  1. Don't be self-conscious! These are wonderful! You're way talented.
  2. I want to join the Mutt Club! It looks fun! I think I can qualify with my Russian-Italian-British-Polish-German-Austrian roots. I'm a mish-mosh of ethnicity!
  3. I went away for three days on a college-hunt. Guess whose iPod was died after 5 hours of straight Mika? That's right! Me. So, I went through 2.5 Mika-free days of terror. Mika-withdrawal. :emot-sad: This is only a week after I saw Mika @ Border's, so it was a rough couple of days. My dad kept mocking Mika as well, and whenever I would say something (anything) he would cut me off and say, "Let me guess! Mika?!?" and I would burst into tears. Mika **must** come back to NY this summer, or I don't know what I'll do.
  4. I was there too! With thatpinksock. Gosh, we must've been really loud and ridiculous if people remembered us. And just so everyone knows, I had Mika's hand all over my boobs as well (well, signing the shirt over them). Wearing those Mika shirts from the Gramercy to the signing at Border's was the best idea in the history of the world!!
  5. Surprise, Rachel! Hey, I was ready to get those tickets that night--it was your **other** Mika-obsessed friends. And don't forget to give me credit for finding the over-priced tickets. Your Mika shrine is amazing, BTW.
  6. My friends spoke with his sisters and other family members yesterday (they were SO nice! We took pictures with them too...I'll try to figure out how to post them later), and they told us he is leaving the US today, and then resting before his Paris show.
  7. I concur! I'll be the girl with the dirty blond hair tied up, and with 4 other loud 16 year olds. I'll be wearing an across-the-shoulder LeBaggage striped borwn/tan/black bag and a Northface jacket, in all probability. I say that all fan club members say that we're members as loudly as possible over and over again, so we finally reach each other. I can't wait to see everyone! ***Especially MIKA**** :wub2: 1 day!
  8. Haha, we should make signs so we can save spots for people
  9. AHHHHHH!! SO RIDICULOUSLY EXCITEDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll be there around 5! Very exciting!! :biggrin2: :biggrin2: :biggrin2:
  10. I'll be there!!! On Friday too!!! :)
  11. Well, Rolling Stone did put Mika as one of their upcoming artists to watch, right? So maybe the US media won't be as dense as this idiotic journalist (sorry, that was mean). Honestly, though, did that guy do *any* research? He completely misinterpreted Grace Kelly !!! Seriously, I thought journalism was supposed to be a competitive field...couldn't they have found a better writer?
  12. Does anyone know anything more about the signing at Borders in NY? Has anyone checked out what the "event rules" are? And, if anyone is going, what time are you getting there? I'm afraid I might not get there until 3:30, which would be quite, quite late, and then we might not get in!!
  13. Oh okay, thanks for the replies. Now that we know it's so short (too short!!) we're going to stick around and see if we can catch Mika after his show for pictures and autographs and all that fun stuff. Thanks again!
  14. I'm attending the March 29th show in NY, but I have a question for anyone who has been to Mika's shows prior to this. Could anyone tell me approx. how long the show they went to was? I'm trying to work out transportation and all that fun stuff. Thanks!
  15. yay! I'm so happy it worked out! See you in a week!!!!!!!!!!!!! :wink2:
  16. I'd stay away from bringing your birth certificate, it's too obvious. Don't make a big deal out of it, flash your ID quickly if they ask to see it. If they question you, explain that your birthday is in 10 days. Tell them that the show is an early birthday present. What type of monster would deprive someone of their sweet sixteenth birthday gift?? It'll be okay!
  17. I'll be there March 29th also, and, luckily, we're all 16 (almost 17 for me!). I'm thinking if they ask for ID, just flash your learner's permit/driver's license or school ID, and hopefully the security person won't look at the date, just the year. And, if they look at your actual birth date, I doubt any person would be so cold hearted as to not let you in. Honestly, though, I doubt you'll be checked for ID. I can't remember the last time they've asked for ID at a movie or show for me...I must have been 12! I don't think they'll care. Good luck! See you at the show!!!!
  18. I just saw a commercial (I've never seen this one before, so I'm assuming it's new) for some cell phone company (sorry, I wasn't paying attention to the commercial, I was too excited about hearing Mika on TV!) with Love Today playing. It said Mika, Love Today in the bottom left hand corner, so maybe Mika will get some much-deserved attention. And, I'm not referring to the Motorola(RED) commercial with Chris Kattan dancing about in his underwear, which is in movie theaters. I'm talking about a television commercial.
  19. Oh, and I'm most DEFINITELY bringing my camera.
  20. Oh, okay thanks for the input. I think my friends and I are going to take a 3 or 3:30 train in from Long Island, so we should be arriving by 5:00. I have no idea what the seat numbers on the tickets mean, since it's GA. Maybe I can convince my group to leave school an hour or so early so we can get there a bit earlier... Too bad no one will go for that idea
  21. What time is everyone arriving? We want to get a good spot since it's general admission, but how early is too early?
  22. Tickets came today! Quite, quite, quite excited.
  23. Hey Jubly, I actually purchased my Mika tickets from you on ebay. Any idea when those will be coming? I'm getting nervous. Thanks a bunch!
