I've been thinking recently that my butt & thighs looks a little more voluptuous than it should be (alright, so i may hv let myself go). in the past this would have made me throw a sort of temper at my own flab. but now, every time i feel the urge to moan about my reflection, i make myself think of 'Big Girl'.... and then start humming it...and then can't stop... The point is, has the song made u think a little differently about ur thunder thighs (assuming u have them)? It's one thing to read magazines that tell u it's OK to be pleasantly plump; it's another thing altogether when the man of ur dreams advocates it. heh

hey Sweetie... when u are feeling happy, multiply that happiness. When u are sad, divide it...with as many people as u can! I don't mean spread the misery, i just mean share your burdens with anyone who will listen without judgment. And also, there's nothing wrong with seeing a good psychologist, or just a therapy group with ppl going thru the same. let me tell u smthing... I too am, or was, a depression sufferer. In fact, now & then i still stare in2 that dark abyss & wonder if life is worth living. And what is most important is a support network! surround yourself with people who will give you the shoulder u need (like us at MFC), don't be afraid to cry (buckets if u need to), and of course...listen to lots of Mika! Isn't that strange?? Me too! In fact if i had 2 choose btwn a muscular guy & a lanky one, i'd pick the latter. For some reason big muscles don't turn me on. And i'm not attracted to rotund men either - don't ask me why, it's just a fetish thing. and hair - i don't like too much chest hair. i saw M take his shirt off at a concert and was glad he had a smooth chest. he has muscles, but they're nice & lean, more Spiderman than Superman.... anyway, slender guys have this sort of springiness when they walk, which is funnily enough very attractive. i'm not thin myself, i'm short but curvy (around the hips at least).

Actually you said it beautifully. If there was one way to worship Mika (aside from throwing ur underwear at him), it would be poetry, or a song, or something as prismatic and radiant and melodious as him. Oh, & thank you, Bonjour, for posting this - really made me think. As far as celebrities go, change is near inevitable. There are a few gems like Johnny Depp (the sexiest, most interesting & beautiful man in the world after Mika) who insist on remaining themselves and being removed from all that hype & jazz, making their craft the focus of all they do. Perhaps Mika is one such gem. Only time will tell.
