You should have a security number on the back of the card. Its the last 3 digits printed on the strip that you sign your name on. If you don't have these you should contact your bank asap and get an updated card.

Once you enter your donation details and click to pay you get taken to paypal. At the bottom of there should be an option to just pay with a card instead of a paypal account

Ok, you deffo have a paypal account set up somewhere with your card listed on it. You or a family member at least. Try going to their lost password area and getting your details emailed to you or try searching through your emails on your computer for "paypal" and see if you have your account details already

Nope, tried to go through without and this keeps popping up:

Now what's the point of trying NOT to use PayPal then And my email has never been entered there, I created it a month ago when I got a new computer

It's ok, you should be able to go through without needing a paypal account at all. Thanks to those that have already donated!

You can donate as much as you like as often or as little as you like

Memberships will come in the future, maybe, but I want to keep everything free and "level" for as long as possible. This way, any payments to help support the site are optional and everyone gets the same stuff. Donators will get a donator status if required and a higher "rank" in the future, especially if memberships did come in

I like the memberships idea too, but I want to leave them out for as long as possible

After the long talk we all had over the last 2 days, lets skip the memberships side of things for now and just open up donations for the time being.

Don't worry, I will not be making things THAT different for people. It will mainly revolve around ads and status along with the newsletters and freebies.

Think of it this way. The site will remain as is with a sprinkle of adverts.

For those that pay, they will get a few extras, no adverts, and have the warm feeling of helping out I will never force anyone to pay for what we already have as its too great to miss out on!

2) Small ads for registered members (as you currently are)

3) No ads and a load of extra features and bits for paid VIPs
