Hahaha it was hilarious. But she did look pretty terrified.
And I would have paid good money to see you say that to him. Still, you got a hug from him as well. You were a popular lady that night!
I was free with my hugs that night ... Mika was lucky .....
The security lady i believe was particularly pleased ......
-
Hello - it's taken me all this time to read the first 10 pages!
And thanks for the passport
It does take a while to read but hey no hurry , we have plenty time to sit back and read now .......
-
I never said that!
If you remember, when we were walking down the car park steps, I said that you were tipsy:naughty:
I'd all forgotten about our rendition of YMCA in the car park......
Really , what were you all thinking of!!

All I'm gonna say Vicky is that upon seeing Neil when we were waiting for Mika to come on, you shrieked 'OH THERE'S MY MAN!' and fought your way through the crowd, then proceeded to hug him, with a poor innocent woman in between the two of you.
Which is obviously very much the behaviour of an utterly sober person.
Of course.
How romantic .....................
come on it was my home gig babe!!!!
at least i didn't say that when Mika came out!!!!
-
Yes but AFTERWARDS, when Wendy had left in the taxi............and you were blind drunk .......................wasn't Neil there then?
come on u guys!!
This is not fair ...
I really hardly had much to drink ..... .
but when i did it went to my .................................... HEAD!
.............. Neil they are all saying i was drunk ................................
I didn't think we were going to mention that *nudges*SON!! Don't you start!!
Well...............I suppose I didn't need to really..............sort of goes without sayingLEEDS!!!!!!
............... is all i'm saying
And I see there are already loads of reports so I'll read them tomorrow. And I see lots of videos on YouTube. Thankyou all so much for sharingHello!!! Glad you are back safely ....... and so is your passport at last!!
-
Vicky.................you've hugged the man at least twice............surely that is grounds to move in together?
I am glad that Neil really enjoyed it.................but I am sad that I didn't even see him.
Sometimes I wonder what I do with myself
You were pretty occupied:wink2:
I felt it was all such a whirlwind day .....
We'll meet soon:wink2:
-
I like your style. There are too many smiley, shiny, huggy optimists in the fc.
Come on .............
remember ..... we used to laugh ......................
and drink wine

And in wet blanket mode, I have to point that Warsaw is a festival and he's only on for an hour.
well timed .. i need the wet blanket to dampen my spirits......
oh well
they'll be others ...
I'm back from lovely Edinburgh too!!! Thanks to everyone for the reports, pics and vidsCan't add really much to the gig reports, everything has been perfectly summed up. I was front row on JiMMas side and had a blast together with Ilse and Caroline! So much fun. I missed the slower songs like AOW, Toyboy and ISY, also GGG. But i'm happy that i finally saw Kick Ass live!! So powerful - overall i felt more exhausted after this gig than after a whole day at the gym
Apart from Mika, meeting all you fabulous MFCers was so worth the trip to Scotland!!! Can't mention every single one by name, but i had a great time at the sunday meet up castle tour, the evening at the pub and during the queueing on monday. I was so happy to finally meet so many MFCers in person with whom i've only chatted on MFC or tweeted before. Such a lovely experience and i already miss you guys!! Special thanks though to Vicky for organizing the meet up on sunday. You are gorgeous, i fell in love with your hometown and with you (and Neil is adorable too!)
Love you too, Sweetie! And i totally understand that Scotsman John fell for you and wanted to marry you...allow me to post that adorable pic
All your pics are amazing by the way
Awww, i'm really sorry for being so tall... very relieved you had quite a good view anyway. Was a pleasure to meet you!!
Thanks so much Caroline for that pic...
Ok, you can love me now...
It was great to meet you and i knew you were so happy to come to Edinburgh ...i'm so gald you had fun ..i could tell the whole time you were smiling!!
Neil really enjoyed the sunday and the monday night ....he liked seeeing what i get such a buzz from and he even had to admit Mika put on a great show ...
when we all said he was quite tired looking ...he said " eh , what the guy bounced around the stage for nearly 2 hrs!! " true:aah:
Ah, but it's not all about him.We can go out and get legless, on Schnapps, afterwardsCOLOR]
do they do that in damson flava?!
Still in love with David then? Is he moving into the castle with you?I did indeed I knew it was wrong but it's Friday and I couldn't get my head around it
Well he did suggest it, but i feel it's a bit early yet ....:
-
Vicky.................not busy on Sunday are you? Wanna go to Warsaw?
Yeah with house viewing BUT!!!!!
Those MFCer pics are brill...............I just forgot to quote itSome of them:sneaky2:
Vicky and I definitely did NOT check out the date of it on the MFC calendar when we had lunch the other day.Did you?! I never noticed>....
I know.Just like non of us have checked flights to Swizerland, Poland or South America
NOPE:mf_rosetinted:
SITM trumpet bizniz with blowers and giggles and David blowing my blower. (Saucy!)awww David!
The bus is filling upI'll just pop over to london, Any chance of a pick-up rose?and Italy is on the wayI'll need to get that private jet along with my castle!!
Actually checked for flights and stuff for Poland, not worth it... Flight and 4 hour bus drive and its very pricey -
I'm sorry it's taking so long, my laptop froze
I have two for now; they're really short but that makes it quicker to upload.
Maybe I should merge them together tomorrow.
EDIT:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPrHhNTkZkU
goodnight!
Well atleast one us of made it on to stage!!
I give you some of my pics, but just the ones without Zoom cause they're no good qualityAnd MFCers
wow ....oh dear ...!!
It's the MFCers pics i love the best!!
Back in London town now. I'll upload everything, write a report and get all my shiz together today. Finally.Gaaaaaaaaaaaah I miss everyone.
Oh me too ...come back everyone ...... NOW!
That's my problem after these gigs.I do enjoy seeing Mika very much, obviously, but these gigs (and especially when there is travel involved) are SO much more than just a gig , it's about the whole experience of spending time with friends, meeting new ones, etc.... That is what I miss once the gigs are over
Yeah it's all about US!!
Man, we're so convincing:roftl:I miss everyone too! I'm slipping into a post gig depression:tears:
Oh baby girl ..... your brothers really are missing you
Yeah, but I guess people who live near-ish each other can see friends in between shows, it's just a bit more awkward when they're hundreds or thousands of miles away.I think one of us needs to get our thinking caps on and invent the teleport.
Anyway, here are my photos - http://s928.photobucket.com/albums/ad129/Lozzington/MIKA%20Fringe%2023082010/
Some more classics there thank you!!
Just uploaded my first vid so here's the trumpet soloYay!! Thanks .....
-
You're welcome!
I don't know what I should do with all those 'we're the dancers' vids, let me know if anyone wants them.
goodnight everyone! x!
oh yeah please i forgot about them too!!
Omg put up the good one with all of us in and then the one with Vicky that I took online pleaseI don't see one of us there?! let me see:teehee:
Ingie ...i'm sure i've seen a SITM video ..but can't find it .....
-
Yeah Brighton 07 when we were all so young.
I have a little nostalgia pic of outside the gig ... may i post?
-
I don't often comment about gigs or meetings with Mika, but I will this time.
Well, he was in a hurry after the gig, but he usually at least says hello to me as I never get anything signed and he knows that.
On Monday though I told him I had some advice to give him.
He kind of grinned and then tried to compose himself, putting on a semi serious face. (Probably because I looked quite serious)
Goodness knows what he thought I was going to say.
So anyway, I said my advice is - always do what Sara tells you.
Then we all burst out laughing, I think he thought I was going to be critical
Not that I was worried, he can fight his own corner with me when I am critical, as I can attest to.
This set up Sara nicely to tell him the usual. But that's her story.
an Honor indeed ........................................
did you catch Jeng ... i have fond memories of Brighton 2007

I cant add anything, reviews so far summed it up perfectly, Meeks looked tired, but was amazing and had some groovy dance moves and his chat was funny. I also am now in love with Simon from the support band, Pearl and the puppets.....for anyone who whatched heroes , HE IS SLYARS DOUBLE!! and very cute indeedie:wink2:
Amazing gig, I finally got to meet lots of wonderful mfcers..cant wait for the next time, when will it be:aah:
Love Edinburgh, amazing staff, all fab
My chauffeur!!
loving seeing you and can't thank you enuf for my picture
Was amazing all day and you were great to be with even if again i felt we didn't spend enuf time together .... i luv ya!
-
pretty much yes, i think that after about an hour it's stopped for a sec or so which makes it in two parts
but i have,''t seen it myself so i''m not sure what it looks like
i'm afraid there's a lot of footage where Meeks 's head is missing
i'm going to watch what it looks like saturday and let you all know how it is and try to upload it asap
i'm doing my report on saturday as well i think, but want to say this already, i really like meeting all of you MFC'ers though i think there's still a lot of you i didn't meet monday (but we're so many so i maybe forgiven )
Can't wait to see it:wink2:
I wish I was in Edinburgh again *sigh* ... I'm not gonna do a review ... you've said it all already anyway ... so there's nothing I can add really ... I don't like not knowing when I'm gonna see him again ...You are a woman after my own heart Nico...............When I looked at that pic I thought that too.................and I was actually on the balcony watching it being takenThanks again everyone for the great reports etc.
AND I agree wholeheartedly that it is MOST painful when we don't know when we are going to see him again
It's awful:aah:
He did say tho that he always ends up doing something:wink2:
.....
.............
......now how much are flights to Brazil ......................................

A link to my Edinburgh photos... hope it works
http://s1005.photobucket.com/albums/af179/MFCerTreasa/Mika%20at%20Edinburgh/
I'm afraid there's quite a lot, hope I don't bore anybody.
Treasa! They are the most aswesome collection!!
Thank you for sharing and i love them .... tho it took me ages to look at them all... ah but it was worth it!! The last one on Ingie and my butts sandwhiched between a euphoric Jazzy is classic:teehee:
i filmed the whole concert, but i don't know how my vid looks like though, only thing i know is that one gets seasick they probably shouldn't watchWow!! where can we get our drink and pop corn to sit and watch the whole gig..REALLY ..in one go?!
True, yet when a M&G happens like it was on Monday (and I'm *very* grateful for it), and you know that he's in a bit of a hurry to get back to the hotel, I don't particularly feel the need to start a whole dialogue with him. I'm just pleased to have met him and to have been able to tell him how much I enjoyed the show. Especially since I had no special project to hand over to him. You know? I guess at other M&G where he's less in a hurry (for instance with the birthday cake in Italy or in Colmar), I'd also feel more inclined to have a proper conversation, given the opportunity. But he is under all circumstances incredibly sweet and friendly. It's always a joy to meet him, frankly.
Yes i agree and lovely to meet you though i always end i feeling i never speak to everyone enuf!! It's a bit like my wedding ..i worried i didn;t spend enuf time with everyone ... Good to meet you
True, I had the chance to give my presents & tell him who they were from (brought some from other fans), ask him for a siggie, tell him how amazing his show was and thank him for it, and he just looked me straight in the eyes, smiled and thanked me like 3 times for that. Yes, I'm that easy to please.*must try not to think about that moment too long/too often*
Think about it all the time
Hey!I just got back home last night, I want to go back so bad, Edinburgh is lovely!
I wrote a report and was ready to post it when I was asked to log in again and now it's gone.
But anyway, I have a new found love of all things Mika.
I travelled with my family for a holiday so I was looking forward to escaping to meet up with fans. I am so grateful that MFC exists because there really are no other people who understand how important Mika gigs are.
The queue was great in spite of the rain I think, well it was as fun as it could be in that weather. I loved meeting all the people that I didn't know online as well, you are all really nice. I'm trying to remember names...Elizabeth from Italy and Alice from France? It was lovely meeting you two! Everyone I met was lovely, so I won't list you all, but you know who you are.
Luke, Ingie and Bubbles, I love you guys! You really made the day fly by, can't wait to see ye again. :
I also loved the number system this time, it was really fair and worked really well. I did feel really proud to be on the MFC when I think it was sariflor who explained what was going on before we all went in the venue. It was really nice that the venue allowed it to work as well. It was great to see all the fans had got near the front.
I haven't even mentioned the concert but it was brilliant. I loved every second of it. That was my sixth one and I feel it's been well rounded off now if Mika dissappears for a year. I'm so glad I went! I just love how every song is so euphoric and fun and he can still turn around and do over my shoulder and change the mood. He is just amazing
I'll really miss Edinburgh, the atmosphere with the fringe was so strong, I loved it there!
I've got so much love for the MFC and Mika right now
I have a few pictures I'll post when they're uploaded...though there's only about 3 from the concert.
Hello! I think i asked you so many times you name on the forum!! i was a bit manic, excuse me:teehee:
lovely to meet another , new for me, lovely person x
Yeh. It wasnt me XD I was a girl wearing a big fluffy hat.Now how come we met on Sunday but not Monday!!!!
-
have spent over 24hrs trying to upload this - in the end my hubby had to help resize the file for me
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKf6aPNu3lM hope you like - has taken enough effort to get it online xx
Brilliant thanks!!
Loved that bit as both Mika and David smile at us when he introduces our home boy ( Viv's boy!) !!
-
Right and Vicky and I happened to read in the other thread that some were complaining about the quickness of the m&g and being all dramatic about it. And I just wanna comment on that saying that you don't pay to meet him but to see his show, the fact that he comes out is an extra. He isn't obliged to meet us but he does it anyway. We should all be grateful for this and stop biatching if we don't get to speak to him longer than 1 second. He is human, he can be tired or he might want to go somewhere else. So I don't want to see any of this moaning again or I shall get Jazzy's fry pan:mf_rosetinted:
Yup:sneaky2:
I seriously missed the bit where I got a frying pan, hahahaha. Wtf is with that?I'll be sorting out all my shiz tomorrow, got a few good snaps, videoed a LOT, but can't be bothered to battle with the terrible wifi.
Oh and if you watch the birthday present giving bit I apologise for my fangurly moment right at the end, how embarrassing, hahahaah.
NO! We all have them:blush-anim-cl:
I'm still high on mine from Monday:wub2:
Freddie - It ALWAYS rains in Scotland period
Thanks everyone for all the fabby reports pics and Vids
only on days with a Y in them Kath!!
Land of my heart for ever, Scotland the Brave!Pictures coming up in a couple of days - to be continued
Hehe, looking forward to staying at your new castle! Glad you had a brilliant time too Vicky, so did I! :Thank you and Neil for being such lovely hosts! And also thank you to my roomies for the great company and the late night and breakfast chats and to Bubbles as my neighbour on the flight back home!
Can't believe we are doing this for more than 3 years already. QUOTE]
I know!! since 2007!! wowo!!!
-
:blush-anim-cl: Sorry - I was an idiot in a hurry and didn't spot that :blush-anim-cl:
Not a problem!!
Before Rose stones me....Watch the end, Rose's face is hilarious:roftl:
You naughty daughter, teasing !!
-
I agree with you about the extended version of Rain Vicky. Loooove it!!
They mean that David is assisting with the keyboard playing. I think they're kind of implying that Mika should be the main player but he's just faffing around dancing and stuff while David does the important bits.
Oh and by the way, this interview is from Glasgow in February, not Fringe.
Yes the David Ran version was one of my all time best things!!
Yes the 2nd review is form Feb ... I'll try to get more today from Monday
wow, already 17 pages?!Just got back online....it was awesome...will post a full report later, also took some pics...
Hello!!
Was good to meet you, we always need longer to chat but i'm so glad you came to Edinburgh and look forward to meeting again!!
-
The gig was great like everyone says ...i think the crowd really got in to it and altough we could tell Mika was a bit tired ...( not that he didn't put in the usual 110%) he really gave it his all.
Great memories for points for me ....
Martin and David interacting with us ... fabby
Mika mentioning Oor Willie ..i think at Billy Brown ...did anyone video this one?

THe Q despite the rain!
The great atmosphere ....
Cherrise's awesome drumming ..she really does keep it all together!!!!!!
killing the band .. LMFAO!
Over my shoulder .... he got emotional again .. i love that song live sooo much
