Cornwall IS lovely. It would be much further for you but I would be happy if we could manage it etc. Youth hostels might be a good idea too as they tend to be cheap and self catering, there are some nice beachy ones in Wales if your father would like to visit! Well if you have study leave, then YOU don't go back once your exams are over (even though I do but I can skip). So when you know when your last exam is, then you are free. Or you might have a long break in the middle or summat.
