oh sorry to interrupt but i came in a bit late... YAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR FD!

the current emo fad in america consists of: unhappy, brooding boys with tight jeans, eyeliner and punky tshirts. my school is speckled with them. emo-ers are infamous for taking pictures in front of a mirror, looking off to the side (NEVER into the camera!) instead of setting it on auto-time. it is also rare to see both eyes of an emo guy, as his sideswept hair is usually covering one of them. i find some emo boys cute, too...don't know why though.. here are some "emo" hairstyles: (well, the third one is just there cause it's funny!)

i never knew what chavs were until coming to MFC, haha my friend's cousin visited from UK. i tried a british accent on him but he said i sounded too..posh? whatever that means...

aw any time! : wow, it's incredibly fun to read about everyone's culture- and from your own mouths...so all frilly facts and wrong assumptions are put away, leaving the real, interesting stuff! every single post is so interesting! hahaha i have the biggest urge to spend the rest of the afternoon replying to all your posts now this is stuff we'd never have learned in geography class.

i'm deffo not the first to notice that MFC is full of wonderful people from all over the world! so many different countries, lifestyles, cultures...all coming together to share a common love....cool, isn't it? so let's take advantage of this opportunity, i'd say, and say a bit about our own country/culture. any random tidbits at all! it would be really interesting to hear. :] ______________________________________________________________ ok so me first... well, i'm living in canada but i'm of indian heritage. a random tidbit about canadian culture? well, we say "ay" a lot. but we don't live in igloos or wear moccasins, contrary to popular belie, and we have the most gorgeous natural landscapes ever! AND we are bilingual. but canadian french apparently sounds really stupid to parisians and a random tidbit about the indian culture, too? well, we love to accessorize , we are very colorful, have incredibly spicy yummy food...and apparently, our bollywood film industry makes the most movies worldwide. hm- never knew that myself.. oh, and 99% of indian parents want their kids to become doctors or engineers. it's an unwritten fact! _________________________________________________________ well there you go! you don't have to say as much as i did- that was a bit of a ramble, lol ... but anything at all is always interesting.

yerr i agree- you get sorta sensitive to that as an mfc mika fan... in the first few weeks, i couldn't stop listening to LICM or non-stop raving about him and popping OVer my Shoulder and Love Today into everyone's players for them to listen, lmaaaooo but i think i've calmed down now, if that's possible!

gooood....coz you've got a lot of walking to do! but i suspect you'll be dancing most of the way...

you know what i realized? we need rehab tips. MFC rehab tips coz it's 2 pm and i still havent eaten lunch yet ok tip number 1: keep all good-smelling food with a 1 m radius of you so that you can be tempted enough to leave the comp and EAT it!
