So I recently decided I actually like Over My Shoulder quite a bit. It's been bugging me so much that I listed it at the bottom on here that I felt the need to come back here and share my updated list. I moved others around, too. (Haven't updated the music video one yet). Now I have no bottom-rung songs on my list.

YoYo and WGLMN would both be at least in top three tiers if they were on here. WGLMN would probably be at the top, honestly.

I find the footage interesting, but it is kind of confusing as far as the song is concerned.

Ahhh I see what you wrote about the albums now, I misread it. I honestly haven’t listened to some of the live albums in full yet and I’ve been a fan for a year now.

I got the email a while back regarding the delay for the mug but it still arrived on time! Fingers crossed I don't have to wait too long for this order 🤞

Thinking of YoYo merch, it would be awesome if the single was released on a limited 7" colour LP, like Mika did with We are Golden, but instead of a gold LP, one for YoYo one could actually look like an orange yoyo, along with the 8 bit themed artwork too! 😁 🪀

I ordered one of the black For The Rite of Spring tees, but I think I ordered at a different time than everyone else because I never got an email. Mine said it was expected to ship on the 16th but that didn’t happen 😬I guess I won’t email customer support since they seem to still be up in the air on ship dates.

I was going to quote a few of the comments here, but I agree with parts of so many of them that it'd be almost impossible to keep track of it all. I agree with others that this one sounds somewhat like U2, sounds somewhat 90s (even 90s rock to an extent), and yet sounds totally unique and modern at the same time. I think the somewhat simple sound of it may be related to the superficial mindset that's being discussed, which I think someone else mentioned.

If this is talking about the modern dating culture, I really appreciate hearing a song about that, as I can't get behind the whole dating app and superficial club life thing even though it's been something a lot of other people my age have seemed to embrace.

Like others, I wasn't that into this one on first listen but it's starting to grow on me the more I hear it. That's how I am with most songs, so I'm not surprised. It's nice to hear something new, in any case! I'm looking forward to hearing the recorded version eventually.

I became a fan this year at September (yes, I saw Ryan Reynolds singing and I clicked).

At that moment everything was quite, I was watching the video over and over again.

For some reason my ears recognized the song, I didn't know from where. So I searched "Grace Kelly" on YouTube and from there I've been listening and watching everything about Mika.

 

When I listened to the old songs I had a flashback, specially with "We Are Golden". I remember having like 10 years old, watching the video on television and enjoying it so much (also freaking out cause a guy was dancing like crazy only wearing his underwear, in front of my 10 years old eyes 

If it wasn't for the small detail of not having internet at that time, I'm sure I would have been a fan since the beginning.

 

I'm really happy to be here. I can't wait to go to my first concert and meet some of you

I’m pretty sure that, if I think about it, my first introduction to MIKA was hearing Rain and Talk About You playing in stores but I had no idea who was singing them until years later.
