Has anyone read when the instagram live will be?

Oh gosh, what did I ask him? Don't think I can remember all of them now! Err...
- What was his inspiration and intention behind his new logo and colour scheme?
- Did he enjoy the experience of writing an album in French? Would he like to do it again?
- How did he choose which songs would be on the album? What was his artistic direction?
- How did writing the French album differ to writing in English or Italian? Does performing in French offer him a different perspective?
- Where will he tour for this album? Will he return to the UK?
- Does "Sweetie Banana" mean what we think it means?
Can't wait for tomorrow! Hope everyone gets something answered.
My question was similar to one of yours
:
How does the process of writing a song in French differ from how he writes in English?

I've sent in my question but I don't know if Mika will answer it. Who knows how many questions he'll get!

What an extraordinary tribute to someone who sounds like she was an extraordinary person. It so captures what she taught to him….and now to all of us.
Edited to add: what I see is totally about his mom and the philosophical and emotional result of her loss. From his looking at the meaning of the aging process and his questioning, to her struggles and losses (Beirut) to the things she taught him and created for him and saw about his future, to the pain and emptiness his siblings share, to questioning everything because when you are grieving your own fading or the loss of a beloved what’s the point, to: but in the light of all of this, my mother said we must still live, and celebrate life, with an exclamation point! And so that is what he is doing. Thus it is a tribute to her life, their loss, and the message she left…. Her legacy. The video enhances that message, tho there is irony in the fact that the dancing crowd does not understand the lyrics or the song (yet?) and is just there for a Mika party….and he is doing the best he can, as she inspired him to do. Yet, as someone pointed out, alone in the crowd. Those who “know” him can see what is behind his eyes. I don’t think the fans who are there are able or willing to in that moment. Or he doesn’t want to let them.
I love the melody. I am captivated and deeply moved by the brilliant lyrics. And the entire gestalt of the video—lyrics in contrast to melody (as usual!), upbeat dance (dance! Dance! Dance!) beat, venue, party atmosphere, and, above it all (literally and figuratively), Mika, smiling and entertaining his fans, rips my guts out. This may well be not what the song wants me to do, but my own feelings of compassion and affection for him make me cry. Which he does to me a lot, but this was different. I cried for him.
Regarding the importance of Mika's mom in her son's life, I wanted to give you this link in case you haven't seen the video of his second Eurovision press conference :
At 6.20 Mika and the other presenters are asked how they reacted to being asked to present Eurovision. Mika answers at 8.00 and mentions his mom twice. ❤

RTL Bonsoir
Le chanteur Mika était l'invité de Julien Sellier et toute la bande de "RTL Bonsoir !"
à l’occasion de la sortie de son nouveau single "C’est la vie".
Is there any way to add automatic subtitles?

"Jane Birkin" must have been written after Mika posted the Instagram story filmed on the bridge in Paris in which he talked about his new album.

I have seen one error in the article mentioning the last album as No Place in Heaven.
The author missed MNIMH!

Mika has changed his background photo on Twitter and Facebook
Unfortunately there are a couple of comments below his FB post of people who are using the occasion to insult Mika or complain about the cancelled shows. Why don't they just stop following him?
I was glad to see that some fans have responded appropriately.

We always love him. All the time. In any facet of our life. Do you want cinema and Mika together? Well, look at 'Kick Ass' (M. Vaughn, 2010) and we celebrate our idol @mikasounds
They could have mentioned "Tehu et Zodi" as well!

I'm glad he won't get the time to marinate for much longer. It would make him more popular in Sweden, but not so much in the rest of the world as pickled fish is one of the stinkiest food
watch this if you don't believe me..
I stopped watching when he said he was going to TASTE the fish! 😅

He’s officially adorable ❤️ what a lovely message!
Or perhaps you could say "o-fish-ally adorable" 😉
I particularly liked his calling the reforestation project "poetic" and his funny way of ending the video.
I wonder if Mika was holding on to something in the first part - it isn't easy to stand still in chest-deep water.

Hey everybody! I just want to say hello and catch up. I disconnected for about, well, 10 days and it was amazing. But I want to thank everybody for the amazing messages, the posts online, the gifts... two amazing things, which are the huge collection for UNHCR - which is way over 3000. And also the very poetic and very meaningful gift of the trees that have been planted, they've started now, and there's gonna be up to 100 of them on a plot of land in Lebanon, with the Lebanon Reforestation Initiative. I love these 2 gestures so much for so many reasons. And also so much for your generosity, all of you, so thank you for being generous and poetic and so intelligent as always, it makes me very very happy.
I've been bumbling around Greece. I turned 40 in a Taverna and it was perfect! And a few of my friends were there, my family was there and it was really good. And I'm just trying to kind of grab every single minute that I possibly can to stay in the water as much as possible because, you know, why not? And so even while I'm making this message I'm trying to make the most of this time, marinating like pickled fish. I love you all very much and although I'm quite happy to be on holiday, I do miss you all! But right now I'm happy here and I'll see you in, like, a day or two. Bye!
That was a thoughtful gesture to have transcribed Mika's video.😊

This is another Italian newspaper which announces Mika's 40th birthday. The article is short and basically reports on or reproduces parts of the Vanity Fair interview.

As I thought, the ZDF report was aired today, with the headline "Mika turns 40". They gave a little summary of his career and of course talked over his voice in the interviews, as always on German TV.
He just said something like that he wants to see the places he visits and that he started early with performing on stage and earning money gave him a sense of value, and then that he did TV in Italy, France, now UK, and "maybe maybe" some time also in Germany. I won't hold my breath for that, but it was nice to see him on German TV again today.

Probably only available in Germany but I'll try to record it & post it here.
I can see the video here in Italy
