report on the way home Lol

prsonally i was very tired last nite but then i didnt sleep so well past days

anyway, it was simply a living room gig, with all it takes: mika 20 cm away from you, standing on stage, some of them literally sitting on it, no bareers, hardly any security, a dream

the venue was beautiful, very classy

we were let in later than we should, cannot tell when exactly he was on, i didnt check time then

he didnt wear braces and also told to audience almost at the end of the gig

he also told he was SO much in pain by then

nevertheless he danced and sang his heart out loud, so not being wise or careful, but VERY professional

as a real showman, he never stopped smiling and though he must have been suffering a lot, he didnt show it at all

Wish I'd had a pair of those when I did my foot in, they look alright.

Knowing what it's like to have this happen, I worry that he's not taking care of his foot properly. I was off mine for a whole week before I started walking on it with the crutches, and then I didn't go far, and it was a month before I could start to drive again.

So, I'm hoping that he's getting plenty of rest on it in between all these appearances.

considering his tight schedule, I'd not bet on plenty of rest at the moment for him..

Nobody spoke to him. It was a quick autograph and photo session after the show.

I'm still checking on the trains. I dunno how long it takes to the place from stazione centrale. plus I'd like to stop and get changed at hotel, once I found one, hopefully in the area.. I had thought at first to get changed at the venue, but I'd rather go there without my bag

do we all come at 10pm at the venue or someone meet up somewhere before..?

I have to book train. and if I get the train I am hoping I may be slightly early (VERY slightly) so I can get changed in the hotel room.

It was the very first tim I saw mika live... (and the very beginning of the end of my common sens )

it's odd that it is an american style shop/bar even if we are in italy...

I'm sure I've watched yours, but by now I can't remember (I think I've watched 90% of the vids !! ).

 

I don't believe too much in Zooppa competition cause there're lot of "professional video makers" who entered the comp only for money and they are not mika fans (zooppa opens many competitions for any kind of company or event).

made my own mika calendar for the past 2 yrs and they are always the best cause you choose the pics you want and MFC knows best about mika pics

last year I also got the official mika calendar which is good, but I still prefer home made ones.

the only problem is that even if they are self made with publisher for ex. they cost a fortune to have printed in big size and bound. but the result is nice to look at

Mika's voice in I See You is just so...pretty...and he really nails it live.

I'll probably end up like with all the other EP songs I didn't like at first till I heard them live in milano, in june..
