Mika : "Ice Cream", son nouveau titre sexy à la production plus audacieuse

 

RENCONTRE - Ce titre signe le grand retour du chanteur Mika, quatre ans après son précédent disque, "No place in Heaven". Son prochain album sortira en octobre 2019.

 

Après son premier disque à succès Life in Cartoon Motion en 2007, Mika revient sur devant de la scène avec un nouvel album attendu dans les bacs en octobre 2019. Mais avant cette sortie, le chanteur dévoile un premier titre, Ice Cream, vendredi 31 mai 2019. 

Un titre sexy à la production plus audacieuse. Moins sucré, plus tendu que ce à quoi il nous avait habitué. Mika raconte pour RTL comment cette chanson est née. "C'était à la fin de l'été, il faisait très chaud, je me suis mis dehors et pendant 10 minutes, j'ai écris une sorte de poème par rapport à tous les malaises de la chaleur [...] J'ai écris ce délire de la chaleur, c'est moins bubblegum et plus enfant terrible et je pense que pour un mec qui a 35 ans c'est plutôt la bonne direction."

 

Entre les rythmes secs et intenses, la légende Prince semblent se dessiner : "Il y a de l'influence Prince quand on pense à la pop qui fait danser qu'il provoque en général, évidemment, je suis tombé dans ce genre là et je pense que c'est bien", concède-t-il. "Je n'avais pas écris depuis 2 ans, je ne savais pas ce que je voulais exprimer, alors évidemment j'ai continué avec The Voice, ça m'a donné une sorte de protection pour pouvoir me redécouvrir", se souvient-il.

ENCOUNTER - This title marks the great return of the singer Mika, four years after his previous record, "No place in Heaven". His next album will be released in October 2019.

 

After his debut hit Life in Cartoon Motion in 2007, Mika returns to the front of the stage with a new album expected in the bins in October 2019. But before this release, the singer unveils a first title, Ice Cream, Friday, May 31 2019.

 

A sexy title to more daring production. Less sweet, more tense than he had used to. Mika tells RTL how this song was born.

"It was late summer, it was very hot, I went out and for 10 minutes, I wrote a kind of poem about all the discomfort of the heat [...] J I write this delirium of the heat, it's less bubblegum and more terrible child and I think that for a guy who is 35 years old it's rather the right direction. "

 

Between the dry and intense rhythms, the legend Prince seem to be drawn: "There is influence  Prince  when we think of the pop that makes dance that it causes in general, obviously, I fell in this kind there and I think it's good, "he concedes. "I had not written for 2 years, I did not know what I wanted to express, so obviously I continued with The Voice, it gave me a kind of protection to be able to rediscover me," he recalls.
