AHHH! I am glad today is a public holiday in WA as I would not achieved any work!! Still have to figure out how to get my video onto youtube- have to edit it cause I stuffed it up and joined it up with all my other footage of Sydney, which is really boring and no one would want to watch! Have just finished watching Rove again, and Happikali- your necklace is next to Luke on the sound equipment- all the little animals standing up! You made an impression!! Am trying to return to normal but keep thinking about what an awesome time I had and that is mainly because of you guys!! All my family and friends thought I was weird wanting to fly to Sydney to see Mika, and even weirder that I was going to the show alone. But I knew I would catch up with you guys and have an awesome time. My only expection of the show was to see him perform live, and thanks to you guys it was a whole lot more!!! Hanging out before the show, waiting impatiently for his set to start and then going upstairs after the show would not have been possible, or anywhere near as fun without you. YOU GUYS MADE MY MIKA EXPERIENCE THE DREAM THAT IT WAS and I will never forget that. Let's make sure we keep the Aussie thread going and hopefully all see each other again- the sad thing is we probably won't though if he comes back and does a whole Aussie tour. Who knows, maybe I will win lotto and can shout everyone to Perth for the ultimate Mika reunion!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH :thumb_yello: :thumb_yello:

Thank you for loading all the photos!! I am really disappointed at the crap quality of my photos that I took on the video camera- sholud have just brought my digi camera, would have been so much easier! Especially since all the footage I took inside was on the wrong video setting and didn't work!!! Am having trouble with my home comp and don't want to upload from my work laptop (I already download way too much on it!) but as soon as I do I will upload my photos and get the video of us outside onto youtube!!

Alright- gotta board now so I will be back when I got home to Perth!!

OMG- how dumb am I??? The footage I did take of the night (I do have a heap of our afternoon meeting) didn't work as I had my video camera set just to take photos! AHHHH!!!!! There should still be some good footage from the concert appearing anyway, and it will be on take 40 website in a while (prob a few weeks)

Okay, I'm disapearing for a while- can't spend my entire day in Sydney sitting on a computer terminal in Bondi- there are sites to see and non-Mika photos/video to take. I will return!!

So there was Rainbow Sky, Soangel, Hapikali, Mouselle, Nico Collard, Pamram and myself from MFC. I suspect we may have quite a few more members joining soon though, Hapikali did and awesome sign that she kept holding up to the crowd who were all behind us:naughty:

I've got him on video saying "oh, she was the blonde lady at the mtv awards in Japan!!!" when we mentioned Blue Sky:naughty: you made an impression!!!

It was!! Awesome photos from Getty, reliving last night.... BTW, your signature "Mika's looking down my wife's cleavage"- wait till you see one of our photos......!!!!!! :roftl: :roftl:

Okay, I'm back!!! So by this stage we are literally ON the stage (I had my video camera resting on it!) and we could catch the sweat dripping off Mika and Martin!!! We resisted the urge to grab at Mika's legs or shoes (for fear of tripping him over!) Every song was brilliant, and then they disappeared after Grace Kelly. Sone they were back in their animal suits, with Luke dressed as a scary koala trying to get the other guys!!! Did the usual dance, etc and then played Lollipop. We had 4 lollipop girls (okay, 2 girls and the 2 guys from earlier) who threw some many lollipops into the crowd- Nico Collard got hit with one and had a chunk of skin taken off her nose!!!! All the huge balloons were released and got flicked around everywhere- Mika was lucky not to have been hit a couple of times!!! The guys came forward at the end, Martin's mike stand fell and almost hit us in the head but my quick thinking (for a change!!) saved us I handed it backed to Luke!! We waited very patiently (yeah right!!) for everyone to disappear before being led upstairs. After a bit of arguing about how we were supposed to be there we got let in. The big girls and a couple of other people were there hanging out. A few minutes later Mika turned up all freshly showered (hmmm...) and sat and chatted for a while. We were trying to think of questions (I think we were a bit dumbstruck!) FORGOT AGAIN TO ASK ABOUT ICEMAN!!!! (should have done it to the MTV cameras we realised!) Luke came through and points to me staying "she mimed along the whole way through Holy Johnny and it hasn't even been released!" One of my many highlights of the evening!!! We left then as he had about 50 people waiting outside for a meet and greet (competition winners) They were planning on going out all night before flying to Melbourne at 6am to get ready for Rove tonight. Well, I hope I haven't missed to much out, the other girls will file their reports when they get online, but for me it was more than worth the cost of flying from Perth (everyone was pretty stunned that I had done it!) and would have been so miserable to read these reports had I not gone. Condolences to Wooden Sox who couldn't get in (you should have introduced yourself- I would have tried to pull some strings cause I was chatting to the security guard for about 15mins. ) For those who haven't gotten close but haven't met him, be patient as he had so much time for us and was genuinely interested in what we had to say. Huge thanks to all the other MFC'ers who were there, as you made my night, it would have been pretty weird hanging out by myself for all that time. You are all fantastic. Now, time to go back and see if these posts make sense and check out the replies! Ciao!!!

The support band were really good, came on at 830 and played for 30 minutes, they did a set change and Mika was due on at 930. A whole row of photographers came in front of the rope barricade, but security told us "they're only here fro the first 3 songs and then you can move forward!!" Started with Relax, then Big Girl, then Billy Brown. As the show was being recorded for MTV no flask photography was allowed but we got soooo many photos (soon guys, soon!) Okay, trying to think.. next was Stuck in the Middle, Holy Juhnny, Sweet Dreams, I want You Back. Then LOVE Today, Grace Kelly and Lollipop..... think that is all correct! Anyway, we had 2 Big Girls come out and dance, Mika dissapeared offstage at one point and came back with hapikali's necklace!!! He wore it for a bit and then put it on Martin. Need more credit, hang on a minute!!!

Okay, well... We had a guy with a video camera chatting to us, asking questions- he was from MTV. Yasmin came out and took some photos, we chatted with her about Sydney, what she has been up to (she has the weirdest accent!!) Anyway, eventually it was time to go in, were worried that people on the "guest list" would have proirity spots but no, we were at the very fromt looking very specky in our flashing hearts, glow bracelets, etc!! A guy came over to chat with us asking about our badges, the forum, etc etc. He had a Access All Areas pass on that was flipped over and just said "Blair" I flipped it back over and looked at him curiously and said "oh, I'm Mika's manager!!!" We were like, okay.... He quizzed us on what more they could do for the fans, we said we wanted regular blogs on his sites, more pictures released (like when he went to the zoo) and more releases on upcoming events. He was like " cool, thanks, how many of you are there? Stay here after the show and you can come back stage! He was pretty impressed that people had made an effort to come from Melbourne, Canberra and myself from Perth. We were trying to contain our excitement!!

Okay, this might take a while but..... ALL OF OUR EXPECTATIONS WERE EXCEEDED!!!!! :roftl: I got there at about 5pm, all the other MFC'ers were there, had just had word Mika was coming in a red Tarago from Bondi, and 2 seconds later he turned up!!! My timing was perfect!! He stood with us for about 20mins (have video footage, will have to load when I get back to Perth) and answered questions, chatted, signed everything, got given presents and took photos. Hapikali gave him this awesome FARM YARD ANIMAL necklace which he thought was soooo funny. Steph, he knew you were sick and couldn't go to the gig, and Blue Sky- he know who you were!!! Anyway he was taken inside when we were all finished (the band had arrived earlier and run straight in) so we spent the next few hours at the front of the line waiting.... Some MALE lollipop girls came out and had photos taken, handed out lollipops etc, had jugglers, clown etc which helped pass the time. More to come.....

I can't win!!! My husband has finally relented and succumbed to my whinging and has granted me my biggest wish of flying to Sydney to go to the concert- now I can't get a ticket!! :thumbdown: I am emailing everyone I can but I have to wait for replies- oh no!!!!!!

Don't worry DK, I am extremely dissapointed as well. All of my attempts to win tickets from Perth have been unsuccessful and I hang onto a superslim chance that I will end up there, but with every minute that diminishes..... Will be extremely happy (although extremely sad!) while the concert is on but hopefully everyone who is going has an awesome night.

Will post this on the aussie thread as well, but have just heard that Mika will be on Perth Nova (obviously not in the studio though:sneaky2: ) Friday morning with an interview with Nathan & Nat (our brekky dj's) He is also going to be on Merrick & Rosso nationally (don't know what day though.) I should be able to link both onto the site. :biggrin2:
