  1. What happened to this thread?? Yes there was a bit of mobbing around Mika at the party but it wasn't that bad. He wasn't going to stay longer anyway, he was just popping in, but maybe I'm not complaining because he eventually did come to our table.

But why discuss it this much (how many pages now with no pics and vids)?? I want pix and vids people :naughty:

Anyway, I would just like to say that I had an absolutely amazing few days with Nina, Karin and our awesome Swatch crew who took care of us and treated us as if we were celebrities or something :D

We even got our own private professional photographers, a bus just for us which took us everywhere, our own very cool tour guide who was supersweet, and three lovely Swatch team leaders who made sure we had everything we needed.

We got free visits to fancy restaurants and cafés, got to visit the Tate Museum and see the incredible paintings of Paul Klee, visit historic places and get insightful information about them from our tour guide. I adore Lady Diana so I asked him a lot about her. And I'm still in awe that they paid for our fancy hotel stay and flights + transportation! Not bad for Second Place winners :aah:

Meeting the employees of Swatch and Mika was fun as well of course; One of the girls who worked there was Swedish/Finnish (like me and Nina!).

We chatted a bit to Mika, gave him some gifts, took a horrible photo of him and us (well, I looked horrible; the rest looked like normal people), then went off to the after party which was in the basement of a pub just down the street from the Swatch store. Very intimate and cool pub! I had such a wonderful time and I've been to a lot of parties but this one was definitely one of my all time favorites! Met some awesome and sweet people and got a bit too drunk which I haven't been in ages it seems; I'm getting old; So thanks to Mika for this fun evening! I don't like to flatter him too much but what a cool person he is for doing this for his fans; I think it's great PR for him as well. People will start to talk and know that Mika's a special type of artist who gives back to his fans eventually if he keeps doing these types of cool things. *Hint Hint*

Anyway thank you all for congratulating us on our win!

If anyone wants to see my photos, just add me as a friend on Facebook. :)

  2. Typical... The yellow one is the only one I kind of like (eventhough the eyes and teeth of the mask creep me out) and it's the most expensive one.

I guess it comes with that creepy collectors box but I think I'll wait unless I have to buy one in London or win one via NetHunt.

  3. Seriously, its this kindof thing thats been upsetting me about Mika lately...

He grabs a thing and explores it to the maximum...

TBWKTM is as old a **** for us,so why bring it back in a couple of swatch watches?

They are both so creative, so imaginative, why repeating something that was done ages ago???

Besides, this wasnt exactly one of my fav of their designs...

The same ishappeningwith x factor, i'm so sick and tired of reading about it i dont even go to those threads anymore...

I always loathed these singing contests, never watched them on my whole life, here in portugal they suck even more, but i gave it a try coz it was Mika, but ifind it so superfluous,so superficial (same as here) i just gave up...

And he's been exploring it to the most...

I didnt start folowing him for the vanity fairs, the vogues, the drawings, the tv shows...I started following him for the music, and it seems to me he's getting away from himself and spreading (spoiling, wasting) his talent with rubbish...

Go on crucify me, here's the nails...

It's getting really boring, I agree. Would like some new music and concerts, but I guess we'll see what'll happen. Until then I guess we who can't stand his side projects will have to try to be patient...

  4. The site is sometimes stuck but just keep trying, we have managed to enter our code every time. I feel so stupid because we used a lot of time (and lost too many points) a couple of first days just because we didn't understand it can be simple and the answer was in front of us all the time  I don't much care if I win a T-shirt or not but it has been a lot of fun to have our daily meeting with our team :wub2: Thanks girls!

Yeah I've been having a great time waking up and solving puzzles with you girls! :D Has been fun and exciting :)

  5. Well you guys are high today. There's no saying how it will all play out until 24 hours after the last puzzle. The day's rankings aren't very accurate. :dunno:

I wish Swatch would update the top list accurately, like one beat after each task instead of 50 beats because it's really annoying :aah: I don't get excited about us being in the top now 'cause I think many teams have scores higher than us but just solved the puzzle after 50 beats. So confusing...

  6. Yeah it sucks and that's why I decided earlier this week to bow out. I am not waking up at 4:30 am every day. I wasn't even willing to do it today and I don't have to work. I get terrible migraines and not sleeping is the biggest trigger, so forget it. It's not worth that kind of headache (literally).

The winners will be a group who would only have to pay 50 euro for a flight anyway I suppose.

Aww that's too bad, Christine :( Not at all fair that they're starting it at the same time every day for the fans outside Europe and people who work and/or study at that time.

How about your team mates? Couldn't they work on the riddles at that time? :)

  7. :thumb_yello: I have a feeling the prize isn't that important any more. I just want to find every code, lol! So disturbing :aah::naughty:

Same here, it's fun in a disturbing way lol

I feel like Batman trying to figure out the Riddler's riddles or something.

  8. The MJ fanbase on Twitter can bug the hell out of me because a lot of fans, mostly new fans will try to defend him against the child molestation claims in the worst possible way; Making him look like he actually did molest a child by not doing any research and attacking people in a vicious way rather than presenting hard facts in an intelligent and calm manner. I try to stay away from twitter but yes it does sometimes bother me too when some faceless users attack MFC users and tweet embarrassing nonsense (sometimes, ok often) but I'm happy I'm not a celebrity and don't have to read it every time I log on :naughty: But Mika's a tough guy, I don't feel sorry for him at all for having to read all of those weird tweets. Most fans' intentions are good I would hope.
