Every Doctor down in Whoville liked Mika a lot.

But the Grinch who lived just North of Whoville did not!

 

The Grinch hated Mika! The whole album-release season!

Now, please don't ask why. No one quite knows the reason.

 

It could be, perhaps, that his shoes were too tight.

It could be his head wasn't screwed on just right.

 

But I think that the most likely reason of all

May have been that his heart was two sizes too small.

 

But, whatever the reason, his heart or his shoes,

He stood there on TOOL day hating the Doctors,

 

Staring down from his cave with a sour, Grinchy frown

At the warm lighted windows below in their town,

 

For he knew every Doctor down in Whoville beneath

Was busy now hanging a "Love You When I'm Drunk" wreath.

 

"And they're hanging their doormat belts," he snarled with a sneer.

"Tomorrow is The Origin of Love! It's practically here!"

 

Then he growled, with his Grinch fingers nervously drumming,

"I must find some way to keep TOOL from coming!

 

For, tomorrow, I know all the Doctors and companions

Will wake bright and early. They'll rush for their stereos!

 

And then! Oh, the noise! Oh, the noise! Noise! Noise! Noise!

There's one thing I hate! All the NOISE! NOISE! NOISE! NOISE!

 

Then the Doctors, young and old, will sit down to a feast.

And they'll feast! And they'll feast! And they'll FEAST! FEAST! FEAST! FEAST!

 

They'll feast on Lebanese food, and rare roast Reindeer,

Raw roast Reindeer is a feast I can't stand in the least!

 

And then they'll do something I hate most of all!

Every Doctor down in Whoville, the tall and the small,

 

They'll stand close together, with Underwater playing.

They'll stand hand-in-hand, and those Doctors will start singing!"

Doctor: Stardust! I didn't realize you felt that way about me.

Mika: Stardust isn't about you.

Doctor: But what about the lyric "the TARDIS rushing by . . ."

Mika: That's "the time goes rushing by."

Doctor: But "You were the thunder, I was the rain" is clearly a reference to our disastrous picnic on the stormy weather planet. I don't know why you blamed me for . . .
