  1. there is 2.5cm to an inch and there are 12 inches in a foot! hope that helps!

And for future note, you can convert things in a google search. E.g. type:

    12 foot in inches

into the search box of google and it will give you the answer :)

That works for weight, distance, volume, calculations etc etc ;)

  2. Hey all!

Just got back from exhibition. Only been gone since yesterday morning and there are hundreds and hundreds of posts for me to go through.

I have approved all the uploaded pics. Some of you uploaded the same ones so I just approved one version of each randomly. I have also approved attachments and a new download too. Will be handing these powers out to guinchogirl so you wont need to always wait for me ;)

Sounds like you all had a great time. Was really fun listening to guinchogirl talk about it when she got back, am so gutted I couldn't go, but I will see you all at the Brighton gig! :)

Real shame about the camera, but moreso the pics, but, we are the fan club and I get the mails for these exclusive events early so I am sure we will all get an intimate gig again soon at which I will be with my 3 cameras :)

  3. Starting to show how technically un-minded (Yeah so what if I just invented a word use) they are being with promotions. Ringtones that don't work, not enough instructions, and from the sound of things they have not even put the 'lock' flag on to stop people bluetoothing them around etc. Tut tut tut

Couple this with the often not working secret society and chunky flash site and it's not going so well. No wonder we have 3 times the users of mikasounds forums etc lol ;)

All joking aside, I was hoping to guide them on these things and help them fix it all up into a smooth opteration that they could even take to their other artists, alas, they don't want me now lol :)

Good luck with the ring tone though :)

  4. Comeback group Take That are reportedly lining up pop's hot new talent Mika to support them on their forthcoming European tour.

Gary, Howard, Jason and Mark are apparently planning a string of shows that will match last year's sold out UK tour - and they think the Beirut-born singer would be the perfect support slot.

The 23-year-old's debut outing, Grace Kelly, bounced to the top of the charts on Sunday on the strength of downloads alone and is poised to stay at No 1 next week after the CD hits shops on Monday.

  5. Shop has been removed. Seems a leaked internal email going around Universal said they were not impressed with it so I pulled it as I don't wish to step on any toes. The only real problem is that there seems to be a lack of any official merchandise for everyone to wear to support Mika at the upcoming gigs etc. No doubt there will be stuff for sale there, but Universal have gone quiet on me since the meeting the other week which is a shame :(

Anyway, more news as I get it, but for now I wont be putting any Mika stuff up for sale so we don't run into any issues. Additionally, to the one person who got the "heart" top, you may have just purchased what will become the rarest bit of Mika merchandise in history :)

  6. There's exciting news about another chance to see Mika Live, particularly if you haven't been lucky enough to get a ticket for one of Mika's tour dates. As part of the T-Mobile Street Gigs series, Mika will be launching this year's series by performing an exclusive free gig for T-Mobile customers on February 5th.

The gig will take place in London's Berkeley Square and promises to be a real spectacle as, for one night only, the square will be transformed into a circus top!

If you are a T-Mobile customer you will be able to officially register for tickets on Wednesday 24th January.

However, thanks to mikasounds.com you lot, the Mika Fans, regardless of what network you are on, will have the opportunity to win tickets before registration officially opens. We are pleased to announce that we have successfully secured a handful of passes that can be won exclusively by Mika fans. All you have to do is send an e-mail with the subject heading of "T-Mobile Street Gigs" to mikasounds@yahoo.co.uk with your name, email address and mobile number by 5pm on Wednesday 24th January. We will pick 20 lucky winners who will each receive 2 tickets. Winners will be contacted by the end of Thursday. Happy hunting!
