  1. I also thought there was a Japanese edition, but I'm only finding a CD now when I look it up
  2. There was! I posted pictures of mine in this forum if you want to see the actual vinyl: It looks like the unsigned version is still available on the Mika Official Shop, but it seems to only be available from the US store. I have no idea if they ship to other countries from this one anymore, I know people had issues with the French store, as well: https://shop.yomika.com This is the FNAC Edition, which is white: https://www.fnac.com/a18667225/Mika-Que-ta-tete-fleurisse-toujours-Edition-Limitee-Exclusivite-Fnac-Vinyle-Blanc-Vinyle-album There's also the splatter version that I think people have been purchasing at concerts (someone please correct me if I'm wrong!). The Ultimate MIKA Merch Thread I linked with my vinyl post might be helpful for you, also! I think the splatter version is on there, as well.
  3. I feel like I’d like a crowd visit with a newer song (not that a huge audience would probably appreciate that in real life), but I’m not sure which one.
  4. I completely forgot Overrated and Tah Dah on mine! I’d add Tah Dah to my encore and swap out Lollipop for Overrated (any version) 😁
  5. My dream setlist is technically ANY Mika songs I could actually have the opportunity to hear live at this point I worked on one of these a couple of weeks ago for my Instagram story, but I'm sure it will turn out different this time: 1. Bougez 2. Origin of Love 3. Dear Jealousy 4. Tiny Love 5. Heroes 6. Stardust 7. Jane Birkin 8. Oh Girl You're The Devil 9. Lollipop (It was my Mika discovery song and I want to hear it live, even if others aren't so happy with it anymore!) 10. Promiseland 11. Tomorrow (My always-lifts-my-mood song) 12. Ordinary Man 13. One Foot Boy 14. Touche touche 15. By The Time 16. Rio 17. Platform Ballerinas 18. Touches You 19. Good Wife 20. My Interpretation 21. Passager (This song makes me cry and gives me the chills, it's the perfect album closer and I'd love it as a concert closer, too) Encore: 1. We Are Golden 2. Happy Ending 3. Good Guys I was going to do 20 but I just couldn't choose It really is EXTREMELY hard to choose. I tried to get into flow a little bit but I haven't been to enough live events in my life to be good at it, honestly. (Definitely agree that I'd prefer a Taylor Swift-length concert! I would also take a NPIH- or QTTFT-exclusive concert because they're my favorite albums.) The only songs I wouldn't care to ever have at a concert (even though I've never been to a Mika concert) are probably Grace Kelly and Big Girl (You are Beautiful). I feel like I've already heard them too much.
  6. Hi @BeccaMB, welcome to the MFC! I loved reading your introduction! I hope you enjoy your time here

    hi !

Welcome @alldnr Looking forward to seeing your photos!
  8. Hello and welcome @Josephine I hope you enjoy your classical oboe studies, that must be so interesting! I hope you have fun being in the MIKA Fan Club, see you around the forums
  9. Hello and welcome @Becky777 I hope you enjoy being a part of the fan club!
  10. Hello and welcome @Eli19! Working in climate change policy sounds fascinating. I can relate to this with my family Fortunately my 9-year-old niece loves Mika too, though. But joining the MFC is a great choice if you want to talk to people who really understand being a fan! This should be a good start! I've also been telling everyone lately that I discovered the "Unread Content" feed, which is a great place to find out what everyone's talking about right now because it starts with the newest content. I hope you enjoy being a part of the MFC!
  11. I have an iPhone, so I don't know if it's different for other phones or in other countries outside the US, but: I got an app-like bookmark on my phone by "adding to home screen," or something like that. It doesn't change much from using the browser, but I am able to get push notifications this way (maybe the notifications work without adding the bookmark to my home screen—I don't think I ever tried that). I also don't have to keep opening my browser and typing the MFC URL, it just loads automatically with one click like any other app. The notifications aren't perfect, but they are still useful. I have an app on my laptop which I'm using right now, but I don't remember how I got it. It might have been a similar process to what I did on my phone.
  12. This may be going too far off-topic for this thread, but since you asked for help: if I’m looking for something very specific I usually try to search key words, whether I’m using mobile or desktop (I actually have an app on my laptop and a mobile website link on my phone where I also get push notifications for topics I want to keep an eye on). If I just want to see what threads have new comments, I look at the “Unread Content” feed and I can see what is new. I’m not sure if any of this helps MFCers find the concert RSVP links, as I’ve never had the opportunity to use them yet, but I’d probably do a search if I couldn’t find the right section on the website right away. As a side note and probably going further off-topic, a Google/web search that starts with your keyword and ends in “mikafanclub” often works, sometimes even better than searching on the MFC site itself. Edit: So for a concert example: if I wanted to find any and all threads on Bercy/Accor as quickly as possible, I’d probably type in one of those words on the site or using the Google trick I mentioned.
  13. Hi @Joanjettkinnie, welcome! The forum gets easier the longer you use it, I used to have to only use the desktop site, but I’m even comfortable on my phone now (I recently learned that the “unread” feed is really useful if you want to see the latest threads & replies). I hope you have a great time at the Dublin gig
  14. Hello and welcome, @Petite Madame! Enjoy the MFC!
  15. Hi @EmRay, nice to meet you I'm glad to hear you've rediscovered Mika. As someone who only recently discovered him, I can definitely relate to the "missing out" feeling. I hope you enjoy the MFC!
  16. Hi @Gintare, nice to meet you! I know you said you aren’t totally new here but
  17. Hello and welcome @MissMagpie! You’ve listed some of my all-time favorites here I hope you enjoy being a part of the MFC!
  18. Hello and welcome @Deepblue! I also found Mika during a hard time in my life, so I understand the gratitude you feel. I hope you have a wonderful time at the concert and enjoy being a part of the MFC
  19. Hi @willprest, welcome! I hope being a Mika fan keeps helping with your studies, and I’m glad he has such a positive effect on your life. I hope you enjoy being a part of the MFC!!
  20. This particular part was interesting to me, too. It almost changes the whole song for me a little bit (not in a bad way, just something that makes you think).
  21. This is my new favorite of all of Mika’s music videos!! The English translation in the captions was interesting, since some of the lyrics were translated differently compared to what I’ve seen before.
  22. Like @QueenBigFat I thought you were very clear and I agree with you! I often have a hard time explaining my opinion with words, too, which surprises me sometimes because I’m a professional writer (not really the emotional or creative kind of writer, though). I like that you mention C’est la vie, because I think AC and CLV are two songs with different themes but a similar approach in using a song that feels uplifting to talk about something that is honestly painful-which I think Mika does a lot, but this album is one of his best in that way.
  23. I agree with this, especially when you consider the somewhat dreamy sound of the song. It still sounds hopeful to me because of that. There are some situations, like the 2020 lockdowns for example, where I think life changes for the worst so fast and so unexpectedly that we start to feel resigned to what is going on around us and need to find hope wherever we can get it. This song speaks to that feeling for me. It still finds a sliver of goodness where there seems to be nothing left to do but be there for the ones you love. Going back to what @ACG said, it's like a warm hug in the face of disaster and I honestly think it feels unifying. Even if the song is talking about physical love, the overall feel of the song is much deeper to me. Sometimes love or even passion could be what helps you keep going through a disaster so you can get back to hoping for and fighting for a better future. (I might be overthinking the song at this point, but that's how I feel about it, and I honestly love Apocalypse calypso because it makes me feel uplifted ) How that will translate into the tour and whether it actually will be uplifting or not I wouldn't know, since I have absolutely no experience with Mika concerts, but I'm interested to follow everyone's experiences and see how the shows pan out
