Orchestrée par Antoine de Caunes, la première édition des Olympia Awards aura lieu en direct le mercredi 11 décembre avec des invités exceptionnels : LIAM PAYNE, ancien membre du groupe interplanétaire One Direction et MIKA se produiront, tous les deux, en direct, sur la scène mythique de l’Olympia.

Lors de cette soirée inédite, un Award d’Honneur sera également remis à Catherine Ringer à l’occasion des 40 ans de la création des « Rita Mitsouko » !

Orchestrated by Antoine de Caunes, the first edition of the Olympia Awards will be held live on Wednesday, December 11 with exceptional guests: LIAM PAYNE, former member of the interplanetary group One Direction and MIKA will perform, both, live on the stage mythical of the Olympia.

Plusieurs artistes viendront ponctuer la soirée qui, loin d’être un défi lé de remise de prix, constituera une vraie émission de télévision. Liam Payne, l’un des anciens membres du groupe One direction sera là à l’occasion de la sortie de son 1er album solo LP1 (Capitol).

Mika sera présent pour assurer la promotion de son nouvel album My Name is Michael Holbrook (Barclay) et évoquer sa tournée actuelle qui passe par l’AccorHôtels Arena, le 22 décembre prochain. Des duos inédits et de performances d’humour en live complèteront le programme. Une large place sera surtout laissée à Catherine Ringer qui recevra un Award d’Honneur à l’occasion des 40 ans de la création des Rita Mitsouko qu’elle célèbre actuellement en tournée et à l’Olympia les 28 et 29 avril prochains. L’intégralité des albums remasterisés des Rita Mitsouko vient de ressortir chez Because. Une soirée très classe, une sorte de juste milieu entre les NRJ Music Awards et Les victoires de la musique.
