I had the chance to smell him after a show freshly showered and smelled like mint. It was a good sensation However, other times I have been very close to him and I have been able to smell him but I was so that I could not smell anything
You lucky, lucky girl!

I did wonder if he'd be able to travel from France so soon, given their restrictions on people entering from the US.
So maybe a swish hotel garden in Paris?

Come to think of it. It makes me grateful Instagram doesn’t have smell
You people are mean! And funny.
I bet even stinky Mika smells 100 times better than anyone else.
*Thinks of unkempt, sweaty, shirtless Mika* Umm, I'm willing to offer my services for this important research.

Ok, we also have flowers as hint. Where do they grow?
(Please don't ask me, I know what is a rose, but that's almost where it stops. )
Ok, the last ones are daisies, even I know that, but that doesn't really help us.
I've already been looking at this. Unfortunately I don't think the flowers are specific to a certain place. The blue flower is a ceanothus, also called Californian lilac, which adapted to thrive in the Mediterranean climate. The yellow looks to me to be a type of cytisus, common name Broom, which is widespread. The white flowers with the insects on are a type of spiraea, again widespread. And daisies are daisies. I'm not sure about the white flowers with the yellow centres, but it might be a convolvulus cneorum (shrubby bindweed) which is native to the Mediterranean region.
So very nice, we're in the right area, but it doesn't help with the country.

I've cracked it! Based on the latest Instagram posts, I'm going to say that he is... *drumroll*
Somewhere in the Mediterranean area!
Yeah, still some work to do...

Awwww I love her. She's really beautiful. I adore cats. Thanks for sharing this sweet lady
You're welcome! 😻 Don't be fooled though, like most sweet old ladies she has a stubborn side too. *Looks at scratch on shoulder*. Think she takes after me.

Mika's always liked flowers. He's said in various interviews that he loves gardens, he regretted not having the time to care for them properly, and that he planted flowers at his home in London (when he had it, dunno if he still does). And he had all the plants and herbs growing on the balcony in Athens. Plus he's used them on stage.
I'm not sure what the blue flower is - a type of ceanothus maybe?
And I'm wondering what the significance of the blue door is. Maybe none and he just really likes the colour!

That should be translated more like "we are preparing" I assume
Yes, "we are preparing" , or, "we are in preparations for" , so many things.
The translation software was probably aiming for "we have so many things in the pipeline".

Mentioning the script about a young camel is interesting, maybe he's writing the music for an animated film?

So, we have an instagram update. Does anyone recognise the mirror or the wall in the garden? Sounds like there's a fountain or water feature nearby.

For me the best it's still the original demo version
Oh, that's beautiful! I do love when it's just his voice and piano. It's interesting how the songs develop. This version is more hopeful/pleading, the others are angrier/hurt/disappointed. I love all 3! Wonderful.
Honestly, this man could sing the phone book and I'd love it.

I've just seen the sinfonia pop version, and was completely blown away by his performance. So I listened to the album version and, I love it. 2 different takes on a great song. Both versions are powerful. A new fave. I just wish I could sing, as I'll be screeching along with it for the next few days - sorry neighbours!

2 hours ago, krysady said:the title of his presentation was: "Marketing, music and art: how far can you go? A lecture in honor of a Miami prostitute". I remember him saying that he got very interesting questions from students, it is such a shame that we never got the recording
Oh that sounds great! Was the recording lost, or private, or just never released?

Hahahah! That was my thought when I saw the pic for the first time but my feelings have changed with time.
Honestly, I prefer the more recent pics - the man, not the boy - but he obviously put a lot of work in to get those muscles and was happy to show them off, so I'm happy to appreciate them.
Speaking of which...

I don't know if this sort of shops are open in Paris due to the lockdown.
Good point! I'm so used to working from home now, I forget shops are still closed.

Honestly, I believe him too. I think he is (or was) there. My post was kind of in jest.

1 hour ago, krysady said:Well, that is one of the best Mika interviews ever and the host it's his good friend, probably that's why such a personal approach.
Ah, I didn't know they were friends, thank you. I agree, it was an amazing interview, and I'll definitely rewatch. I just got a bit upset early on when the host's intro made a joke about the school bullies throwing things at his head, it didn't seem right. Maybe displaced anger, I dunno. I get protective sometimes. But, he handled it all with his usual grace, dignity and aplomb, all was well in the end. ❤️
1 hour ago, krysady said:And there's also some special interviews that is worth to watch like these ones:
Thanks! I've seen the first one, but not the second, I'll watch it tonight.
