I wanted to participate in a contest almost for fun, believing that it was reserved for certain people.
Well, I’ve discovered that it was not and I’ve won... and it was more incredible because there were two tickets for Mika's private concert in La Cigale in Paris. The Location was small, intimate and the stage was so close to the audience that we moved backward each time he approached, to prevent him from hurting himself and trampling on our hands.
There was the same atmosphere of the Tiny Tour.. Indeed he came down from the stage and he sang and danced with us. I can describe it as a crazy evening that we’ve passed smiling, sharing looks.. It was extremely magic!
The weariness caused by 12 hours of waiting in the rain disappeared as soon as he came on stage.
Thanks to all Italian and French people, who kept me company before, during and after the concert and what else... See you soon on tour. ❤❤❤Oh yes Gabry ! What a wonderful memory

Idk, to me the song doesn't really represent the city, of course, it mentions the city and it's named after Sanremo, but the song isn't about the city itself if you know what I mean... It would work with another Italian town which is located by the sea as well. It's more about the image you get from the song.
Which is why I asked the question. I even think that this song is better suited to represent a cause rather than a city.

Great song. The more I listen to it, the more I like it. Ideal to dance, dance, dance. He should play it live. I'm at home dancing with this song, in the kitchen as he says in the song, inthe living room, in the bedroom. I see me next month jumping, singing and dancing among the crowd.
Oh yes, dancing dancing dancing...
And since we're talking about songs from the new album, what do you think about the idea of the mayor of Sanremo, who would like this song to represent his city? -

As Mika said not long ago, we don't have to like each single song and it's ok
I do love all of them in this album which is a first as I usually have one or two I don't ever listen to in each album. At first I wasn't keen on Cry, and Platform Bellerinas was not appealing to me...but his voice and his words did the trick and they grew on me.
Tomorrow was my instant favorite, Tiny Love and Sanremo being very close...but Paloma, Tiny Love reprise, Ready to call this love, I went to hell last night, Blue and Stay high totally won my heart at first hearing
I am a happy fan and on a Mika high with this album forever
Sorry I went got me carried away
And Sanremo video is a beautiful movie and such a brave thing to do, and Mika is absolutely gorgeous in it even though I feel for him when I feel the pain he plays which is not fake, but something he has experienced and I just want to hug him.
But he was so right to make a video about this difficult struggle which hopefully will raise awareness and help many young people who don't fit into the "straight" model of society feel that they are not lonely and that it can get better.
I totally agree with your analysis, Anne. I think you understood what I meant. The song that I find rather banal is accompanied by a video far from leaving me insensitive. Magic Mika On the other hand, fortunately we each have our own preferences, otherwise it would be sad for Mika. Kisses Anne. 😘

I love the videoclip, it’s very beautiful and deep.. but i have a question, if you have any idea can you please answer me?
I don’t understand the connection between the lyrics of the song (that seems happy and full of joy with just a little of loneliness) and the video (with this deep message about homosexuality in the ‘900). (I think the video is filmed to look like around 1960.)
Maybe i lost the meaning of some parts of the song, because i don’t speak english very well.
If you can help me understanding more thank you❤️
Mika often says that he deals with black and serious subjects on light music. I think we have a perfect example of what he means. But, as far as I'm concerned, the song alone leaves me quite indifferent to the rest of the album

This song is far from being my favorite from the album. But I must admit that the clip gives it another dimension. There's something disturbing about this clip and since I guess that's what Mika's looking for, it's pretty successful

It is a magnificent tribute that few brothers are able to pay to their sisters

Difficult to listen to this song without moving. On the other hand, I think Mika knows women well, if only through these sisters.

He said he was about to deliver the final recording of the album, so I thought it was last or even this year. But he said she wrote "remember, may your head always bloom". So it might've been a reminder from her of this drawing from 2017 - or he's mixing up things.
I remember this drawing, I found it surprising. When you know the story, it gets really moving

Yeeesss Sara, exactly my thoughts.
What I did with TBWKTM was listening the songs and wrote all the lyrics in a notebook and while I listened to the songs I sang it reading the lyrics and in the end I managed to learn and sing it as fast as Mika but now I'm busy and to lazy to do the same.
but no, Alba, it's the hot temperatures that are responsible.

I guess it will be after 4th October. The question is where's going to be the promotion? I know he'll come to Spain the 19th and for sure he will sing Ice cream and It is assumed that some other. It would be nice if it was this one or Sanremo. "Dear Jealousy"would have been great as the first single.
Will you go to see him the 19th Alba ?

I prefer Tiny Love. When I hear the whole song tomorrow, I will be able to give my opinion but for now Tiny Love is my favorite. If I have to rate the singles he has released until now, Tiny Love is in first position, Sanremo the second and Ice cream third.
I wish there was sound of orchestra !!!
