Yeah, we seem to have gotten a bit off track (my fault!!) Anyway, bedtime for me here in Perth, will be interested to see where this thread has ended up in the morning!! Night all!!
Maybe we should be in charge of his schedule- we do seem to know more of what's happening with him than management! And we could send him to those far flung places (like Perth:biggrin2: ) so everyone could see him!!
Such a serious post BS! That is the annoying thing though isn't it- of course someone can get sick ( and we all know he hasn't been 100% for a while) but to cancel one show, then do another just seems silly...
Of course!! I am just as surprised and p*ssed off as everyone else- it doesn't affect me personally at the moment but I know I would be absolutely devo if it happened at a gig I was going to:shocked:
Poor Kata- I really feel sorry for you:boxed: Hey, maybe he will suddenly squeeze in an event in the next few weeks for you (hopefully not on a date where he is booked somewhere else though! )
Okay, I have just checked out everything I can
for oxegen and there is no word on any cancellation yet, he is due on stage (stage 2) at 7:40pm, so, we wait and see......
I think his younger sister is Allegra, and his little cousin is Zuleika as she does the intro on Lollipop. He said in an interview once how he flew her over the states to record that bit and put her up in a fancy hotel, etc
Just found this interview from when Mika was in Tokyo, haven't seen it before so I apologise if it has already been posted. It's really cute

Okay, so I have a 5 track CD sampler released in 2006 (it just has 'Mika' on the front with the tree artwork) and has GK, LT, BB, Relax and BG. I beleive it was one of the promo cd's sent out as an intro?
In some of the Hong Kong interviews he speaks mandarin/ cantonese. I don't remember all details but know in one of them he says he took a one hour class per week for a few years but spent more time gossiping, so am assuming this was during high school?
That was exactly how I knew I would feel if I did not go to the Sydney show. And although my husband will not let me forget about the HUGE favour he granted me by letting me fly there (leaving him at home to look after 2 little kids!) it was an experince I would exchange for anything on earth.
Good luck to everyone who is going tonight, hope you all have an awesome Mika-experience and we look forward to your reports. for everyone else who is not going- be patient your time will come (fingers crossed sooner rather than later!)
I posted on the Aussie thread earlier that Happy Ending is number 38 on our offical download chart, which is fantastic, especially seeing as it wasn't even performed in Sydney!
