  1. I can't wait so long for the album!
  2. Read the comments in this thread after the gig, and you will realise why we said all this...
  3. I feel like we're repeating all over again… There are none so deaf as those who will not hear. So, as far as we're concerned, it’s over. But all these beautiful things weren’t said in general, were said referring to the girls who entered the M&G, that is, us. If anyone wants to check it out, it’s clear enough earlier on in this thread. Feel free to read... And it’s not our intention to “rant over”; tired of this already. You can be so sure we do!!
  4. It's not all about a "supposed" rude reply. Lots of things, out of which none of them is true, have been said referring to us: that we climbed over barriers, that we were mad, rude, nasty, disrespectful with another MFCers, that we pushed violently at the barrier, that we pushed and insulted during all the gig, that we are envious, that we had to be tought how to behave, that we are selfish and hysterical, that we don't understad the meaning of respect and manners, that it's the way we act every time and have had some problems with people in the past, that we wanted to jump on someone's conversation with Mika, and had to be told to back off and sit down and stay there, that we would've pester Mika if we hadn't been told off, that we are pushy stupid girls, that we should learn to be civilised Mika fans, etc. I guess you understand that after reading this large amount of fake facts we weren't to keep quiet. Now we just hope not to read again this kind of fake comments and have to refute them after the following events.
  5. During the gig, we were next to Robertina, on the right hand side of the front row: it was Robertina, LeiRe, another girl, and me. And, in the M&G, we were the first to talk to Mika, and gave him two kisses at the end. I think you should remember
  6. Thanks! I’ve just read the message in the original thread Well, I can’t say people did not jump over the fence because I wasn’t on the lookout for it, but you can be utterly sure that neither Leire nor me did jump. I don’t know how it happened to you and Jemma, but I know we didn’t hurt anybody. We just waited and finally entered, that's all.
  7. Thanks for the link!! Well, it isn't hard for me to admit that you're right, Freddie! Maybe it's our fault because we didn't read that message on page 98. It happened that those days we were abroad at another Mika's gig so we couldn't read the forum. I can imagine it was tough for you, but as you’ve said, it was finally a massive success Anyway, I think our attendance wasn't a problem at all. I want to make it clear that we didn't jump or hurt anybody or, definitely, be rude.
  8. Thanks for your explanation I’ve been registered since a year, but actually I don’t really know how all these things work. I’ll try to be as up to date as I can, despite my poor English and my lack of time.
  9. Lately I've read most of the thread and I haven't read anywhere anything about an arranged M&G or an official list to enter. But, as I've said before, John allowed us to enter, he was in front of us and answered to our greetings. I'll try to participate in the forum more often, but I don't have much time to follow all the threads because, fortunately, a lot of people chat here.
  10. Hi! I’m the other girl who entered the M&G in Madrid. I totally agree with every single word Leire has said. We’ve read a lot of things that we can’t understand how people can say. Even from people who weren’t there at that time. I’ve been a registered MFCer since a year as you can see on my profile, so obviously I was when the M&G took place. After the concert, when Freddie was counting the people and I was near to him, I was asked my nick and I told him. But I didn’t appear in the list because I didn’t even know there was one. So, what could we do to enter the M&G if we didn’t know we needed to be in a list? Was that list public in the MFC forum? I think all of us are equal fans, no matter if we are registered or not. And I don’t think Mika would be proud of this kind of things between his fans. I don’t want to discuss who deserved it better, but we were the only ones who had been the day before in Benicàssim, where we waited for him for 18 hours. We told Mika we’d see him next day in Madrid and he told us “hasta mañana”. We hadn’t slept anything in almost 3 days to see him in the first row in both places and meet him. So I think that’s a real proof of being a fan. By the way... we even stood in the first row some hours before Mika’s gig and had to listen to My Bloody Valentine from there and suffer all the pushing! It was a nightmare! During the concert there was no pushing at all because we were all in the first row, so it would be meaningless. Besides, we wouldn’t have pushed anyone in any case. And we didn’t say anything, bad or good, to any fan because we were only watching Mika. After the concert, we just waited our turn to enter. We weren’t rude and, of course, we didn’t jump over barriers and we didn’t see anybody doing it. We all were being pushed, but there was nothing serious. I suddenly heard a girl screaming away from us, but I thought it was because she was nervous. We didn’t force anything, we just waited. John didn’t ask us to go out because maybe he realized we had been waiting for hours the day before because we talked several times during those hours. We didn’t spoil the M&G and our attendance wasn’t a problem for anybody. We are quiet fans, and weren’t going to take pics, or ask for autographs because we already had, so we needn’t. So we would’ve behaved the same way although we hadn’t been said not to do it. We were the first to talk to Mika because we were closer to him. We just talked and, after that, we stood in our place and we didn’t open our mouths. I can’t understand how some of you can say we’ve had problems with you. When? Leire and I have never ever talked to you. It can't be the way we act everytime with you because we've never met or talked, so I hope we can clear it up. We don’t want to have problems with any of you and we don’t have anything against you. We haven’t answered before because we hadn’t read that part of the thread until now. We don’t have much time to read everything that is written in the forum, but we hope we can solve it now See you!

  13. Rock against injustice Some of the biggest names in rock and pop music are being lined up for a massive concert in London in December for ROCK AGAINST INJUSTICE, a gig to bring awareness to the people of the unjust extradition treaty between the UK and USA that is about to see a number of British citizens including Gary McKinnon thrown out of the UK without trial or proof of any guilt. Comedian Russell Brand has been invited to host and compere the event and names that are being approached include George Michael, Bob Geldof, Sting, Mark Knopfler, Rod Stewart, Marillion, Squeeze, Mika and many others! The event will also raise money for ASPERGERS SYNDROME, as Gary McKinnon was diagnosed as a sufferer recently. The organisers are now in discussions with a number of venues including the 02 Arena, Wembley Arena, The Royal Albert Hall and the NEC. Senior front bench Conservative and Liberal MP's are behind a review to the extradition treaty but the Labour leadership refuses to debate the document in the house. Many British citizens say "their blood is boiling" over this issue and that there elected representatives are not acting in the interests of the British people. Mark Kelly from legendary 60's band Marillion was the first to contact the organisers pledging his support and saying this is a cause that people need to get behind. PLEASE fellow journalists -help us publicise this event and get even more people on board - we need PROMOTERS and HELPERS urgently. 14. Jordan Festival Instead of Jerash Festival? Being Jordanian, i grew up with the annual Jerash Festival and all that it's got to offer from concerts, plays, poetry reciting and other interesting fun things! I just came across the strangest news that Jerash Festival is going to be substituted by a new one called Jordan Festival! Does that make sense? Jerash Festival happens every year in July and August and thus this year will be a transitional year for the new festival which will commence in 2009 to commemorate 10 years of the reign of King Abdallah II. Maybe this new festival will be fun and interesting too, but Jerash was special and has been around since the 80's, so it's no easy thing letting go! More about Jordan Festival after the jump ... The 2009 festival is being planned from now! There are big names on the list of performers like Amr Diab, Elissa, Ragheb Alameh, Fadel Shaker, Assi Hillani, Cheb Khaled and Faudel! There are huge names expected to make an appearance as well like the famous Opera singer Plácido Domingo and the popular singer Mika! Yes! Mika is coming to Jordan! The new festival is going to be held in various places around the Kingdom like Amman, Jerash, Petra and the Dead Sea. It sounds like a good idea, i hope the responsible people will organize things well and be up to the job to make it a real success! Source: http://www.waleg.com/archives/012730.html

  16. Summer music festivals back on in Lebanon BEIRUT (AFP) — Summer music festivals in Lebanon, which usually attract visitors in their thousands, are back this year after being silenced by war and political instability, organisers announced on Thursday. "What we are seeing today is an expression of the true face of Lebanon after this difficult period and after the dark cloud has passed," Tourism Minister Joe Sarkis said at a press conference unveiling plans for the Beiteddine Festival, one of the most prestigious. "Today we are facing a new future for Lebanon... and a promising summer that expresses our love of culture and our love of life." Several festivals were forced to cancel in 2006 because of the devastating July-August war between Israel and Hezbollah and again in 2007 over the protracted political crisis and a deadly standoff between the army and Islamist militiamen in a Palestinian refugee camp. "The Beiteddine Festival has been held for more than 26 years," festival committee vice president Wafa Saab told AFP. "In that time, we have only had to cancel the last two years though there have been times in the past that we had to cancel particular shows but not the festival as a whole." Other music extravaganzas are also set to return this year, including the Baalbek festival which is held in the shadows of the ruins of an ancient Roman temple near the border with Syria, according to one of the organisers. The Beiteddine shows run from July 11 to August 12 in a palatial 19th century residence in the Shouf mountains southeast of Beirut, an area of green hills and traditional villages that is a popular tourist attraction. Among those set to take the stage are Brazilian singer and culture minister Gilberto Gil, as well as Iraqi, Lebanese and Moroccan musicians. In previous years, Beiteddine has hosted the likes of Elton John, opera singer Andrea Bocelli and tenor Placido Domingo. Beiteddine and Baalbek organisers are also co-sponsoring a concert by Lebanese-born pop sensation Mika in Beirut on July 27. Here, the same news: http://www.lematin.ma/Actualite/Express/Article.asp?id=92047 Le Festival de Baalbeck, qui n'a pas encore publié le programme de sa prochaine édition, co-organisera notamment le 27 juillet un concert du chanteur Mika, né à Beyrouth d'une mère libanaise et d'un père américain.
