  1. Glad you tried anyway! Finnish must be as hard for you as Swedish is for me. Or, maybe a bit harder. I'm supposed to have studied Swedish for a few years, but the grammar still gives me a head ache.
  2. Too right, the cheesiest thing ever! I don't ever want to see Mika flying with an umbrella. Tiibet got the set list. Maybe she could post it on here? But I guess she's too busy chasing after Mika in Germany right now.
  3. I wouldn't recommend it if it's your first show, but I have seen nine shows and one of them was during this tour, so I already know how amazing the show is. Then again I would love to ask my family things like "did you see that?" and "what did you think of that?" after the gig. But I would also loooove for them to see me as LG!
  4. Is anyone going to apply to be a Lollipop Girl or a Big Girl for this show? I have been considering it since Stockholm. It would be nice to do it with someone from here. My family will be in the audience, so I'm either going to be watching the show with them or dancing on stage as a Lollipop Girl. I'm still not 100 % sure if I will apply.
  5. Joo, mä en edes muistanu koko artikkelia. Siinä oli Mikan esikoisalbumin nimikin ihan päin mäntyä! Onneksi saadaan sentään Rufus taas Suomeen, vaikka Mika ei olekaan vielä tulossa.
  6. That's what they did in the front row too, as bizarre as it sounds. Tiibet and I were right in the middle of the front row and people kept pushing us from the left and right sides - and back! I queued since the morning, had number 3 and that was my first time in the middle of a first row, but I'd rather had that experience at some other gig than this one in Stockholm. However it wasn't as bad towards the end of the concert. Mika's energy made up for a lot of pain! But still we had to strain our bodies the whole time to keep our places - which we managed to do.
  7. I just recalled a fun thing Mika said last night. There was an article in yesterday's Metro magazine about Mika, and Mika said that according to the article everyone who comes to his gigs is a freak. And he said that being called a freak was the highest compliment and he was very proud to be a freak too! I can't remember the exact words. Maybe someone has that on video?
  8. I just got home. Haven't slept at all after last night's gig. Mika was absolutely splendid! I don't know how he managed to make forget the pain I was in most time of the gig. Mika laughed a lot during the gig and made me laugh too. He spoke Swedish and said the same things in English right after. He said that his Swedish was as bad as two years ago. I thought it was all right though! He blew out the big balloon I threw to the stage, he he! I was happy and surprised to hear Touches You. This was the first gig for me after the new album came out. The crowd were awful, just as bad as I remembered from two years ago. Those Swedish teenagers... I can't believe it, after Tiibet had given them numbers and made sure that they get to the front this is how they pay her back... Kicking and pushing as if they thought they could all get to front that way. Crazy! I was next to Tiibet and got my share. I swear that I have never had bruises after a Mika gig before. I have never seen anyone faint at a gig either except during these two Globen gigs. Mika's first Globen gig was like this but I gave in then and moved further back. I didn't give up my position this time though, so I'm in serious pain now. It feels like I may have broken a rib, hopefully not! I had my camera with me, but I gave up trying to take any pictures before the gig and concentrated on staying alive instead - and also enjoying the gig as much as I could! Mika didn't come out after the gig, he was too tired the security said. Oh well, I only wanted to ask him to sing Toy Boy in Vienna since my mother loves it. I wanted to tell him that I'm bringing my family there. Hopefully I will meet him in Vienna. He has been singing Toy Boy a lot during this tour, hasn't he? I decided that I'm never ever going to see Mika in Sweden again. It's just too much pain.
  9. My plane should arrive at 8 am. Then I will have to take a train and tube. Not sure how much time it takes until I arrive at the venue. After that I guess I'll just hang there all day long since I don't have a hotel to go to. We should definitely meet before queuing too.
  10. Thanks! Is the tube easy to find once I get to Centralen? I'm going alone and I'm a little scared I might get lost. Is there a tube map somewhere?
  11. I'm gonna at least try speaking Swedish in Stockholm! Vad tåg tycker du att jag skulle ta från Arlanda till Globens Annexet?
  12. Blue, are you coming toon now? And Mana? That's great! I'll see you soon then. My ticket is waiting at the post office and I will collect it tonight.
  13. You will! You texted me last night to tell me that you had got tickets for the third row, center. I just wondered how on earth you got the tickets already at night since they weren't even for sale yet! I don't think I've ever seen a dream in which I know exactly what day it is, let alone time! Are you sure you didn't get the tickets already?
  14. Sad things aside, I just found out that Rufus is coming to Helsinki in May! He's coming to the same venue again (which I love). Yay!
  15. I decided to leave after the gig then, with Tiibet. I don't need accommodation so I'm saving here. I might afford one more Mika gig before the summer. Hmm...
  16. I have now booked into the Etap Hotel that was referred to on the first page. Glad to find a good hotel near the gig venue! Flights are booked also. I'll come on the 27th and leave on the 30th with three family members who need to be Mikafied.
  17. Can't wait for this one! My family and I will book flights and a hotel next week. Not sure what hotel to choose yet though. Maybe we'll take the one close to the gig venue. I just hope there isn't a night club next to it.
  18. Does anyone need a roommate for one or two nights around the gig date? Globe hotel was great last time, but it's rather expensive so I don't want to book there on my own. I'll have to think about leaving right after the gig if I don't find anyone to share a room.
  19. I should probably log in on MySpace sometimes. I had received a message from Pete the other day... He has a new band (again): http://www.myspace.com/veloworld Apparently he has some band members too, no idea who they are though. White Nights reminds me of Palladium.
  20. Toi on pelkkää arvailua, mutta olis kyllä ihan mahtavaa jos Mika tulis tuolloin Suomeen. Toivottavasti mahdollinen Suomen-keikka selviää pian. Olis ikävä olla just silloin ulkomailla. Yes! We have them a lot.
  21. No, I don't think I have seen your video. I'd like to see it though! I didn't have to melt anything. I hated the doll's dimples so my original idea was just to cover them somehow, so yesterday I bought some polymer clay called Milliput. I use acrylics to paint my dolls, but I have no idea how well the paint stays on the sculpted part of the doll's face. My sculpture is now rock hard and I'm going to start painting it tonight.
  22. Thanks! Unfortunately there isn't a perfect head mold for a Mika doll, so I had to make one. I sculpted his mouth! Can you tell it's him? More like the Joker, right?
  23. Mini Mika number 2 - first photos! Here is Mini Mika's ex, Artem, introducing the next two Mini Mikas! I will sell one of them once they are both finished. I didn't want to paint another doll with a huge smile on his face. I wanted to do something more serious this time. So I removed the lip paint and cut off the doll's teeth and shut his mouth with super glue. The first time I do something like this! I then removed the rest of the paint and started repainting the face. I'm not satisfied with the shape of the mouth, because it makes his eyes look somehow... you know, pervy. And that's not the look I want for this doll. More like this: I want it to be a serious face, so I'm going to try re-molding the lips today, using clay. I have wiped off his left eye because it wasn't on the same level with the other one. Shame, 'cause I really liked the eyes so far. You can't always get it right at the first try (I never do). To be continued...
  24. I spent two hours doing my first mix and I absolutely freaking love it! It's called Dark Dying Swan and it's quite acoustic.
