If you don't get the amount of leaves you expected , what about giving sheets  only to the unpair seats on unpair ranks  ,and to pair seats on pair ranks  ?

In the middle there's the overall count of what we need of each colour. As you can see, of light green we won't even need 2x 500 packs, but 1x 500 and 1x 250 should be enough.

 

What is important if anyone buys more paper is that they can print the instructions on them. Maybe @miknikel if you can find someone who lives near you and can print the papers you bought, that'd be ideal. If not, I can buy and print labels, which we can use instead of scotch tape to stick your papers to the chairs. I'll make a list tomorrow of what we have and what we still need.

 

What about your pink papers, are they by Clairefontaine as well? Which colour exactly (photo / link)?

If you want, try to contact the venue and ask if 10 (-20) people could enter in advance... I had written them in summer and asked them a question about buying tickets, but never got an answer, so I won't try again. But if we enter when the doors open, we still should be able to do it. Maybe it'd be good though to prepare them that we'll bring lots of paper, so security knows in advance, if possible.

 

Someone (I think Joelle?) wrote that it should be possible to go through all the seats, there's no barriers, so I guess it's ok if we organize it with people from the gold circle. And it certainly helps to have a lot of people in gold circle to distribute the papers, then we'll be finished sooner. I'd prefer anyway if we first finish one area, then go to the next, so we can be sure to have something complete, even if we happen to run out of time.

the translator is not always reliable. In my last sentence, I ask you what color of leaves we should ask people who offer to buy them.

I just noticed that the orange paper you have is 80g and the yellow one 160g - isn't that too thick maybe?  Was it on purpose that you bought 2 different paper weights or didn't they have the normal (80g) one of yellow?

If you didn't buy the brand I posted, can you post pictures please (or links to the same article online), so I know what the colours you have look like? Especially of the pink ones you have at home? Then maybe I can find a similar colour if I buy a 2nd set.

Yes, pink , I have about 450 at home. I will post this weekend the pictures of the colors I have. So far two people have offered to help, but I think it is possible to find more. Others had offered their help, but they are in the pit .Maybe I can ask if I can exchange an orange package for a green package. I'll check it out.

@Amy hudsone that looks fab, but hard to tell what they're using... it looks like some sort of coloured lights to me, maybe big glowsticks or LED lights?

 

We could do that kind of rainbow (vertical instead of horizontal lines) if we do more than one rainbow, one for each side of the venue (left / right / back). Then it also wouldn't matter much if we use different paper colours in different areas, for example if the papers miknikel has at home look different. That way we could include the side with the VIP seats (lower non-VIP area) and it wouldn't matter as much if some people don't want to take part, it worries me a little that it's just 4 rows per colour if we do it horizontally...  But the arguments I gave before for the horizontal version are still valid as well, although it's not as impossible as I thought if we do 2 or 3 rainbows instead of just one. Not sure what is better, would love to hear your opinions on it.

I checked what I have at home. I have about 100 leaves of each color in yellow, orange, blue, blue, green and pink of quite bright colors. And I have about 450 pink leaves a little lighter. But I can buy some more without any worries. It is the Clairefontaine brand. I think that several rainbows would indeed be prettier.

As for helpers, as many as possible in the Cat1 gold circle seated areas, to help distribute the sheets on the seats. We should enter when the doors open and share all the papers among us to take them inside. I can make a seating map for all helpers, so everyone knows which seat row gets which colour.

Maybe more people to buy and print sheets, but first let's collect what we get here, so we can keep an overview, we don't want 50 different colours.

Just please post here which colour/s you'll buy, 500 sheets per colour, then we'll know what we have. I'll buy the rest, or if you share the whole rainbow between you, I can buy a complete 2nd set, then we'd have 7000 sheets altogether. But we'd really need to find more volunteers to distribute them in the venue then, we don't want to be busy with it all night! 🙈 😂 I'll ask on Facebook if more people want to help.

 

For those in the standing area, if you want to organize rainbow coloured sheets to go along with this, please do so yourself... I'll be busy with organizing the seats, I can't help with the standing area. Song is Origin of Love.

I already have A4 coloured sheets at home. I'll look at exactly what I have and tell you again. I can also buy some more, I think I have some pretty bright colors. However, I have nothing to print. I also think I can get you volunteers, just tell me how many you want.

Love has different meanings and different dimentions. As our sheets "We missed you" - it was the way to show Mika our love to him. Or am I wrong?

 

 

i can't imagine to wait with the fan action till the end of the show. Actions during the show turn up the energy (Mika's and ours) as it shows our participation in the event.

Mika captures it at once and (as i could observe) it gives him energy too. 

 

So imo if we use sheets of paper they can be used twice: after the first show and during Stay High. One piece of paper = two actions.

 

But on the other hand it would be great to repeat "Tiny Love" action with paper hearts and glowing hearts.... I did not see too many actions for this song. Only one maybe in Italy two days ago? 

Paper hearts are pretty easy to make - as we still have time. We can create 2'000 I hope.

But what about glowing sticks? It's more expensive and time consuming.
