Just heard a rumor that Mika might come back to Germany in autumn for several gigs... Can anybody verify that?

It is a 2 hour talkshow which means that it is possible that Mika will be involved from the beginning and maybe during the whole show So please can anybody record it?

here's my trial: maybe you can have a quick look at it and correct the mistakes/complete the gaps, sunshine? For I am by far not sure if I got everything right.... The young anglo-lebanese succeeding with his first album “Life in cartoon motion” surprised his audience at Trabendo in Paris where he abridged the spiritual bond between Elton John and Freddie Mercury last night. Sometimes you just can’t help it, there are very nerve-racking boys in life. Let’s take e.g. Mika, an only 23 year old anglo-lebanese with a model’s aspect, women adore him. He is a self-educated musician with an enourmous voice, a trapezist and a real showman. Mika is already on top of the French album sales with his first record. The boy is touched by grace. Mika that’s pop opera in technicolor, full of elegant and colored rainbow music. He had to struggle for two and a half years with music producers wanting to change him in order to make him sound like others. And the music industry has to admit that Mika has a unique style. Mika: It’s complicated pop music. That is strange because I like to create songs in which everything is really simple and the ideas I have sometimes are a little (*strange*). I improve reality. I take the odd, wacky, outcast and put it on a stage, on a throne. When he was little the teachers at school detested him and so did the students who even insulted him. But today Mika decided to live his life joyfully in a big cartoon way and he continues. His concert on June, 30th is already sold out.

Okay, here is just the mika talking part: The question was if he particularly liked cartoons… “ I think it is just because I had a lot of problems at school, and I was spending a great deal of my youth just looking around and observing silently what happened there... Yes I think I felt a little like being part of a cartoon.” Then the interviewer mentions Mika’s origin, the hostage story of his father…and asks him about the impact of all that on Mika’s further life and how he keeps all those influences in balance… Im not sure if I got that right but I think he said that what he got from the Lebanese side in his music is the way people react on difficult, dark and depressing situations; so he said when life gets too hard, they just jump on the table and have a party. About Freddie Mercury: “I think he was unbelievable. Particularly his voice, the way he wrote his songs with such a powerful melodic intensity. I like the thought of creating pop and rock songs with a strong melodic tune.” The last question is what he wished to happen now and he sais he would like to be on tour for a whole year. I really hope I got it right

I know it is a little off-topic... er actually it might be totally random but i have to ask: does anybody else also have the impression that our cute mika looks so different in the Grace Kelly video? I mean not at all less attractive (beware!) but ...yes, just so different from his appearance in all those interviews... ...or do I suffer from a certain form of err... perception disorder ?

Actually it is a GREAT idea. Why don't we do something like that Terra Naomi did in her video "say it's possible"? We would not have to come all to London (for some of us can't) but take a shot of ourselves hopping around or so.... Similar to the scrapbook thing: we could send him a video message with our wishes for him... , wouldn't that be a birthday present??
