  1. I love Queen and Freddie, have since I was about 14 years old, and I'm 41 now. I saw them twice when Freddie was alive, and the second time, I was in the 8th row. I can't describe the feeling of being so close. They were so good in concert and put on a fantastic show. Freddie was in complete command of the audience, and completely confident in doing so. He was meant to be doing just what he was doing. I also saw Queen with Paul Rogers, and it was an emotional experience to hear Queen play those songs live again. I never thought I'd hear them play or see Roger or Brian again. I loved the show, and loved the way they remembered Freddie throughout. I know that Mika isn't Freddie, but just that he has a touch of the Freddie style is attractive. His voice is incredible and his music is fun. Love it!
  2. Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm going to look around at the other threads!
  3. Hello all!!!! Here's my story.... I'm a 41 year old mom of 4...music lover...thought my day of really "falling in love" with a musician was waaaaay over! I LOVED Queen, loved Freddie....saw them twice with him, once with Paul Rodgers, they were awesome....more than awesome. I enjoy music now. Plenty of music, don't get me wrong. I still get happy when I hear something I like. But when I heard Mika, I FLIPPED OUT. Literally. Heart beating, mind racing, just knock down dragged out DELIGHTED at the music. Pure unadulterated joy at this album...er...CD....err...Dowload!!! LOL!!! I am over the moon...I think of this music morning, noon and night. I wake up in the middle of the night with, "Big girls, you are beautiful"...running through my head. I, my new friends, am OBSESSED.
