Seing that he has -or rather had as he has moved out- one pinned up above his bed, nothing surprising there . If he wants to put the flag above his four poster when he has moved over to the Forêt de Fontainebleau area, he has my heartfelt blessing.

I skipped the last ten pages of this thread because I have a busy life at the moment and anyway I wanted to make a candid statement, independently from other opinions :

The video : a masterpiece. With few means, probably reasonably cheap but as effective as MJ's Black or White one without needing to mortgage number 10 to make it .

As for his coming out with it ?

To the people who, being girls are confident they'll be the first to turn him , the gay guys who've been since they first set eyes on him and the straight ones who think that, given Sire's laser beam size, it shouldn't be too painful ... one question and one statement :

If he's just gone out on video, what the heck was he doing in the Love Today one, macramé ?

If all gawky adolescents who, half-naked in their room, dance in a particularly silly way to the sound of their fave album were gay, reproduction of the species might become an issue and our planet would soon be much less crowded .

Sire is a genius, albeit an horripilating man, he does what he sees fit with his family jewels -not the ones he borrows from his aunties and mum - and he probably wees himself when he realises how well he can confuse issues with a little help from his faithful fans' tendency to live in denial .

I really don't see the reason for quibbling over semantics. The bottom line

is that whether you're on the MFC "guestlist" or the "official" guestlist,

you won't have to pay, and you will get entry to the gig. And that's

really what matters, right?

I have been watching this thread in a kind of detached way -well, as soon as I secured the auction tickets for the blond midget, anyway- and I noticed that since people realised that they would more or less all get tickets, so that there was nothing to worry about, they have been :

- bickering at each other ...

as if to take their minds off the mouting tension of an upcoming Sire gig.

Plus don't forget it's a free gig, people will come over because they have won a ticket but won't necessarily be Mica's fans so they are unlikely to show the same respect and friendliness towards others than at 'regular' concerts. Better bring Santa with you ...

when i rang up ticketmaster they said ur got 2 have photo id when you pick them up, but when your got them you can do what you want with them yeah like im going to give them away but you cant pick your tickets 48 hours before the gig aawwww really hope your not been done

the Camden Roundhouse this coming Friday, 31 July.

 

Well, fear not! I, the Ticket Fairy, have come to your rescue!

 

The first 50 REGISTERED MFC members to send an email to

8 P.M. UK time on Tuesday 28 July

will receive a ticket (or be put on a guestlist,

we haven't quite worked that out yet) for this show!

I know at the Roundhouse they have quite a few crane cameras because the All American Rejects filmed a DVD there a few months ago, so hopefully there won't be too many cameras down the front. Koko's not particularly great when they've got cameras because they haven't got a sloping floor either so if you're down on the floor it's not a great view, but Roundhouse is a little better.

 

Thanks for the heads up though, I'll bear it in mind when I'm there and try and dodge the cameras and security. =]

Ugh, I hate when you sing along and get odd looks. Like for Holy Johnny and How Much Do You Love Me at Brixton. We were standing with these girls who were quite nice to us but really rude to some other woman so I didn't really like them, and I liked them even less when I got weird looks singing along to songs that they didn't know. Pfft.

 

Hopefully those who haven't got tickets will have lovely emails waiting for them at some point today, and for those who haven't entered yet (though I'm assuming you all have) there's a competition on the ITV site in the itunes section for tickets, train fare and a hotel for the night for Friday, worth a try, even if the chances of winning are minuscule, someone has to get them.

 

I'll try and get a few good videos while I'm there (whilst pretending to not *actually* be filming) and I'll get them up on Youtube once I'm home so hopefully those who don't get to go can see some of it. =]

Can you really see people around you when Sire's on stage ? I can't .

Well, I haven't been to a M gig since July 2008 but I noticed on utube that he did it at a few of the acoustic tour concerts. Not one you went to ?

I find him funny when he takes that kind of snobbish half witted accent . Perhaps it was more outrageous than ever at Latitude ?
