@Heroshouldn’t have to worry about Mika reading the comments, it’s your colleagues you need to be worried about! 🙈🤣
I seriously doubt it, given when I mentioned his name there was a collective "who?" I need to get them educated. Maybe after the concert though, so they're not grabbing tickets!
Honestly, there's more chance of Mika reading this. Not that I think he does, but just in case:
Hi Mika! ❤️

I'm crying with laughter. It seems I have a reputation. Just had a catch up online with my team leader at work. Mentioned I was excited as I might be able to attend a concert in Paris in October. She replied, exact words, "Oh! Is this your mate Mika?"
I'd jokingly suggested to her that we have a safe distanced outdoor disco on the playing field at work. She mentioned it to another team leader who replied "is that so she can listen to Mika"! I mean yes, but...
I swear to god, I've only mentioned him to them once, and that was while chatting at an online quiz after work a couple of months back!! I must have been effusive.

Now I've read on Twitter that there'll be probably only 1 200 seats (half of the venue).
I wondered if they'd do that, probably leaving a free seat between attendees for safe distancing. Fingers crossed we can get some tickets!

What I usually do is arrive the day before the concert and leave the day after, in this case it would be 3 nights in Paris and since you do not have to queue, you can take advantage and visit the city if as you say it will be your first time there.
That's a really good idea, thanks!
Yep, first time visiting Paris, first time seeing Mika perform live, first time attending a philharmonic concert...
I might need someone to sit on me, stop me overreacting.

No but I also took a look at the hotels or apartments near the venue yesterday (I know, it's a bit early but I was so excited... ) and it would be great if maybe some of us who are interested could share a room because often the total price was almost the same for 1-2 persons as for 3-4... So it would be much cheaper for one person if more of us could share the costs. Even though I would probably have to stay more than one night, it's a bit too far away for me to stay only one night... Yeah I know, not even the tickets are available yet but I love the planning.
That's a great idea, I'd be happy to share with others. It would be nice to have some company from experienced fans, as I'd be there by myself. I was also thinking of staying a couple of nights, as it'd be my first time in Paris and would be nice not to feel rushed.
Does anyone know if the set list is the same each night, or if some songs might change?

Whoop, just had confirmation that work has agreed my leave request for that weekend!
Next job, get a new passport sorted out! Oh, and my Covid vaccines of course. Whoop!

🙈So more important question to keep on dreaming; what are we wearing??????
Oh god. I need to go shopping.
29 minutes ago, giraffeandy said:I would probably wear my red polka-dot dress, it has long sleeves so it's quite festive and suitable even for spring/fall weather (with a red cardigan) and I wear it for special occasions even though in summer I also wear it sometimes just as a "normal spring/summer dress".
Sounds lovely! Got a pic?

There are a few Aparthotels near the venue that look cheap, has anyone stayed in one?

Cute move. Sweet smile. Beautiful hand and arm. Sexy sweaty neckline. Oh my...
@Mikasister is that your favourite shirt?

No, I've seen that one in the threads. I remember the comments suggested he was having a wee.
Oh well, I guess it's lost. Shame, it seemed to be funny. Thanks for trying! ❤️

Help! I'm trying to find an interview transcript but am having trouble. It was for a newspaper or magazine, the journalist met him at a hotel in either Florence or Milan. It was in 2020 or 2021, as she mentioned he was almost unrecognisable with a mask and hat. (Almost 😆). They ate lunch in the garden, he was "oh wow" at the menu and decided to order lots of little plates for sharing. There was one point in the interview where she said he was watching the sparrows play on the gravel while pondering a question. At the end he asked if she was in a car, she replied no by train, and he said that he'd walk her to the station.
I've checked the Italian news/press thread, but either it's not there or I'm missing it. Does anyone know it?

I think Mika has more intersting things to do than read the craziness his fans write here and the pics we post on gasmic threads.
I can easily imagine Mika reading our comments and Mika seeing gasmic and Attributes Appreciation
Exactly. He's a busy guy, he's got more important things to do.
Right Mika?

Now you do believe that he is reading on this forum?
NO! Nonononononono. Nope. Nuhuh. No. Not a chance. It's just Prisca's magical telepathic connection at work. That's more believable. Yep.
(*waves* Hi Mika! )

Dear Mika, we have a rough idea of where you are, but still haven't figured out exactly where you are.
The detectives in this thread need a new hint.
Can you please post something on Instagram?
OK, Prisca has a direct line to Mika. The Mika whisperer. Good to know!
Hmm. Any gardens with blue doors in Paris?

What great news! Will this be similar to the sinfonia pop concerts? Because they were amazing.

To be fair, he's a far better whistler than me!
Looks good! Love those tiles.
Still can't whistle though.
