No,during the time of the shows, I had no idea who Mika was. I just discovered him a few months ago. I have watched all the shows on YouTube and on "Uitzending gemist" though. They have such a great connection (at least on screen). That Christmas show is insanely unorganized and chaotic but hilarious. I loved the part where Mika met the crying young girl. He looked pretty confused but handled the situation very kindly (left the poor kid alone).

I think you were attending some shows, weren't you?

I have attended the Christmas show. It was a great show indeed. I didn't go to the first show in October because I was waiting in front of Paradiso for Mika's gig. But these are the only shows I attended in the Netherlands. I've been to several gigs in Europe though and I was one of the lucky MFCers that was able to attend the Montreal gigs.

Let's hope for the announcement for some Dutch shows soon. It would be lovely to meet you one day.

@Annemieke: veel dank. Ik heb deze clip al ontelbaar veel keren afgespeeld maar heb het net weer opnieuw gedaan. Dit filmpje samen met Grace Kelly (maar vooral ook het contrast tussen de twee) hebben me voorgoed fan gemaakt. Ik smelt als ik dit optreden zie. Ook door de gelukzalige blik van Paul als hij naar Mika kijkt. Net een blij kind. De wereld is even heel mooi tijdens zo'n moment.

I've tried to write reports but I just can't seem to find the right words so I give up ... I'm too overwhelmed by everything that has happened this week . As some of you already know, my life has been full of sh*t the last two years and sometimes the only thing that kept me going was the thought of going to Montreal to see Mika and to meet so many MFCers. Although I knew these gigs would be special, they totally exceeded my expectation. And it was not just the gigs, it was the whole package including meeting and spending time with other MFCers in a country that was totally new for me.

So I just want to say thank you to everyone I met and spent time with in Montreal. You guys made this week extra special for me. And a big thank you to MIKA for giving these incredible gigs. You all gave me so much energy (even I'm totally exhausted right now ). Thank you, thank you, thank you everyone. :flowers2:

OMG!!!!! at school right now and I cant focus! In my brain its MIKA everywhere!!!! All my firends are tired of seeing me like this! Im CRAZYYY!!! I want to see you all there my friends!! ... it would be sooooooooo fun to see him after the show!! the last time I had the chance at the festival des montgolfiere I was so happy that Mika was like Hi and I was completely frozen like (maybe he feeled awkward haha sorry MIKA) But if I have the chance to talk to him tonight Ill give him a big hug!!!!

Don't worry ... Mika is used to that.

I get a bit worried that I don't actually recognise people who I have met before, let alone the ones that I haven't! I think I will be ok with you Deb, and I am travelling with Teresa and buttons so I should be ok with them:wink2: but after that................

Aawww - how nice of you! Of course you shall not wait for me for hours, at the airport - we'll meet later, and I can't wait - it's so exciting, the whole thing! To finally meet so many dear MFCers To see the city - and last, but not least: To see MIKA again, performing in this special hall, with 110 musicians - OMG!! It's almost hard to believe that we're this lucky!! I only wish that everybody from MFC, who wanted it, could be present - but they will surely be with us, in spirit...
