Ceci_B Posted February 29, 2008 Share Posted February 29, 2008 So, Haley and Megan Meyer suggested that someone from the MFC make Mika a huge Valentine. Some of us agreed, and Norwalk174 and I brainstormed a bit on some possibilites. So far this is what Norwalk and I have come up with: Whoever would like to take part can make Mika a little Valentine's Day message and send it to me. The message should be typed on a word document, and should be able to fit on one side of the paper. Please don't go over one page. I know how to fold paper into hearts, so when you send them to me I'll fold the message for you in the shape of a heart. I'll print your messages out on computer paper. This is what the front could look like: If you'd like a personalized message on the font, let me know what you'd like it to say. I'll write your MFC name on the front of the message, and you can write you're real name on the inside. (But if you'd prefer me write your real name, let me know). NOTE: The Valentine's message you write will be on the inside of the heart. They will not be visible on the outside. Mika will have to open your heart to see what it says. I'll buy one of those giant heart shaped box of chocolates, and put all the messages inside. (I might take all the chocolates out of the box and give them to him seperately.) I'm going to try to replace the chocolates with the messages. Ceci_B also suggested that we send pictures, so if you'd like to send pictures, you can send it to me and I'll put everybody's pictures on a heart, and spread them out all over the front of the lid of the box. The box will say, "Be ours, Mika!" and have everybody's pictures on it. BUT we didn't get to meet him Basically, Shahd (BilyBrown) and I were there all day, and by the evening we were getting concerned cos we didn't want the box to get damaged during the concert. John had been out earlier but we wanted to wait for Mika....but by like 5pm they were doing the sound check so we thought he must be inside....so we went to the artist entrance and we asked the security guy if we could give it to John....so he said "wait a second I'll go in and ask him" so after a minute he came out and he said, "yeah any presents for Mika, John tol me to take them upstairs to him".......so that's the best we could do!! I' sorry we didn't get to meet him or record givng it to him but there was no chance......I'm sure he got it though. We knew there would be no point in waiting afterwards because they were having a champagne reception afterthe show so he wouldn't be out for hours.....so that's it......disappointingI know, but lke I say, I'm sure he got it. I'm so glad my letter, everyone else's, and alllll the BEAUTIFUL decorations and gifts finally got to Mika! It is a shame you didn't get to hand it to him, but the most important thing is it got there! Next time it will work out even better ;-) I can't thank you enough for all of your hard work, everyone involved. I wish I could have helped out more (dang over-protective mother ) ...oh well. And the hearts came out AMAZING! they look sooo pretty...I saw mine in the pictures and i basically squealed with delight! and the box just makes it even better!
