  1. Perhaps he will perform in an amphitheatre then? Good for the accoustic as well. And all the band dressed in togas. And instead of animal dance they could do a taming lions show. And instead of ice cream for the fans there could be bread and wine for the audience.... Ok, I'll stop now.
  2. Sadly no. If he goes on getting smaller and smaller after gigs, perhaps eventually he'll turn into Prince.
  3. Hey, Rosa! Thanks for the great report and showing us the flyers! I like them a lot! And I am sure M liked them too! As some other people here already said, it is surely "only" a legal problem. You know, f.e. the word "aspirines" is surely copyright of Bayer, so if they are nasty, they could start making trouble if they see a flyer like that or search about the use of the word "aspirin" on Google. In Germany, people are getting sued all the time because of stuff like that. Very stupid. So I suppose the M management is careful about copyrights and things like that. But anyway, I am sure he appreciated your efforts a lot! So don't be sad! And it seems like you all had a great time apart from that! Hey, did Mika seem smaller to you than you thought he is? Was just wondering, since as I saw him at the M&G I thought: "Wow, he's smaller than I thought!" I have a theory about Mika having a post gig shrink.
  4. And about Mika: I agree, smaller gigs are definitely nicer, but I guess we are too late for that... But who knows, since touring is so expensive, perhaps the music industry will pay only for smaller/accoustic tours in the future. It is all a matter of money and marketing and who is going to be the big star of Universal Music in the next years, and who they will choose to promote, I suppose. I mean, they have so many musicians under contract, they can't really finance big tours for all of them, so it will be a matter of choice. :dunno:

  5. Yes, that's funny about mgmt. their fans are pretty relaxed about it, even though most of them are from the USA. i hope we don't all get arrested after the gig here in germany, even though i don't use any drugs. wonder what it will be like. surely quite different from a mika gig, haha.

  6. Me too. Nice to hear I am not the only one. :thumb_yello: I like the accoustic shows the best. Only music and I find the contact to the audience much better. Am not at all impressed by this deco stuff on stage. But obviously, that's the direction he wants to go into. So... Perhaps he'll change it all for the next album. On the other hand, if he's so flamboyant in his music, perhaps he has to be flamboyant in his stage performance too. :dunno: And if that includes inflatable legs and pizzas....

You know what? Now I come to think about it: I like stage shows. Only some kind of more elaborate stage stuff, like really cool lights and really professional dancers and choreography. Like Madonna's. That's really impressive. Then I love stage shows.

I liked the dragon though. The one they used on Love Today in earlier times.

  7. Oh, whatever, for example that's he's immature, because he's still living with his parents, or that his music is shallow and happy, because pple don't care to read the lyrics, or that his voice has a range of 50000 octaves...

  8. Yes, sure they are somehow influenced. But Andrew said they are using "only" recreational drugs/party drugs (perhaps funny but dunny dfx pills or whatever :teehee:). So perhaps no drugs when they are working. But really, I don't have any idea, I am really not a drug expert. They say they wrote a song about that (dunno which one) that was meant to be only a fun and ironic, but now they have that image... That reminds me of another musician with certain image he can't get rid of... :teehee:

  9. Yep, they have a homepage and a forum. Actually, that link guides you directly to their homepage, which is pretty psychodelic, cause it is designed by the fans. The backgrounds are drawings from fans. Pretty cool. And on top of the page there is the link "stuff" and if you click on that, you'll see "forum". That's the fanclub. Not so elaborate as MFC. But pretty much the same, all the fans are like "OMG, Andrew!!!!!"

Yeah, they seem to hang out with the gig visitors. That's what some pple, who went to a gig, wrote. It depends on the weather and stuff, but one wrote they just "hang around" after a gig and talk, or sit on the lawn and draw pictures with the fans. Sounds pretty relaxed.

And about being stoned... I heard they only smoke pot/marihuana. But then, other musicians drink. And I learned at the uni that alcohol addiction is much worser than drug addiction. Much more difficult to medicate and therapy. So... enjoy their music! I am going to a gig in December, yay!

  10. Hey! Yep, I am a big fan! Andrew is pretty hot, isn't he? But you're right, I don't understand a thing either. I thought that's because they speak some strange US English Watch this great vid with an interview, I could understad lots of it. And he's not high for a change :teehee:http://www.whoismgmt.com/de/news/toller-clip

  11. Wow, you played football! Cool! Well, all the best for the Spanish team for Sunday!

  12. I know you said you're not that interested, but perhaps you've changed your mind. So:

    Congratulation for yesterday!

  13. Viel Spaß!!! Wusste gar nicht, dass er noch Konzerte gibt.

  14. Du gehst auf ein Prince concert, oder? Oder war das schon das Konzert? Hab auf jeden Fall diesen Artikel in Twitter gefunden: http://www.faz.net/-01B37C

  15. And poor Lena, she must be devastated... Hope for her he doesn't cancel the one in Moskaw too.

  16. Yay, do this!

  17. That sounds stressful! And he's performing so late, isn't he? But at least the gig is really taking place. Was worried about that after all those announcements in the last weeks. :dunno: I hope you manage it all and wish you a really, really good time!

  18. Actually I grew up in Bulgaria, German is my third language. Second was English, but I forgot a lot of it while learning German... So if Mika ever does a gig in Sofia and does an interview in Bulgarian I am the girl to ask about the translation :teehee:. But I don't thing the chances about that are too big.

  19. Hey there! :bye: So.... Exit on Thursday, right? Have fuuuuunnnn!!!!!

  20. Same here in Germany! :dunno: Not one interview in the papers...

  21. Thanks! :blush-anim-cl: Anytime again! Since some French gigs are on the way in the next weeks I hope he gives some more interviews in French...

  22. No problem! Glad you liked it! I found it very nice too, hope you could understand most of it, since my French did not really get very much better since my school days...

  23. Hey, at last I managed to find an antiquar edition of Dino Buzzati. There is nothing available from him in German at the moment in normal bookshops! Its called: "Lascia o Raddoppia", 6 Racconti. Taking it with me in the holidays. Thanks for telling me his name! :thumb_yello:

  24. Yep, I too come to the opinion that a good laugh about him is the best way to see it all... See ya!

  25. Hey, how are you? Long time no read... You are busy on your brilliant thread, right? I love to spy on that, but I never can write anything, since I crack up laughing and fall off my chair... Great thread, thank you!
