dcdeb
I know that we've been talking about Covid restrictions, mask mandates, testing protocols, etc. in the various gig threads, but I thought maybe it would make sense to put all the info in a central location, now that the dates are fast-approaching. I'll start and if you think of or know any better resources drop them here! Please and thank you! For those entering the US from abroad, I think this is the most reliable source of travel info: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/traveladvisories/covid-19-travel-information.html This page from the Centers for Disease Control will also be helpful -- it was updated March 3, but watch for more updates: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/proof-of-vaccination.html For US citizens traveling to Canada: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/international-travel-during-covid19.html https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid/travel-restrictions/covid-vaccinated-travellers-entering-canada And for US citizens traveling within the US: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/travel-during-covid19.html 2
holdingyourdrink
For those outside of the US need to apply for the ESTA, please check the website if this applies to you: https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov You can apply for it in advance, saves you trouble and time upon landing/entry! Concerning Europeans in possession of a EU COVID QR code. This is valid upon entry to the US, as well as the venues in Boston (Roadrunner) and NYC (King’s Theater). DISCLAIMER: I have not asked other venues of the North American tour if they apply there as well. If you want to make sure, please contact the venue to ask in advance. Concerning traveling: it will be helpful to print out the attestation (which can be found here: https://www.cdc.gov/quarantine/fr-proof-negative-test.html) and take it with you, filled out, on the plane. It serves as a checklist to make sure you have all the right documentation.
