  1. I am a bit behind (as usual!) and as I am heading to work soon, I don't have time to quote everyone but I want to thank everyone who participated in the Fan Action - and I don't feel like I should be granted any thank yous because without all of you, participating, there would be no fan action, so I am just a small part of this amazing machine called Mika Fan Club! I just shared my vision and it was nothing without your help. I also want to thank everyone, who had fun because of the Action and just I want to thank everyone for being there and for all of the reviews and pictures and videos here and for having an opportunity to meet you and I am just generally filled with love and joy at the moment, because I genuinely forgot, how amazing it is to be part of such a creative society as this fandom truly is. I've heard that Yasmine was filming the audience during TAY. That makes me very happy as well! I really, really hope we'll meet soon.
  2. Aww, same here! I met so many amazing people (but not enough!) in such a short period of time, shame that we could not spend more time together. Yes to the badges! )) definitely that I realised that my nickname I use here (and everywhere else) might be pronounced differently in your thoughts - so when I was introducing myself, I could seem as someone completely random c:
  3. It was amazing! I think all of the songs were discussed so far, but can we appreciate the moment when he was singing unplugged once again? Magic. I was stunned. It was lovely to meet you all! I hope we will meet in London once again soon, as it is my current home now.
  4. IT WORKED <3 It looked nice! I am sure he smiled a lot after he saw this on TAY. I had so much fun. Running around fans and giving away props was a tad stressful though. c: I have some in my home now, gonna put them on my wall, as a memoir! <3 They're amazing. YES! Everybody loved them! I have one too - also an amazing memoir. They were so glittery!
  5. OH MY GOD, it's tomorrow! What time are you planning on going to the pub, guys?
  6. SimonaG, yes, you're right - well, we need all of those, but I just started thinking about the fact, that stalls accommodate 650 seatings out of 1500 (am I right?), so it would be nice if the buildings wouldn't get lost among so many seats! I printed another 41 clouds and 20 more towers, because I didn't have much time today.
  7. I'll print some more houses today and clouds as well! (sorry for a quick post, rushing to school, but just a quick update) And I think it'll be amazing, we already have quite descent amount! Also, I'll do the flag just in case as well c:
  8. Oooooh, I guess I might be the only Polish flag in the audience, that would be COOL!
  9. Awww, you're right, I'll edit in a sec! I can bring the scissors to the meet up, definitely! Actually, I have a whole day off for Mika, so why not cut the stuff? AND! I managed to so far, print 84 pieces! On a normal paper only, sadly, because copy printers in my uni won't let you use different paper and it is expensive a little bit. So, I have 21 pieces of the house, 21 pieces of the tower, 21 pieces of one cloud and 21 one pieces of the other cloud. But I'll print more, definitely of the clouds, cause A4 black&white copying cost me 5p per page, so to print 20 it takes only 1 pound! So, I was thinking - if someone did a design which is black&white only, can you please scan it and send it to me? So I can copy that cheaply. And vary the cityscape a little bit more! Oh, and I printed off the moon on A3 as well - looks quite nice c:
  10. THANK YOU <3 Yes, cutting out will make them look better, however if I'll manage to print at least those 100 copies I might be not able to cut all of them before the show (having some deadlines at uni as well, everything's happening at the same time), but I'll try to make couple of batches printed on better paper and I'll try to cut them out! I think it is a good idea to collect the pieces at one point and to hand them out also during the meeting, cause that'll help prevent the stir happening just before the show. However, hopefully there'll be still lots of spare ones to hand out to people in the theatre as well. ) By the way, I updated the first post as well, hopefully clear enough, cause I have a tendency to overflow the posts. )
  11. Yes, on my way to do that! I will print the moon on A3 as well, with pleasure. Update: And oh my dear, almost forgot - THANK YOU!

  13. So! They are closing my library soon and I won't have a scanner to work with, so I am posting what I've done so far! There are couple of simple designs, meant to be print on A4, they were literally put on A4 blank page in Photoshop, so there is no need to crop them or resize them, just print them as they are - if you of course want to help with printing! )) So, dcdeb said, she has stars from another fan action (around 100? yay!) to give to fans as well, but I did the star before knowing that and if you are really keen on printing them, then you can! But I guess we would need more of the rest of those. Also, I couldn't decide between the clouds, so I am posting two of the designs. There is a one moon to be printed on A3 (if no one would volunteer from upper circle to do that I will print it myself and then find someone with upper circle seat to hold that. I do have stalls ticket myself! ) I only made two building for now, but as we need variety, I will do some more tomorrow. Also, I will start printing them tomorrow, because as I said, they'll close the whole building soon! :C So, from the speedy share links you can download full quality images to print them! 14. Are you going to be in the pub meeting as well? Thank you very much for your offer. I will definitely let you know if there is an emergency, but I do not want to bother you too much - if I will be able to bring them on my own (I'll find a lovely bag for all of this paper) then I hope I do not have to cause any trouble to you! By the way, I'll post some stuff I made in a sec. Need to adjust them a little bit.
  15. Oh, this is so lovely, thank you for organising that! <3 Would be lovely to meet you, guys. I'll try to be there, depends how my week will go! Can't believe it's only a week from now.
  16. Yes, I will post the designs so anyone who would like to help with printing will be able to download them from here Mellody, the things you've done are amazing! <3 And it's incredible that so many people already want to contribute/contributed already. We can do it, we are the best fandom in the World! (well, excluding me).
  17. If we'll do the original idea, then I can design at least 10 different objects to print on Sunday/Monday and I'll print some of those myself as well, I guess I can spend like... 40 pounds? on printing in my uni, so if A4 sheet costs me 25p there'll be a nice amount to start with. Upper Circle could be also clouds and we can do a single moon, A3 size, for someone random to hold it, someone who'll volunteer? But I like the victory sign a lot. I can just adjust that to fit on A4 page, ready to print. So - - stalls - houses and buldings - dress circle - stars - upper circle - victory sign and clouds if we agree on those. Shame he doesn't sing All She Wants, not only the spoons wouldn't work out, but I just love this song so much :c
  18. There are other simple symbols like - sunflower, the golden letter M. Or everybody could hold a sun on Staring at the Sun? Other abstract idea is holding a spoon in the right moment of the lyrics on All She Wants, because this what everybody could get and the fact, it is really just a soon appeals to me, it would a bit bizarre and funny I guess? But it might be a little bit too odd.
  19. Hello, Guys, I am really sorry for my absence. I was putting this duty away and away and couple of weeks ago, my life became very complicated, I had to struggle with a lot of stress, and my situation was not sorted out until yesterday - and this is when I realised, how late it is with the action! I do apologize, I feel terrible and childlish, because I know I should've taken responsibility ages ago - I just got overwhelmed by everything. If the banners are banned, I was wondering, if we should find just one object, very symbolic, like the stars, but something new. Something which will just unite the fans and what they will be able to bring along easily. I was thinking - maybe artificial flowers? You can find them in pound land, for example. But do you think it is possible still to bring the buildings and the other pieces of cityscape if they'll be the size of A4? A3 is not very big either.
  20. I hate when they don't let people print the tickets themselves, I always get so paranoid that they might get sucked into the void of the post services, like many of my parcels before ._.
  21. 2 hours? Amazing! It's my first serious concert, and the same, after this aperitif we had in Hyde Park it should be such a delicious meal. (sorry for the stupid metaphor)
  22. Oh, lovely! That'll be such a great opportunity to meet all amazing people who are here, on MFC! Can't wait even more for 18th.
  23. You're right, I totally understand your concerns! I am really sorry for my absence here, I just got sucked into the routine of my life lately. So, yes - actually collecting money will be very difficult. Therefore this is rather just an idea, because if people will make the pieces or print them on their own, there's no need for someone to take the money and use them. Alright! I am cracking on designing the buildings and other goodies, I will show the results soon.
  24. If it is only about 20 copies, then I can easily go anywhere in London, I think on my Uni it would be possible as well. They probably could help me with massive amount printing as well, but it's summer holidays and I have no one to help me from the tutors. But if you could look up as well, that'll probably be unspeakable help for everyone. Thank you for offering your assistance <3
  25. That would be splendid! It would heeeelp a lot! I think that it is great. If that's not a problem for you, then I think we would love to get them for the action! Thank you!!!
