Mika is a phenomenon that can't be explained in a few sentences. And I consider his music as a real gift (as most of us do, and this is not lip service). I love the diversity. When I listen to lollipop or love today or grace kelly I have the brightest grin on my face people have ever seen (some even assumed I was on drugs - and I'd say: Why not? If he is a drug, then this is my favourite way to get high ). And then there are those darker, thoughtful songs like any other world and happy ending, which made me really think. But to me personally Over my shoulder was a revelation. When I first listened to it I was just thunderstruck. So unexpected and emotional. And immediately I perceived a strong link to my own life as I have been through really dark times a while ago. Suddenly I felt understood. For the first time and that felt strange and comfortable at the same time. It's hard to explain. Maybe it can't be explained at all because it is such a strong personal feeling...

no because I'm sure Mika appreciates ppl who are themselves, stick to their own style (if they have already found it) and don't copy anybody else because it might be fashionable or "cool". Would you consider buying a piano and taking lessons just to be able to play his marvellous songs? ...

He's authentic. He's entirely into everything he does. He has that fabulous "Why not?!" attitude. He's a go-getter in the most positive way. He knows how to transmit good vibes. He's so charismatic and although he's aware of that he's still down to earth. He has such a pleasant nature that everytime I see interviews with him I feel that I could just sit and listen forever. He never talks ****. He's smart and he constantly emits such a genuine, natural cheerfulness that you could get the impression that there can impossibly be any evil on earth... Oh, and did I mention that I simply love his music and its diversity? ... I could go on for hours....

*wonders* how can that be so different of all we know by Mika so far, and yet be THAT fantastic...?

après avoir vu le clip de "Grace Kelly" pour la première fois je me suis immédiatement servie de youtube pour absorber autant 'matériel' que possible - et voilà: le premier interview j'ai trouvé était celui de Taratata. ...et qu'est ce-que je peux dire - je me retrouvais sous son charme aussi Je ne pourrais que l'entendre parler francais toute la journée...

Funny coincidence: The show starts today with the very first episode in Germany but actually we already have a tv programme here, called "Verliebt in Berlin" which is very similar to Ugly Betty; even the actress looks quite similar and also the story is almost the same because it is based on the same columbian prototype - seems to work though
