Mika would probably be less than Girls Aloud - not been around so long or had so many hits x even so, several of us would have to win the lottery x nice dream though x

Just found a newspaper article that gives the estimates of what some artists charge for a private gig x Mika not on the list, but just as an idea of costs Girls Aloud - £250,000 Westlife - £500,000 Robbie Williams - 1 million Fingers crossed for several of us to win the lottery over several weeks x

Maybe it's just the way I look at this song, but I see it in an almost political way x if you think about Raffas words and our boy being shifted from country to country as a youngster it makes sense x in many parts of the developing world people are killed, hurt or displaced by regimes that always seem to be led by some guy with a monster chip on his shoulder x people try to make the best of their situations and live as well as they can in alien surroundings x

Theres loads of things I'd put in the gift basket, it's just a problem picking out special things that would be appreciated x

Lots of people put together selections of gifts, I was just thinking to include some local stuff and there's a shop in my town that makes it's own soaps and toiletries x I also found a hand carved chicken, maybe that should go in there too... x:roftl:

Not such a weird thing - I have just recently discovered bar shampoo, it's natural and handmade x I was also thinking of putting some in a little gift basket I want to put together for Mika when I can finally get to a gig x

I always thought the 1st spoken line was a hired voice actress speaking received pronounciation (old style bbc english) and the "getting angry..." line is definately Mika but with the pitch changed, you can hear his slight accent on the word "solve" x it never occured to me to find out who did the last line x

Finally got through reading this thread x as lots of others have said before I'll say again THANK YOU to everyone who went and have been kind enough to share their pics, vids and experiences with us x What a show it must have been, to be there x I had my doubts in the beginning, clowns being a phobia of mine and circus things feeling a bit weird to me, but somehow it worked x Just can't wait now til I get a chance to see it for real when I can finally get to a gig x
