Hi, Shari, long time no see!

well, it turns out I need surgery on my neck, I'll have it done in about a month as soon as this semester is over.

Dr. said there's really no other alternative, I believe him (my mother had exact same thing)

how're you?

Aw that's too bad. But if you're having corrective surgery then it has to be a good thing, right?

I'm ok thanks, just tired and achy - as usual.

Just saw this on Beijing thread - and had to share it!!!! :roftl:

No seriously, I am.

I can't believe I'm about to do this. Mika if you're reading, you'll probably hate me forever, along with the rest of the fanclub.

However, I am laughing because personally i find it cruelly funny but i feel so sad at the same time because it's so mean.

I am so so so so so so so sorry, but everytime i look at this picture it reminds me of the picture below...

Ooh, I damaged my ribs skiing, but then about 6 months later they were still hurting and the hospital told me I might have had a hairline fracture. Then I hurt my knee a couple of weeks ago playing volleyball :)

Its all good now. Sort of.

There is nothing much they can do about ribs unfortunately - they

just have to take their time healing themselves!! :boxed:

Hope your knee gets better soon though!! :thumb_yello:

Yes, it will stop my nerve being pinched, that's always good!

It's been quite painful for about 6 months now, I've had enough.

You know what I woke up worrying about?

I'll have to wear this stiff collar for 3 months & I was worrying- what if I can't dye my hair?

My roots will really show after 3 months!!

sorry to hear you're achy- is it worse for you when it's rainy?

Can you get someone to use the root touch up stuff? That way you

could deal with them until you are ok to do it properly yourself!!

A pinched nerve can be very painful. I sympathise. Ha, you'll have to get someone to do your roots for you!. Talk about priorities, hehehe.

Yes, mostly when it's wet weather, but just lately it's been more painful as the sun has come out! Strange the human body eh?

I know. The ribs really hurt, but because I had no note from the doctor saying about it, my school made me do PE, and thats why it took so much longer to heal :(

My knee was a sprain, almost healed.

I don't know if it's the kind of collar where I could take it off for a shower, or if it MUST stay on 24/7.

I think it's the leaning over or backwards to rinse that would be the problem.

If I have a lot of time on my hands, I could always just do each strand , one by one , with a q-tip!

Yes, this is the most important thing I have to talk to the doctor about!

Yeah! but I was off for so long with different injuries they started not believing. My whole class got a lecture thanks to me :)

Fun to watch everyone glare at me.

If its a hard collar then it should be waterproof!! :thumb_yello:

So maybe you could still shower, and have your hair done that way!!

it's a cold, rainy achy day here.

we may even get more snow this weekend!

and a few days ago, people were wearing shorts.

I have a little lump on my leg where I got bitten by a horse a few years ago.

it's as good as a barometer!

Yeah, was pretty funny. Because as longas my dad tells them I can't do it, my teachers get angrier as there is nothing they can do.
