  1. If it's like any other gig it will probably start around 8.30pm (assuming doors open at 7.30) and it'll finish before 11pm.

Edit: Just saw Laurel's post of doors opening at 6pm.. Guess it'll start earlier.

And is the other singer the opening act  ?

    Cheers,

  2. Booked coach as back up .... it's refundable so if I don't use it I can get my money back .... I'm not getting this far and being screwed by train people

    (

Tut tut, language :sneaky2: ! Very young MFCers browse these threads  .

Seriously, the fight to get your ticket then this, you must feel absolutely murderous :furious::bonk: :sniper: ...

    Cheers,

  3. I am blonde. I am 5'1". I am a woman. Draw your own conclusions. :insane:

Actually, AC, the other blond midget I was referring to is only 5' a bi' of an inch, so she beats you, midgetwise :wink2: .

As for being more or less of an :insane::freak::fangurl: than you, it's difficult for me to judge, I don't know you very well but apparently other MFCers are ready to give you excellent references :naughty: .

    Cheers,

  4. then i hope the ticket fairy comes through.... his chorus may be a few back up singers :teehee:

about the colors... black isn't a very good color to wear in the sun. people will be so hot!

    The WHAT ? ! :floor:

Bring your fur coats, girls :wink2: ...

    Cheers,

  5. Well...................I spot a few flaws in the plan:naughty:

A I am working till 2pm on 31st then leaping on a Ryanair flight and

    B I am not a Scot:naughty:

    A. I see... well just come over with your duvet, your hair undone and looking like a sleepless  . He'll think you've spent the night in front of the venue and will crack.

    B. No problemo : if you have lived in Scotland long enough, the natives must have rubbed off on you, hence the cunning :wink2: .

    Cheers,

  6. For people who are attending the gig for sure but also for others who are waiting the touch of the fortune:

Mister M told us that he ("absolutely yes") will play We are Golden live at Itunes Festival :thumb_yello:

So, start to exercises and training with the chorus because the choir is by the attending public :original:

Sorry, Allegra, nothing personal, I never shoot the messenger, but does he honestly believe that fans are interested in the setlist or whether he wants them to be soberly dressed in black and white :blush-anim-cl: instead of flashily  like him ?

As far as I have been able to gather from this thread... they want frigging tickets :sneaky2: !

    Cheers,

    Id3

  7. Laurel is kindly supplying me with a duvet so that I can sleep on her hotel room floor.....but I don't have a ticket:teehee:

Brilliant ! With a duvet, you can camp in front of the venue from the 30th, then after a sleepless night you'll look so endearing  that Sire will give you a ticket, that's for sure :thumb_yello: !

You are cunning, but then aren't all Scots :wink2: ?

    Cheers,

  8. I think this was cleared up for you last night but I just wanted to add my comment that I AM indeed VERY happy for you. I am DELIGHTED for you. You will have a fantastic time.

As Soaring Simpson said....many people are paying a lot of money to travel to London. I myself am paying far more that I usually do for flights to London as it is short notice. With all the other bits (airport parking and transfers into Central London) I am paying far more that I even want to think about......particularly as I don't even have a ticket. But as many people have said, we all make our choices and it is not up to anyone else to judge.

That's about the top and bottom of it:naughty:

I must have missed an episode... or dreamed a non existent one : I was 200% sure that a lucky MFCer had invited you ?

    Cheers,

  9. thats up to the boss!!! thats the other lover :roftl: but he wants a night away from the kids so who knows but anyone who wants to meet me b4 or after 4 alittle beer or so im well up 4 it :roftl: just let me know. and im sorry if i come acrossed like no1 liked me i just feel abit evey1 hates me 4 it but put it this way the cars not getting payed 4 this week

Wow, wow, wow ! Wait a mn ! 4 pm ? But the queue will be huge at that time, and I don't believe there will be two queues, one for the lucky devils just waiting to pick up their tickets and one for the full of hope ones waiting for a ticket shower from the Lord.

Sorry to mention your height, but seeing your pic with Sire, if you are not first row you'll enjoy the sight of an ocean of butts :sneaky2: ... unless Santa is tall and sits you on his shoulder :huglove: ?

Talking about midgets and being ready to pay 1000 bucks for a ticket, I know another blonde dwarf who would happily have done it too. Do you think that being a woman, very short and blond goes with being an :insane::freak: as well  ? Interesting...

As for (stop using the figure 4, it's a bit confusing) anyone hating you, please, don't be such a drama queen, that's my job here :wink2: .

  10. Wait, he's not running away! He's dancing to the rockin' tunes of Mika!

Sorry we are off topic again.

Well the latests on itunes as far as I am concerned is that I don't have tickets and the ticket fairy hasn't been yet.

    Does she exist?

Oh yes, she does, if she is the TF I am thinking of, she is dark, lovely, adorable :wub2: ... but there may be two of them, such efficiency can't be coming from just one person :roftl: !

    Cheers,

    Id3

  11. im so lucky to have a boyfriend who loves me like that as he sees mika as the other man :teehee: i wanted to take someone off mfc but as its in his name does that 'really' mean his got to go???? :boxed: i will look in to it :blush-anim-cl:

As long as you don't call him 'Mica' when you guys, you know, are... having dinner :blush-anim-cl: , as in 'Mica, pass the salt please.', it should be ok.

Anyway you might be surprised to have access to his dreams too :naughty: .

And yes, you must take him with you, they won't give the tickets to anybody else, they may say 'perhaps' but just imagine you've queued up for hours and the box-office refuse to deliver the tickets to you  ... plus the least you can do is to invite Santa, you ungrateful girl. You don't deserve him :sneaky2: !

    Cheers,

    Id3

  12. Please excuse me, I have nothing interesting to say (doesn't usually stop me from posting) but I am leaving now and just need to post so that I know where to pick the thread up again..............I don't want to miss anything vital:biggrin2:

Sweet dreams :wink2: ... may the Ticket Fairy look after you.

    Cheers,

    Id3

  13. :biggrin2:

You don't want me to say anything?

I don't think 85 pounds is too much. Free is better, of course. I cannot make it, but I would have paid that... :naughty:

SHE can't afford it. SHE doesn't judge.

Love, you are wise beyond your years. You are -or should be- an example to us all :wink2: .

    Cheers,

  14. The thing is, ID3, that noone is complaining about you wanting to spend a fortune on these tickets, that is your own choice and it's not our job to critisize or judge that. I do, however, have a problem with the way that you try to trick others into doing the same. You don't know if Mika would give a hoot abour this, so please stop writing as if you did. I'm not gonna change my opinion on anything or buy something based on what Mika would find flattering, but it annoys me to see you constantly posting this kind of rubbish. Would you get some sort of perverted satisfaction out of a youngling spending all their savings on something that was supposed to be for free or what the hell is your aim with this?

I should hope not, especially as I didn't bid for myself but for somebody else who was out of reach of the Internet at the time.

I have more respect for people's intelligence, I know that teasing them -it was a joke, not anyone can take them obviously- wouldn't make them bid one inch higher.

I don't KNOW what Mica would think about it, I just listen, watch, and not only when he is performing. I think he is 'frighteningly', to borrow the word from a journalist, ambitious, and that's a blessing or we wouldn't be enjoying his music. I don't get less pleasure from his talent because I believe that he is not a Mother Teresa in tight pants.

I don't get satisfaction out of people -whether they are young or old- spending all their savings on a gig ticket, and it's none or my -our- business, but I certainly wouldn't judge them if they did, and enjoyed it thoroughly.

It would be mad, but madness doesn't make me uncomfortable, especially sweet madness, the kind of madness that doesn't hurt others.

  15. I've contacted both .... :aah: It's just on the cokezone email it says they've sent my details to Itunes who will be in contact with me to send me my eticket - so as far as cokezone goes ... I have the email I need from them ... it's Itunes who are holding me up now ... I need both email's to get in .... I still have days for them to send it so am not too worried yet ... I'm sure they'll send me it ... they'd better :aah:

    :lmao:

Sorry, I shouldn't be laughing, especially as we have all been there, yours truly included, but they are brilliant at that little game :thumb_yello: : sorry, we have done our job, it's the other guys you should contact now... or : sorry, we are so ready to send you your ticket/ep/badges we have already licked the stamps, but the manufacturer hasn't sent them to us yet, so we are stuck.

Of course you'll get them, no question about it, and if you don't, see JCD on the day of the gig, HE'll sort things out for you.

He may not be a fairy, Ticket or otherwise, but he is a wizard  .

    Cheers,

  16. Here here ... cos' the day Mika is happy for his fans to shell out £85.00 on a ticket is the day I jump ship ... I haven't done it for Madonna or any other artist I like ... I won't do it for him either .... concert prices nowadays are a flipping joke anyway :aah:

    :(

    Flattered, most certainly :blush-anim-cl: .

He is an am!bitous artist, wanting to make it, go very high, already on his way there, and every single sign that it's happening and that his talent is acknowledged must delight him :dance_man: .

Forunately we don't all react in the same way, or we would be a very boring bunch of fans.

I don't think I would roam the planet as Sara does, still I am very happy for her and, obnoxious as I am, I would never criticise her when she is at her most decadent :wink2: .

Or we could also argue that 40 pds for the acoustic tour tickets -that's what they more or less cost, wasn't it ?- is a shame because with that money you could feed some families for a week...

The value of anything is in the eye of its buyers and they have every right to spend their money as they see fit. And enjoyable.

    Cheers,

  17. I really wish that people would stop this nonsense about the UK being "privileged". It could actually be argued that it's a bit the opposite: The UK often doesn't get as many gigs as other places if you compare it by population ratio (as a recent example the SFS acoustic tour, but also last summer without going any further).

When we do get gigs here, they are the most overcrowded and therefore rowdy ones, where on top of having to "fight" their way to the front against a much higher percentage of hardcore fans people also face a much more rushed Mika at the end, who tends to escape to some function or just home.

So much for the "being privileged" theory :biggrin2:

By 'being privileged', and I will remind you of the fact that I was answering Laurel's post complaining about the tickets not having reached her yet, not commenting on the number of gigs per country, I only meant that at least you UK residents don't have to queue up to get your bleeding tickets :sneaky2: , they are sent to you.

They are not outside the UK, which seetickets, for instance, didn't have the honesty to warn us about and I gave up on Latitude for that reason and offered my ticket for free to a friend of mine.

Sandbag did try to send them, with their usual efficiency :roftl: , but apparently many outside UK residents didn't receive them on time and had to collect them at the box office.

In the same way, and although I don't keep tabs, most UK residents seem to have received their Songs for Sorrow eps, some of them a few weeks ago, I have just received mine :pbjt: but some people are still waiting for theirs.

I'll admit that the word 'privileged' was not appropriate : actually, receiving what you have paid for is just normal service... only some of us don't get it, some of us do.

As a French comedian said in a sketch : 'We are all equal, some people are just more equal than others' :lmao: .

  18. I really hope it doesnt make him feel good to see his most devoted fans need to spend 200 quid to see him when luckier people who don't give a damn about him get in for free.:sneaky2:

And this is exactly why we're trying to work with the ticket fairy to get hold of tickets. But like Sara just said, unfortunately, we have no news yet.

I wish I could wear rose tinted glasses too, but they definitely make me look too camp :blush-anim-cl: .

I do believe that when Sire sees how flatteringly high the bids went :blush-anim-cl: the last thing on his mind will be his over the clock queuing up, or dowright bankrupt fans.

    The Ticket Fairy, yesss.

    Cheers,
