  1. BloEmPje , I LOVE your concert list! We've got very similar music tastes! Especially Mraz and Gavin DeGraw! I'm so jealous you've seen James Morrison a few times. I really love him. I'm even jealous you've see Paolo Nutini and The Kooks. I've just gotten into them these past few months!! mandilambi, I definitely think I'm going to start to make a separate concert book with all of the geeky details. I should start with the MIKA show next week! I love seeing everybody's lists! It's very interesting and cool to see what shows everyone has been to.
  2. I'll save you a spot if I arrive before you, Giedrusia_NY! My sister can't make the show so now I'm dragging my mother along with me. This should be fun. My Mom has never been to a concert with me before. Only 8 days to go!! I'm soooo excited.
  3. mandilambi, That's awesome! You are much geekier than me. I keep my ticket stubs and setlists of some of the shows I've been to in my scrapbook. I don't have a separate "concert book." I never even thought to save reviews and article clippings about the shows too! Perhaps I should start!
  4. Oooh what a fun thread! I always keep track of the concerts I've attended with all of the details! 5. I'm not sure what the row and seat number on the tickets are for. I noticed that on my pair as well. Everywhere I've read about the show lists it as general admission. Even on the tickets themselves it reads "GEN ADM STANDING" at the very top. So, I don't think the row and seat numbers mean anything. I plan on arriving at the theatre around 5pm. That is if I leave my house early enough and we don't get lost! I desperately want to secure a good spot in the front! I'm not sure if there will be a huge line or not. I'm always worried about that for general admission shows. I really don't mind waiting in line for a couple hours before doors open. I've waited much longer for other musicians. Besides waiting is always half the fun! Is anyone else planning on bringing a camera? I've a got a nice digital camera and would love to take some photos and possibly some video clips to share afterwards!
  6. This thread is amusing!! I love it! You all are so crazy...in a lovely way of course! I didn't even know tamagotchis were still around! I used to have two of those things many years ago when I was about 11 or 12. They were extremely popular back then and everyone kept insisting on buying me one as a gift. I don't remember whatever happened to them...I guess I just lost interest and I gave them away. Horrible "mother" I was! But now I think that interest has been sparked again. I can't imagine why...
  7. I live in DE. I have to travel about three hours to see MIKA in NYC but I know it will definitely be so worth it!! I really can't wait. I am most looking forward to this show.
  8. I bought mine on March 1st as well! Your tickets should be coming any day now. I wouldn't worry just yet. I'd definitely worry by the 25th if you still haven't received anything.
  9. Before MIKA in my world there was Jason Mraz!! I still love him lots! I can't very well throw away four years of my music obsession that easily. After discovering Mika I have found I haven't been listening to Mraz or posting on his official forum (RKOP) quite as much. Mika's music is much more exciting and definitely newer to me. I feel like I'm cheating or having an affair or something. Sssh don't tell.
  10. Aww that was a very cute interview!! I just love his personality! Thanks for sharing! I don't know what I'd do without this lovely forum to keep me up to date with all things Mika!
  11. My tickets just arrived in the mail this afternoon!! Now I don't have to worry about them getting lost. I actually didn't expect them to arrive so soon but I'm glad they did! It was a nice surprise.
  12. I only just noticed the date listed on Mika's myspace a few days ago too. I'm so glad I found out about it before then. I probably wouldn't have it if wasn't for this lovely, informative forum.
  13. So now that this show is sold out is anyone else besides myself even more excited?! I've been counting down the days until the show. I am looking forward to it so much!:-D
  14. Aww finally Mika wil be on TV over here! I must remember to those dates so I can stay up late or in the case of Good Morning America (which I can't stand) wake up early!!
  15. I had a feeling that show would sell out! I'm SO glad I bought my tickets the day I found out about the show last week. I'm excited!!
  16. The same goes for me! It would be wonderful to get a picture with him and even better if I got a hug! I'm so excited for the show. I'm counting down the days as well. I plan on bringing a camera with me to take some pics and hopefully some video clips.
  17. My cell phone is a Sanyo 6600 Katana Cherry Blossom (pink). It's basically Sprint's version of the razr. You can view a picture of it here. Currently my ringtone is Grace Kelly but I'm considering making it Ring Ring.
  18. Oh wow! Thank you so much for uploading Erase! I really love it!! Amazon.com doesn't list the US track listing for Life In Cartoon Motion but bestbuy.com does... US track listing: 1. Grace Kelly 2. Lollipop 3. My Interpretation 4. Love Today 5. Relax, Take It Easy 6. Ring Ring 7. Any Other World 8. Billy Brown 9. Big Girl (You Are Beautiful) 10. Stuck In The Middle 11. Erase 12. Happy Ending 13. Over My Shoulder The order seems exactly the same as Canada's but is Over My Shoulder really listed as a separate track and not hidden? I'm happy both Ring Ring and Erase are included as part of the album and not bonuses! I can't wait to have a hard copy of this album!!
  19. I just purchased my tickets from ticketmaster! It's official now. I'm going. I can't believe it. I managed to persuade my sister into coming along with me! She has no idea what she's in for.... I'm SO excited!! I can't wait!!
  20. Aww. I'd love to go to this NYC show in March!! I've been wanting to see Mika live in action for weeks. I mapquested the venue and I'm a little over 2 hours away. Tickets aren't expensive at all a mere $15. But transportation is a problem for me. It's always a problem. Hmm I wonder if I can persuade a friend or two to come with....
  21. I'm relieved to know that other people are having the same problem with the Secret Society myspace page! I've been waiting for weeks and haven't been accepted or denied either. It's so strange. I hope we all get accepted soon! I want to know what exactly is on the page...I remember a few months ago before it was set to private there was a ton of content there.
  22. Currently I really, really love Ring Ring. I can't get it out of my head!
  23. ^ I just caught that..Grr. Still awesome to view anyway!!
  24. I haven't gotten a hard copy of the album...yet. But I have listened to all of the tracks! I looove it. I'm considering buying the album through amazon.com as an import until it is officially released here next month....
  25. I should be working....But it's snowing and I didn't have to come in tonight. So, browsing the forum it is. Not a terrible way to be wasting time now, is it?
