Oh, I forgot to mention.. I saw somebody down while at the shops today.

 

But he didn't see me. I would have called out (maybe) but we were both with our dads.

 

Oh and I also saw that other guy who I've mentioned before (the musical/good-looking one) but that was kind of embarrassing. I'd just taken a huge bite out of my meatball sandwich that was overflowing with lettuce and sauce when he walked around the corner. But I waved anyway. :naughty:

Umm, not really. How can I describe him? He's like the Edward Cullen of my town. :naughty: I think that at least half of the girls I know (and all of their mothers) are pretty much in love with him. He's extremely nice, intelligent, musically talented, etc. But I'm not interested in him past the amazement that such a person exists. He'll be 19 pretty soon anyway, so I think he's a little old for me.

 

But yes.. I am interested in the "other" one. :naughty::blush-anim-cl:

 

There's a guy exactly like that here! Well, he used to be like that...but ever since he graduated he's just been festering at home, even though if he had any motivation he could be famous by now.

I remember when I was a wee lass, I had a betty spaghetti doll that was "australian" and had a backpack and hat and koala.

 

T'was fun.

 

BETTY SPAGHETTI! Lordy, I remember her! I think I had two, back in the day.

 

The only trouble is, I don't want him to gnaw on any of the cords under the heater, so it looks like we're gonna have to put out a trap.

 

Aww, I hate mousetraps...but we have to put them out, because they get into all the food. I don't think they live in the walls, but one will find its way in every now and then...and our cat is useless, she just sits around all the time. I hate finding the poor little thing with its head stuck in there...or worse, if it's only got one leg caught and is still alive...

It's so quick though, at least they don't feel anything.

We had a good mouser, but she wasn't ours, we were just minding her while her owner tried to find her a permanent home. Oh and the whole time we had her, we were under the impression she was a he. That's what her owner had told us. Then when the owner came and collected her and went to have her desexed she found out a) the cat was already done and b) it had been a girl cat. The name still worked though... Max.

Re: Mousetraps ... we use mouse friendly one's ... you can buy them from hardware stores ... they are plastic, like a little tunnel & the mouse steps in to get the food & then can't get out ... but it's not hurt ... you have to check them & then release them AWAY from your house ! :wink2::thumb_yello:

I really hope the guy here doesn't end up doing that. He deserves to do well and he certainly has more than enough talent to become famous or do anything else. According to my mum he's studying jazz and anthropology at uni, so that's good. :thumb_yello:

I really like the idea, but I live in suburbia and if I do that, the mice just become someone else's problem.

I have a friend who is one of the tutors in anthropology. She's doing her Masters or her PhD. I can never remember which one she's doing and which Uni she's doing it at....

Why don't you get a cat of your own?

They are lovely animals:wub2:and the mouse problem would be solved, even if the cat doesn't catch and eat the mouse I believe the smell of cat would keep the mouse away!

All days are going good, tiring but good. Today we went bowling ft crazy cows (drinks) and no bumpers *sneaky2*

 

Then we went to timezone and shot each other (laser wars) and ran each other off the road (dodgem cars x 2) and chased after each other with clubs (mini golf) before stuffing ourselves in hot air balloon booths with yummy pancakes (pancakes in paradise ft shunned service) </P>
