I am happy for those who went this was as promising as it sounded.
sigh, one gig I'd have LOVED to see..
thanks for reports, pics and vids
-
the interview is great and full of thngs I personally had never heard before. thanks a lot for posting.
is it only me who thinks he looks like tim curry in RHPS in the article photo..?
-
i don't like the shoes, but our boy's a classy guy and i didnt expect anything less than personalised shoes from him..
-
I remember he said the one with the naked teddy was a present from a belgian designer/stylist, a friend of his.
inside connected, as usual..

no, andy was nowhere to be seen those days, it's a cameraman from deejay TV, the show was filmed and will be aired.
oh, it totally looked like andy from the distance..
thanks for the link to the photos: you can see some of us on those too
and to see them again, recalls me what an amazing jacket he wore...
BTW, I remember those 2 guys from the party: this was in the hall after the gig and was talking to some mika fans. he is very small LOL he looked nice and down to earth.
and this (on the left) http://www.deejay.it/dj/multimedia/dettaglio/type-F/idMedia-1306/La-festa-di-Deejay-Tv?skipPhoto=17&skipComment=1 was walking outside the venue before we were let in to see mika.
stars hunting
Last time I saw Andy it was a the Bloomsbury Ballroom gig, and before that he was at Scala and at the pub night, but he wasn'tfilming at any of these events. I think that he was just there as Mika's friend, like the rest of the gang.I haven't seen him film since Sadler's Wells if I remember correctly, and even there it was just from a contained setting, not filming fans like he used to do in the past .
true. when I saw him last it was at franco parenti and he was just filming very little with handy camera before the gig, the fans and so on, chatting relaxed with mrs P

Woah, I would be really nervous if I had to perform so closely to the audience. Lucky fans
you can see some of us
yes, it was magic:blush-anim-cl:
do I spot a certain cameraman behind the curtain..?

That's great! I'll check that out.
Oh, and I was at the optometrist yesterday, flipping through a magazine, when I spotted some rainbow looking blazers from Liz Claiborne. It was from the September 2009 issue, I'm not sure if they have the collection still in stores. But here's how it looks on the site.
oh god, that jacket is amazing!!! too bad it's mostly orangish and it clashes horribly with my red hair.. but very very nice find!!
and the swatch is very sweet

You're right ... If you compare the websites it looks exactly the same, only on the italian one there are less products ...
isn't it typical?
it's all right, anyway. just found out other nationalities versions ship abroad and some for a reasonable amount of money. so I 'll stick to that.
thanks for the heads up
-
absolutely not your fault.
I just cannot find the calendar in the italian version. will keep looking. thx, bienie
-
Yes, online.
But I think it's a "company" from where I live, don't know if they ship to other countries .. But it's http://www.extrafilm.com, only available in dutch & french as far as I know .. I'll see if I can find anything about other countries
Edit; wich country do you live? Maybe you're lucky
I live in italy
thx for the help
-
Well, original it costs 12.99 euro from where I've ordered it. But there was an action that you got 50% discount so I only paid 6.50 euro for it
ohhhh... online, or there where you live? if online, do you mind passin on the link..?
-
Thanks
may I ask how much did you pay to have it printed and bound?
here it costs a fortune.. :boxed:I have done it anyway for the past yrs
-
i also heard that but that's the reply i got
well, that's surely good new! hope they changed their policy.

ringmaster jacket update: there's actually a ringmaster jacket at zara, euro 59 and stm.
it's very nice, with golden buttons and stuff, the only problem is it seems it's made to be left open and not buttoned up, which is not my cup of tea.
it's dark grey/dark blue (couldn't really find out at the neon light.. ).
just in case anyone's interested.
-
nice result, bienie!

I will be sleeping because I have to go to work the following morning , but just to let you know, they close Victoria station around 12 and they only open it when the trains come in, so they open at 1, 2, and then sometime later so that people can go in to take the train, but nobody is allowed to stay in the station.
London Bridge is open all night though .
speaking of victoria: sara, do you know at what time the trains to stansted start in the morning..?

Hi
The Mika tickets will not be mailed until after Christmas.
We will send you an e-mail as soon as your order has been mailed.
Kind regards
Helen@sandbag
i sent an email to them asking...
i'm more impatient than you i sent this about a week after i bought them
K xxx
that's good news, cause at first it seemd the ticks wouldn't be sent out until 2 weeks before the gig, which was quite worrying, esp. for us who live abroad.

Its Mika you know? such a sweet and innocent intent , I really love the man , just its almost like a project and it needs some feasibility.
I mean .. posting just to get points is yuck , I wished the MFC had been involved and it was more "alive" with fans doing things at gigs , or member of the month.Sorry rambling .. the way to get points just seems to manic and breeds a system of hmmmm obsessivenss
Lets upload 1000 vidoes tonight for example
yeah the whole MS suffers still from the fact of being created officially as opposed to MFC which was and ina way, a very good way, still remains unofficial for its spirit, its energy and its spontaneity: I'm sure you get what I mean.
sometimes official initiative absorbs this spirit somehow on the way and becomes more independently alive, hope I made myself clear.
this doesn't seem the case of MS so far at least. it's more driven from the deus ex machina, if you know the expression..
-
The sad thing about all this is that it will not be won by a huge % of our fan club , it will be won based on money , I think most points will come from tickets and SADLY .. I see most of the abuse or potential through the tickets
Ill still go for the signed goodies
yes, you are right. and all the senseless posts on MS, just to rise points, even if those are not worth much.
he also told in milano how excited he was and how he hoped it'd work the way he wanted, but how complicated it was also to work out, as it was smt never tried before, according to his own words.
-
it's grown on me tremedoously either: it's a complex song, in the positive sense of the word and just apparently superficial.
I love it more and more.
-
Why we would a mod call you a cheater sunshine ?
Its more important another MFCer is there
I think this will happen within reason , the cheating Im taking about is the potential for some to buy 1000's in tickets and sell them
yes, it's what the complaints are about.
I wish I could drag the whole family to see mika (even regardless the points factor). sadly it's not possible, not for now at least..
