I'm editing the first post to include the event RSVP right now! I was so excited last night I forgot to make one! Thanks for making one.

Aww. I'm going to this show alone! I only bought one ticket. I'm not even going to try to get someone to come to this show with me this time. I bought two tickets for the NYC show and no one wanted to join me. I was even willing to just give the ticket away for free. But I got no offers. My extra ticket just went to waste. But it wasn't too bad to go to the show alone. I meet some new friends while waiting in line. Plus I had a blast waiting with some fellow MFCers. They kept a lot of company. I'm hoping some of you guys will keep me company in line at his show too.

I hope to see you guys at the show. I had such a blast in NYC! And the link that I got through the club's mailer to purchase tickets today was part of the "soft-sale" which I think is almost like a pre-sale for the e-mail subscribers. The show hasn't been officially announced on the 9:30 Club's website yet.

I'm subscribed to the 9:30 Club's mailing list, which is a very popular venue in Washington, D.C. I've actually been there a couple of times and I love it! Anyway, my point is I just recieved an email from the 9:30 club tonight and it lists MIKA headlining a show on June 12th at 7:30pm!! Tickets aren't on sale quite yet but when they do go on sale you can buy them through this site, not ticketmaster: http://www.tickets.com/browseother.cgi?minpid=5990704 I thought I'd give you guys a heads up. I know at least one member has been waiting for a DC show! I'm so excited! I really want to go to this show!!! I really, really, really loved this! Mika's reactions were to the objects seemed so cute and honest. Plus he mentioned how he loves The Tao of Pooh! I absolutely love that book too. It's a favorite of mine. I wonder if he also read the Te of Piglet?

I was wondering that myself! Giedrusia and the photographers were right behind me. But both photographers left only after the first song. Thanks for posting the article, dcdeb! This is going in my scrapbook about the show. I'm a little annoyed the writer got a couple of the song names incorrect among a few of his other comments.

I am seriously going through withdrawals. I keep reviewing my pics and video clips of the show. Plus I haven't been off the forum for more than a couple hours. I do hope Mika reads what we all thought of the NYC show!!I wonder what he'd think of all of our reactions? Do you think he'd smile? I bet he'd smile.

If MIKA comes anywhere near me this summer (Philly, Baltimore, DC, and NYC again) I am so there!! I had way too much fun at the show on Thursday. I think I am completely addicted now. I need another Mika fix soon!

I'd definitely love to meet up with you and Giedre again at another show! Hopefully it will be in June! I had such a blast at this show! You girls both seem so kind and lots of fun.

Thanks!! Love Today was definitely a favorite performance of mine. I loved how he really got the crowd into it. It started off slow but grew into this high energy number. And I completely loved every second. He really knows how to work the crowd. I wish I took some pictures of Mika while he was signing my set list. I'll just have to live off of my photographically memories. But it all happened so quickly! Perhaps next time I'll be lucky enough get a photo. I can be a little shy. Still, I am very pleased with the signed set list. I did, afterall, watch him sign it for me and I'm very grateful.

^ That made me giggle! For all we know he could still be in Mexico. Guess we'll have to see if any more news of his whereabouts surfaces.

Awesome pictures!! I'm so happy for you. I can't believe that he remembered you! I wish I could have went to the in-store too! Oooh and there will be some more shows in June!! I can't wait!! I've got to see him live again.

My video clips are all finally uploaded!! All of them seem to be working great except for Ring Ring. I'll post that one when it decides to work! It's a shame my camera can't hold more than seven minutes of video or else I would have taken many more clips! I'll be better prepared next time. Like I said the audio on most is pretty weak and you can hear the crowd singing around me. RELAX Big Girl My Interpretation Stuck In The Middle Love Today This is my favorite, favorite video that I shot. I don't know what it is. It could be that it's one of my favorite songs or simply just for the last couple seconds. Grace Kelly Very, very short. But it's still sweet. I ran out of memory towards the end of the show. But I wasn't too worried I knew someone else had to be capturing all of this.

I finished reading the entire thread and looked at your photos, Jamie. I think the photo of you and MIKA came out beautifully! You both look lovely!! And aren't you glad I came prepared and had that marker handy? I finally posted a few of my pictures from the show in the NY show thread!!! Everyone should go look at them...or I could just post them here too. lol Mika didn't write my name when he signed my set list. But I completely understand. I am just SO grateful he took the time to sign it at all. I distinctly recall him asking me directly "Want me to sign that for you,love?":wub2: What a sweetheart! My signed set list and one of the rosette pins I bought.

I believe I had the best view of his trail!! I mean I wasn't exactly looking for it but I was so close to him that when I looked up it was all I could see!! Oh and Jamie I think by now you know I was the other girl hanging with Giedrusia_NY! I love your big mouth! lol Without it my set list would be Mika signature-less and I would not have met him so briefly.

No!! I haven't seen them yet. I haven't posted or looked anywhere else on the forum today besides this thread. I've got to check them out! I'm in the process of uploading my video clips. Youtube is being a little slow and it cuts off a second or so of each clip. I'll post the links when all of my clips are up! The sound on most of them is a bit weak even though I was directly in front. I'm not sure why. I think I may have hit a button on my camera. Oh well they are still definitely worth a view! Love Today and Grace Kelly are my favorite video clips even though they are so short. I did,however, get all of my photos uploaded!! Here are a few: This was during RELAX. After this song things began to heat up and MIKA removed his sweatshirt. I'm certain this was during Big Girl as well as the picture following. During My Interpretation. Jamie it was awesome meeting you too! I'm only sorry we didn't get to met until after the show. You were so nice as well! Oh and I am VERY glad that girl tipped us off about MIKA being around the corner. I thought for sure he'd come out the front. Very sneaky of him! I'm not sure if he definitely said "kill" but he did say something to that effect since he stopped to get out and speak to us! I'll post my pics and vids as soon as possible! Oh before I'm off uploading... There is another story about the show to tell! I think this one is kind of awesome. After the show, Gierdre and I were waiting downstairs by the coat check and merchandise tables. We were leaning against one of the tall tables talking about the show and exclaiming how wonderful it was. We were also reviewing our pics/vids. Then almost out of nowhere (it seemed out of nowhere since the both of us were so engaged with talk of the show we didn't notice at first!) a man came over to us and began asking about the show. At first I thought it was a guard from the venue who was coming to take my camera away since they weren't permited! LOL. But the man had an English accent and he told us that he plays guitar with one of Mika's guitarists. He also mentioned how he just flew from London to NYC that night and came directly to the show. He was so very nice and friendly! He asked what we thought of the show. I told him it was "Amazing!" And then he asked "What is it about Mika that you love?" I told him how much I loved Mika's personality on-stage and the energy he displayed when he performs. I said there isn't anyone out now like him and how that was a good thing. I also think I mentioned how fun his music is as well! The friend/associate of Mika's seemed very pleased to here this. He said he'd be sure to tell Mika!! Then the nice man confirmed how Mika does in fact read the forum! The man didn't say how often or anything like that. But I trust his word. He even asked Gierdre and I our names on the forum cause he was going to ask if he'd recognize out names! It was a bit hard to tell him cause of all of the chatter and noise. So luckily I had a notepad and paper handy in my bag. Gierdre wrote down both of our screen names and I believe a little message to Mika as well. The man thanked us and said he'd pass the note along to Mika before putting it inside his pocket. Then we said out goodbyes and I said how nice it was to meet him. After that, the man was off. I didn't catch his name. And I hope I got all of the information correct. I'm sure Giedre can confirm somethings that I missed or wasn't sure of. I'd hate for that man or even Mika to be reading this right now and I look like such a fool for getting the story wrong!

I made it home safe and sound! I got home around 3am but I didn't actually sleep from all of the excitement until about 4am. I only just woke up about an hour ago. I'm so glad I was able to sleep in today. It was so wonderful meeting a couple of you guys! I've met up with people from other forums but no one was as nice or as sweet as you guys - especially, Giedrusia!! I had an awesome time waiting in line you with you. Thanks for keeping me company! I didn't have anyone to wait in line with. But I'm glad I made a few friends. You really helped make the experience all the more sweeter. Oh and I don't know if they'll make it to the forum but Greg and Timothy if you are reading this thanks for keeping me company in line too. You guys were awesome and so kind! I was standing directly in front of MIKA!! I was the first person to actually be let in to the stage area so I definitely secured an excellent spot. I was generally amazed at home close I was. All I had to do was look up and he was standing right there! It was a such lovely view. It was hard to keep my eyes off of him! I completely snuck my camera in. I hid it in my chest. There was no way I was going to check it or my jacket. I knew it would be a mess afterwards. But since I was so close I just put my jacket and bag in front of me on stage. At first I was apprehensive about taking pictures. I was trying to be discreet. But I really wanted photos to remember the show by. I did have the flash off.b But one I noticed I wasn't the only one I loosened up. I had no trouble taking pictures. I think I took a lot of good shots! I even took several video clips. Some of the sound on them I noticed is a bit weak. I'm not sure why. Usually the sound quality on my camera is great. Oh well the footage itself is still amazing. My favorite by far is the clip I shot of Love Today. You guys will see why soon! Oh and I grabbed a copy of the set list - the set list in front of MIKA's microphone stand to be exact. I'll post a picture of it later! I even got it signed afterwards. And he was just so sweet about it. I didn't even ask. He asked me! He said "Want me to sign that for you, love?" And then he did! I know our meeting was very, very brief but he was so kind in those few brief moments. He was so relaxed and soft spoken(even though I'm sure he was exhausted!). I remember him saying (or something like this) before he got out of the car to speak to us all and sign things that "They're going to kill me for this!" I thought that was very nice of him to stop when he didn't have to and it would make him late to wherever he had to go next -the after-party I'm assuming. I'll post them when I get them all up!! I had such an amazing time. I can't stress that enough. This was definitely one of the most enjoyable and memorable concerts I've ever been too. I just made it home! I am exhausted! But I just had to make a post here before bed.... The show was absolutely incredible!!!! Everything was just wonderful. I've never been to such a show with that type of energy and love from the crowd. I loved every minute! I couldn't stop smiling all night. In fact I am still smiling! I'll post more about the show and other details later! And I'll post the copy of the set list I scored, pictures and video clips I took as well!! Right now I must rest! But Mika,if you do read this know that I really appreciate your music more so then ever after seeing you perform with such energy and high spirits! Thanks for a truly memorable night of fun!

I read that review of the venue last night! I hope the author won't make an appearance. He was so negative towards Mika and the theater. I don't think we need any negative vibes tonight. Alright, I need to stop posting. I've got to get ready. I am in such a wonderful mood!
