Yes, I agree, that is a shame. :(  How can we encourage them to post the full songs here? I mean, they could do like Mara does, posting on YouTube and we could share the links to the videos here. I see very few posts with the entire songs even on Instagram, just snippets.

I like filming also some full songs but they are in instagram form and I haven’t posted there yet not to spoil too much but I will post them later.

I’ve just read @tiibet’s Facebook post and she mentioned that Mika being surrounded by golden things symbolizes materialism to her (if I’m saying this wrong, please correct me, Nina!). Surrounding himself with expensive looking things, enjoying it in a way, but in the end also walking away from it at the end of the video. I actually tend to agree with her. The worth of life is not in materialism, in the end is love - what the song is ultimately about, even though it gets quite physical.

Oh thanks for reading my rambling Saturday afternoon thoughts! I wasn't actually thinking of the word "materialism" at that point, I was simply looking at him in the middle of those items that are painted golden and wondered if they represent something that is real gold (something that is genuinely valuable) or something that is made to look like gold (maybe something expensive that people seem to want). And he was dancing there and seemed to enjoy himself and then he left the room.

@dcdeb  I agree with you about the fallen angel, that was my first thought as well. He looks exactly like fallen angels in films and I thought I watch too much Netflix but I guess someone else does as well, they made him look so exact. I would really like to see the wings on stage but of course, who knows what he plans.

More than the angel theme the scene makes me think of our moral decisions. Whatever took him in a situation where he feels the world is crushing him was still something he knew is the right thing to do because that's what guides his actions. Also, I guess I want to think the ending a bit differently. Mika can occasionally feel that world is crushing him but I want to believe in the end he's the one who is holding it. He does what he feels is right and in the end he holds the world in his hands.

The video is basically a music video filmed in an art exhibition but I really like the result. They have managed to create several scenes  that can be seen so differently. Very thought-provoking, love it when he does that. I've always liked this collaboration, very good quality.

  3. A long shot, I know, but I’m looking for a ticket for Dublin. I have one for myself but I would like to take my son as well. This is such a long tour that I’m buying a few tickets for my family as well just to be able to see them! Luckily they like Mika and his music and have already seen some shows in the past. Please contact me if any extra.

Edit: just bought the missing ticket 👍

As far as how many, I'd say 15-20 sounds about right, based on feedback we've had here. Only 14 have RSVPed on the calendar, but I guess that some of those won't be there the night before, as they live locally. I've tweeted about it, but I have 13 names that I think are pretty sure so far. Who am I missing?

    Deb
    Andrea
    Karin

    Rose
    Chiara

    Deb (frenchfan84)
    Prisca
    Fanny
    Mara
    Nina

    Ani

    Camille

    Anna

I agree with Karin about the time - I think 7pm for dinner sounds about right. If anyone is around they can always drop in to the restaurant early to have a drink, right?

As far as where, I think if you start calling 1-2 places to find availability, the "where" will sort of be decided for you. My vote goes for the Stable pizza place as it seems big enough, has a good menu, seems to be near the water, and PIZZA. But as I said before I'm flexible, so wherever we end up will be fine with me. Thanks!

Will be so good to see you again, Deb! I will happily join any dinner or meeting. Not sure I can eat anything at the pizza place but will be nice to meet everyone.

How you were able to get that from iTunes, for me it says no. And you can listen any music you own in Spotify.

What happens if you click the link? I was offered to buy iTunes Store when I click someone’s link. Also, Spotify worked for me when I used the link Mika tweeted (just not in app). I haven’t tried Amazon France but I’ve bought there digital material before. I know it can be a problem though. I haven’t managed to buy older symphonic albums anywhere.

Why it’s so difficult to be Mika’s Finn fan! :banghead:  This supposed to be the happiest place in the world and I can’t even order from the same stores then most in the Europe.

I bought this song from the iTunes Store and if I use the link Mika tweeted I can open it on Spotify as well (however, it’s not available on the app).

Yesterday, I completed the procedures to get all my tickets to be refunded. Took me a lot of time.

Except that I have 3 tickets than cannot be refunded as I get the following message :

The ticket/order you entered is not refundable. Please make sure all data you provided is correct or access the Ticketone website, www.ticketone.it/covid19 page, and verify that the ticket relates to a canceled/rescheduled event and that for the relevant event the terms and method of reimbursement provided by the Organizer are active.

    - 1 ticket for ASSAGO, Mediolanum Forum (Milano)

    - 1 ticket for Milano Arcimboldi

    - 1 ticket for Firenze Forum

I just sent an email to assistenza@friendsandpartners.it to get their assistance since the refund has to be done before the 7th of September.

I case someone else has the same problem, please don't hesitate to let me know how you could solve the situation!

@dcdebif you have a clue, I would be more than happy to get it :wink2:

    Thanks, Isa.

Isa, I've had the same problem with several of my tickets. Yesterday I got this message when I filled the form in English, then tried again with the form in Italian and it went through. Probably it's not about the language, you just need to try several times and it can get through. Maybe the site is occasionally too busy. I have still many tickets to try. If I can't get the form through I will just leave it. I don't have energy to deal with the Italian customer service.

  8. Today I spent hours at the Ticketone site trying and crying and as the result of more than 30 tickets (that I had bought for myself and my family) I managed to fill the refund form for 9 tickets. The form won't go through and gives the message some others have received as well or the site throws me out and when I try again it says the ticket is being processed already (even though it's not, I hadn't completed the form before being thrown out). I have to say that the site is a nightmare, I don't think we will get all the refunds. I will continue tomorrow, too tired to try more today.

Such a sad task to ask refunds for gig tickets but it's been even sadder to see people's reactions. I will never learn to understand how being harsh and rude and lacking empathy could be somehow normal or even morally rightful. This is an awful situation for Mika in every way and will probably cost him a lot as well.

That's because Nina sees Mika through the eyes of a fan, you can feel the love in her photos and that she knows and closely follows Mika for over a decade. While a professional photographer takes the pictures to earn money with them, and even tho they might like Mika, they will photograph him like they photograph other concerts as well, with technical and artistic knowledge in mind, while a fan has Mika and his music on their mind. Paired with the technical and artistic skills in photography that Nina also has, her pictures are by far the best.

    @tiibet

I just read this and oh Karin, you are so kind saying all this! I guess it's obvious how much I love taking photos of Mika, he just looks incredibly beautiful on stage and photos help me later to remember all the details and show elements, and if you can see my pictures are taken with love then I think I've reached my goal. Thank you for your words and thanks everyone who has said kind and supportive words! ❤️

The camera I used at Coachella followed their written rules very carefully, it was a one piece camera with no detachable lens (and that way seen non-professional) and luckily it didn't cause me any troubles at the gates. Coachella is a huge event and they seemed to just follow their instructions literally. However, I doubt I can automatically carry the camera at European festivals, it's heavy and looks more professional than usually allowed and festival securities can be strict in a not logical way.

Being able to take photos at Coachella was a dream come true for me and it was quite an effort, both financially and just being there alone, but seeing the performance made that effort feel like nothing, it was an amazing blooming surprise, and that Mika later wanted to share my photos was a huge thing to me, it really has a huge meaning. He's a very kind and generous man.

So did anyone else get standing tickets for any of the shows? Very curious as to where exactly that will be. Actually the fact that suddenly a standing ticket was available, although they're not even mentioned on the website, was the reason I decided to buy a ticket (for the family show of the grand final) - sitting far away just isn't the kind of experience I'm looking for. I was told they're right in front of the stage and usually reserved for ESC fanclubs, but seems they had a few spares for general sale.

On the ESC live blog they posted this picture today... there's not much space between the stage and the Green Room, from where the contestants will be watching. Looks like there's some sort of benches?

I didn't see any standing places when I bought my tickets so I guess those were leftovers from fan clubs? Sounds very cool to be that close to the stage! I wanted to try local fan club tickets but I read that those are reserved to only those who have been members for a longer time so I didn't join and bought general sales instead. It was very hectic and it was not easy to choose so I just bought the best I got and have different places each night. I'm going to be in Torino the whole week and I got tickets for all the other shows but not for the grande finale and it feels a bit disappointing to miss the biggest event to honest, so I hope I can still find a ticket but people are asking triple prices and that's just too much for me so I haven't bought yet. Still happy to be there and see the whole madness during the week and see Mika's performance at least at the rehearsals.

  11. If anyone managed to buy an extra for the Eurovision final live show I would be more than willing to buy. It offered me tickets as pairs so maybe someone got two and needs only one? Please let me know either using DM here or on twitter or other social media. I tried cat 1 but interested in buying any category of course.

Hum... I still find quite strange that this only little bit of a long interview ended up on THIS particular song by chance ,and no one realizing that there was an editing mistake  :naughty:

I know! And particularly everything else being so very carefully considered! Not sure I buy it that no one spotted the error ♥️ Whether it was there totally accidentally or left on purpose, I thought it was cute.

About the other little accident and the situation with the cameraman, it didn't bother me at all. It reminded me of gigs. There are always accidents or "accidents" or things that might have been accidents once but are later repeated simply because they are fun and offer suitable joking moments with the audience. It's a part of the show and I thought they wanted to add a little bit similar spirit. Not that easy when the actual audience is behind their screens.

LOL, that was an editing error, it was a part of the subtitle from the story of Michele Homsy :wink2: ( but your view is nice :teehee:)   Probably because they have been in a rush in the last minute and overlooked it:

Oh I loved this! Obviously it was an editing error but such a cute little mistake, I think. The beginning of the show was extremely emotional and this made me smile. Precious.

The intro before the music started was incredibly poetic, he had the audience and everyone’s attention from the very start. His feelings towards this city were so clear and I got the feeling it’s good for him to embrace his Lebanese roots, it seems so important to him.

I felt empathy for those people so strongly and I guess that was the biggest purpose of the night, to understand what the city is going through. I was also impressed by the way he did it, how elegant it all was, there was beauty in every meaningful detail, and how with all those stunning guests Mika was still the biggest star. It was totally his night.  So proud of him and his team.

    04/04 schedule at Lollapalooza Brasil
Mika will perform on Onix Stage, from 14:10 to 14:55

So he's performing in the middle of the day? That would be cool to see. I will be in Sao Paolo for April 2 and in Rio for April 5 and I hadn't planned this April 4 at all but maybe I should stay in Sao Paolo for it. I just can't find any easy information. Where exactly is this? I mean the exact location? Is it easy to get there? If the location is not too complicated maybe I should consider this one too.
