  1. Hi guys, how are you all doing? :)

Sorry for being so inactive here lately.  I've been incredibly busy with college and have a lot on my mind right now.

I also have a bit of a dilemma.  There's this guy in my college course who I think is really cute.  We've been talking and hanging out quite a bit, and I really love spending time with him.  In fact, I found out through a mutual friend that he finds me attractive.  Only trouble is, there is an age gap of 8 years.  Plus, I've never been in a serious relationship, so I don't really know what I'm doing.  Should I ask him out and risk rejection, or do nothing?  He has shown a few signs of interest (he said he liked my eyes once :blush-anim-cl:), but I feel that the age gap is the main issue.

    Any advice would be appreciated!

Yes, I've talked to some amazing people in the last week thanks to this page! Since I'm relatively new to everything Mika do you have any must-see videos or songs that he hasn't released that I should listen to? I started watching Casa Mika since the Subteam has translated then and they are amazing!!

There are plenty of Mika videos available on YouTube.  I really like this channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsfSZ_7Z_kV25eMP7i7fLPQ She posts lots of funny Mika videos with subtitles so I'd highly recommend it! :)

How Much Do You Love Me is a great song.  There is no recorded version but he has performed it live:

I'm new to the MFC and it's so fun reading posts and interacting with others. I've been super busy with nursing school and training for some running road races I have coming up! However, I always find time to listen to Mika's music because it is truly magical!

Welcome!  It's amazing to be able to speak to other fans.  I've made so many friends thanks to MFC. :)

Indeed! Figured I'd bump this thread :naughty: Well, better be busy then doing nothing right? :aah: I've been busy with work as well (mostly preperations) since the busiest month of the year is coming. :)

Last year was my gap year, so I didn't really do much (apart from the Mika gig, of course!).  But this year I've been so busy with college and meeting new people. :D

Ah yes, not long now! :wink2:

How fun! :D Making new friends is always good! Same goes for pizza, is also always good :naughty:  What did they say when you started about Mika? :)

Yeah, it was so good.  You can never go wrong with pizza! :licks_lips:

One of the girls said she had heard of Mika and liked his song Lollipop.  Most people here seem to know him for LICM but nothing much else.  One of the boys didn't know who he was, so I told him and now he is going to look him up.  I should be getting paid for promoting Mika! :aah:

Yes me too. :tears: Make sure that, if you get the opportunity to go, you take a lot of pics and you have to meet him. :glasses2: :crossed:

Omg, such rude people. I really don't understand why there are people like that. :annoyed_h4h:  Isn't there a way you could maybe get a different room? Or isn't that an option at all?

I don't understand it either.  Sadly I don't think it's possible to get another room; the accommodation is completely sold out.  I like the room itself; after all, I've already furnished it with Mika posters! :D  But some people are so rude it's unbelievable.

I'll definitely take lots of pics!  Meeting him would be a dream come true... :swoon:

Oh yes the Voice should be fun as well! :biggrin2: Let's hope he'll tour soon again. But first; a new album :naughty:

Ah that really sucks! :(  I mean, we always have a lot of loud and noisy teens in front of our house in the weekends (we have a playground in front of our house) so I can sympathize a little with you. They should understand why you complain all the time, especially if it's affecting your health :( I hope something will happen soon for you.

The Voice would be great to see; plus, it takes place on Saturdays, so I'd be able to get time off college easily.  If only I could see Mika again soon, I miss him so much... :tears:

Hopefully I will get it sorted eventually.  The receptionists sent out an email reminding people to be quiet, but obviously some have just ignored it. :(  I might listen to music while I sleep, to block out the noise, but it would be so much better if it was sorted completely.

I hate it... it makes you feel so weak and you can't do anything...

    Any plans for the weekend?

I can sympathise.  I felt terrible this morning.  Last night I was awake until 4am because of the noisy neighbours.  This is getting seriously out of control.  I hate to complain all the time but I haven't slept properly in ages.  Plus, the noise is affecting my mental health as well. :tears:

I might go out tomorrow for a walk.  There's a really lovely park on the west side of Glasgow, so I might go there.  What about you? :)

Yeah that wouldn't be handy if you'd know only 2 days or even 1 day in advance :dunno: I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you :crossed:

That's great! Maybe you'll make some new friends! :D

Thank you so much!  If I can't go, I'll maybe try for The Voice France instead.  Plus, hopefully he will tour again next year. :wink2:

    I hope so! :biggrin2:

I hope so too! I can imagine! :excite:

That's good to hear :) Things are always better if the people are nice. :)

I would love to see Casa Mika so much, but unfortunately I heard that last year tickets were released very soon in advance - only a few days before the actual show!  Hopefully it will be different this year but that would be very inconvenient.  I would need time to organise travel etc. :annoyed_h4h:

Yeah, the people are really nice.  I got chatting to some more of them yesterday, and I hope I get to know them more. :)

I also have no idea how that works. Have you asked about it in the Casa Mika thread? :dunno: It would be amazing if you could go there though! :biggrin2:  Would make a perfect holiday :naughty:

Last time I asked, no one else knew either, but I guess I could ask again.  Hopefully some more news will be released soon.  I would be the happiest girl in the world! :boing:

Wohooooooooo new month and so my Internet is faster again. :biggrin2:

    What's up?

    I feel I'm getting ill... I have a sore throat... -_-

Oh no, that's terrible.  I was ill last week.  Must be that time of year. :(

I'm doing ok.  I'm really enjoying my writing course at college.  It's very interesting and the people are so nice!
