He said artistic direction attracted him. Do you think he can live without the stage?

I'd rather like to know how you imagine the next concerts, or even Mika's next tour.

Well, obviously, I feel like we ought to do something but I'm not sure what or when. I want to be respectful and give the family space. I'll ask around and will post when we figure out what we ought to do.
I couldn't agree more, Deb. With respect and simplicity, it will be best

You are right, Michelle.
For me as well it' s pretty normal to use Polish, French and English (maybe not in one sentence). But actually it started when I was about 30y-o (for 3 languages - English was my first foreign language at school, and Russian ).
It seems to me like it was always like this
So I am learning Italian to increase my collection of languages. Blame it on Mika, please
Anna who will soon know more languages than Mika! Yes, she will!

Same! I am learning Italian. Because, why not? ☺️ Education opens doors, but language opens hearts. Just my opinion though 😆
Michelle do you speak French ?

Mika opens his ears wide when the prod tells him : no question of jumping on the piano tonight.

Chandler, would you allow me to post a more general question on your thread this evening. I could open another thread, but I'm not sure it would be useful to create too many question concerns of course the publications made on Mika.
If a mod can give her opinion, it will be welcome.

Sorry for the huge print that appeared and makes my reaction look aggressive. It was not intentional. Error of manipulation. Chanleon, I too would like to correct one thing, my answer was addressed only to Mellody's post and spoke about publication in general. The sexualization of anyone is not a subject that amuses me either, even if I don't go back on what I wrote first. I'm aware that I've gone a bit beyond the subject, but I just thought that your thread could also give us an opportunity to discuss this aspect. But maybe I shouldn't have mixed it all up.

I think that's a good point. Disrespectful and very explicit comments, of people of all ages, are something that I think none of us wants to see. But I don't see anything disrespectful in the 😍 smiley, for example. So maybe it's more a question of our different views on what a disrespectful or explicit comment is? I guess it might make sense that a 12 year old has different views on this than a 16 year old than a 30 or 40 year old.
Absolutely Mellody. We don't all laugh at the same things. What one will like may seem silly or inappropriate to his neighbor. Whatever the case, humor is a precious ally to go through life. Do we not say that humor is a form of intelligence? And, thank God, Mika is not without it

I agree with Melody on many points. For example, Mika himself said several times when he presented his last album that pop music had become de-sexualized. From there to deduce that this is part of the "game", there is only one step. Of course this doesn't mean that we have to forget all respect for it. Some of the comments you mention could be described as of dubious taste. But your publication also makes me wonder about one thing: is it only a question of age? Anonymity gives wings. For example, a person who regularly published comments on Mika, on the verge of indecency, I was petrified when I learned that she was just 13 years old. I believe that it is up to each of us to weigh up our comments, while keeping in mind a few common sense rules. Make sure you don't shock anyone, including Mika, of course. Afterwards, it remains true that not everyone has the same vision on the subject, but I wonder if before being a question of age, it is not rather a question of state of mind. In any case, it is interesting to have different points of view and to be able to talk about it in all serenity

I don't really know how to express this, but I find it so gratifying to be able to say that thanks to Mika, we may have, bought a brick, which will be in a wall, and that wall will be in Beirut. It's a picture of course, but I like it!

I read somewhere that they will have a small audience at the venue and the rest online, but not sure if that was an official info.
A priori, places will already be allocated to VIPs. As the hall is not very large, this will limit the possibilities. But nothing is official for the moment.

Some time ago, a journalist who is close to me, pointed out to me that Mika was losing notoriety in France. That made me smile. But I have to admit, even if it makes me very sad, that she was right. When I see Ibrahim Maalouf's post-insta quoting the artists present without mentioning Mika, a native of Lebanon, it saddens me. He is no longer quoted much by our this is felt by the public. His communication in France is deplorable. I don't know if it's a choice on his part, but what I do know is that for the time being, it's us, his fans, his best relays.

I really liked it! I'm a big fan of animation, especially when it's done in a beautiful way as it is in this particular video.
and I've also been touched by the story itself! Of course it's always nice to have a video with Mika as real person, but this one is very special tho and I'm not disappointed at all!
It's fun, because I'm not much more than that in the way of entertainment. But this one has something both tender and cruel and I like this side. The only thing I could regret is not seeing the warm smiles of Sopra and Mika.......
Maybe, one day, on stage ........

that's not related to the streaming gig at all though. But sure, could be, it's just an assumption that the announcements are related to it. I know some of the French fans were sad that he did Xfactor IT but not The Voice FR this year, so they surely would be thrilled.
I think that if he makes announcements just before the concert, they will be mostly about the concert. And for the voice, that would be good news, but if things get better, he'll certainly resume his international tour before planning anything else. At least, that's what I imagine. But, Alba, I wish you were right and that we would see him again one day at the voice.

I like this a lot more than the Italian one. Soprano's voice bothers me a bit, and sure, the song is pretty commercial and doesn't have the specialness I'd expect from a Mika song. Nothing compared to his album! But it's very catchy and I like the lower registers of Mika's voice, it's just beautiful to listen to him. Compared to the fact that 2 weeks ago we were still wondering whether we'd hear from Mika at all for the rest of the month , this is quite a lovely surprise. 🙂
Looking forward to someone posting a transcript of the lyrics. I understand something like "guarde le coer debout, le coer holiday" and "Miami ou Marseille", and "soleil", but that's it.

I love the rhythm and beat. Mika‘s part feels tame, because he‘s not getting into his complete vocal range and it kind of feels like „singing along“ this way. But that’s because I just really love his sound, which I cannot truly hear in this song.
It‘s like him sitting in the club, holding his drink and bopping his head to the beat, instead of dancing on the tables and entertaining everyone!
Still a nice song to dance to, though 😊
I'm dancing in my bed

Let's imagine the next tour

After a rather intimate album, I imagine something much crazier, something dark and happy, as he knows how to do so well.
