They may well know everything there is to know about it, but by the time we get there I will already have packed my suitcase and possibly forgotten necessary items. I'm taking all advice I can get before I leave.

It's a school trip (cue gasps from everyone I tell). The biology teacher likes holidays It's structured to the last detail, as it is a pre-organised package from a school expedition company. We'll be landing in J-berg, and going straight to the Moholoholo wildlife rehab centre, then to Kruger. After spending time there we'll go up through Botswana (where the rhinos are) and Zambia.

Never been this near the equator, wondering about mosquitos for example. Unlikely to have changed since 1998, so you're my best source
