Simply SUPERB! And I think of Mika whenever I hear "I want candy" as well! He is candy, after all! Although to be honest, every time I watch "Marie Antoinette" (which is every single day, by the way. I'm obsessed ), I must confess, Mika leaves my mind for a couple of minutes because of all the CAKE in that scene!!!! Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmyyyyyyy!!!!

There's a lot to be done for the goodiebox. If you're creative you can work on a drawing or a poster. If not...you can come up a gift for the members. It doesn't have to be bought, you can also make it yourself. Just bring it oooon:roftl:

By far, my best moments not only of the tour, but of the year (and i think that still rings true if i tag january onto the end of 2007...and possible 06, 05, 04...)I truly thank Mika for everything. He is an amazing man and is incredibly sweet and caring. He goes out of his way to make people happy and really does care about his fans. he's not a sell out and stays true to the music, and thats what really counts in the end. With the ability to do what few- or no- others can, he is a lovely Lebanese-American angel who deserves everything he's worked for.

 

I can think of MANY hilights, but these are a few top ones of mine:wink2:

 

Being a lollipop, of course. Words cannot describe how amazing that was and how happy I was. Still haven't recovered fully. Never will- but that's in a good way:wink2:

 

 

Officially meeting Mika and getting to chat with him- If i really need to go into detail on how extremely happy this made me, then let me know and i will write you a nice little book.

of course my hair was a bit flattened by the wig and i was gross, sweaty, and very tired, somehow I was still as happy as can be!

i think that pics too big for my own good tho...oi lol.

 

Of course- the bracelets, i still wear mine, i can't seem to take them off. I've decided to add a month for as long as i can- i HOPE i can continue this until i see him again, gah- hurry up with the album then:wink2: !

Seeing my bracelets on his wrist at the next few shows, flipping out and becoming happier than I have been in a very long time- priceless.

First of all...you are SOOOOO lucky!!! You got to be a lollipop girl!! I mean...DANCING RIGHT NEXT TO MIKA! How lucky could you get??

And third of all...you must be one of the happiest people on earth, seeing as Mika hasn't let go of these beautiful bracelets ever!!!! If I were you...I'd never cry or frown ever again!

I had a headache and once I listened to his record, it was gone. My friends think that's bizarre though, because to them, Mika's music is the source of the headache:thumbdown:

I think so but I have no idea if he has looked at them yet. All I know is that he will love it and he will be comforted by what he reads and sees!

It has been soooooo much fun on the MFC. We've talked to and met some great people on the MFC. Some of the greatest memories we've had is of course our first Mika concert in Chicago at the House of Blues on Feb. 5th 2008. That was one of the best days of our lives!!! We met some great people that day.

Regarding the valentines day project, did all the letters get to him?

It really was an incredible year...for the MFC and Mika. But..just thinking about the fact that the LICM era has come to an end, I can't help but feel weird. Sad. I mean, for a whole year, it was LICM that was all over the place. And now, its over. The album will live on, of course, and it will always be remembered as Mika's first and therefore, most important. It is the album that got all of us "original" 2007 MFCers hooked up on Mika. And now, its over. I know that Mika has several more albums to come, and some of them or maybe even all of them might be even better than LICM, but lets face it...it'll never be the exact same feeling with the rest of the albums, because LICM was the first album of its kind. It just came out and took the world by storm. It was an amazing breath of fresh air. But...again...its over.

I noticed it too, and it was a bit worrying to be honest...

I first heard of Mika in Feb 2007...a year ago. I was kinda depressed so I just switched on the tv and started flipping through some music channels. First I listened to VH1 for a while, because they had this song that I completely love..then the next song sucked, and it was the same for all the other channels. I rarely ever watch MTV, but just because there was nothing else, I got to it, and it was some count down show..oh yeah...the Euro top 20. When I got to MTV, it was the 2nd top song, and it was Avril's "Girlfriend", which I HATE, and I was about to turn off the tv. But luckily, fate intervened, and my mom called me downstairs. After 2 minutes, I made my way back upstairs and "Girlfriend" was just about to end. I was anxious to see who was number 1, so I continued watching. And thank god for that.

The number 1 song was.....you guessed it!! "Grace Kelly"!!!

The first thing that caught my attention was Mika. I have never seen anyone who reminded me of myself as much as he does!! So first it was him, and then the song started. The moment the song started, my life changed forever. I was in such a state of amazement, I couldn't believe my eyes or my ears!! I've never ever heard anything like him before, and I've never ever seen anyone like him before, AND I've never ever been sooo addicted to someone as much as I am with him before!!! The moment the song ended, I RAN to the computer, opened up itunes, typed in his name (which I LOVED!!), and all his available songs came up and I downloaded each and every single one. Ever since then, life suddenly got soooo much better!! Love you, Mika!

As for the MFC, I never actually knew it existed until after my first Mika gig, which explains why I was 9 months late here!
