  1. A. I see... well just come over with your duvet, your hair undone and looking like a sleepless . He'll think you've spent the night in front of the venue and will crack. B. No problemo : if you have lived in Scotland long enough, the natives must have rubbed off on you, hence the cunning . Cheers, Id3
  2. Sorry, Allegra, nothing personal, I never shoot the messenger, but does he honestly believe that fans are interested in the setlist or whether he wants them to be soberly dressed in black and white instead of flashily like him ? As far as I have been able to gather from this thread... they want frigging tickets ! Cheers, Id3
  3. Brilliant ! With a duvet, you can camp in front of the venue from the 30th, then after a sleepless night you'll look so endearing that Sire will give you a ticket, that's for sure ! You are cunning, but then aren't all Scots ? Cheers, Id3
  4. Silly, but not unusual, he does it all the time. On stage anyway. Cheers, Id3
  5. OMG, the middle one, he looks like a baby being pot trained . Brilliant, thanks Dani ! Cheers, Id3
  6. I must have missed an episode... or dreamed a non existent one : I was 200% sure that a lucky MFCer had invited you ? Cheers, Id3
  7. Wow, wow, wow ! Wait a mn ! 4 pm ? But the queue will be huge at that time, and I don't believe there will be two queues, one for the lucky devils just waiting to pick up their tickets and one for the full of hope ones waiting for a ticket shower from the Lord. Sorry to mention your height, but seeing your pic with Sire, if you are not first row you'll enjoy the sight of an ocean of butts ... unless Santa is tall and sits you on his shoulder ? Talking about midgets and being ready to pay 1000 bucks for a ticket, I know another blonde dwarf who would happily have done it too. Do you think that being a woman, very short and blond goes with being an as well ? Interesting... As for (stop using the figure 4, it's a bit confusing) anyone hating you, please, don't be such a drama queen, that's my job here . Cheers, Id3
  8. Oh yes, she does, if she is the TF I am thinking of, she is dark, lovely, adorable ... but there may be two of them, such efficiency can't be coming from just one person ! Cheers, Id3
  9. As long as you don't call him 'Mica' when you guys, you know, are... having dinner , as in 'Mica, pass the salt please.', it should be ok. Anyway you might be surprised to have access to his dreams too . And yes, you must take him with you, they won't give the tickets to anybody else, they may say 'perhaps' but just imagine you've queued up for hours and the box-office refuse to deliver the tickets to you ... plus the least you can do is to invite Santa, you ungrateful girl. You don't deserve him ! Cheers, Id3
  10. SHE can't afford it. SHE doesn't judge. Love, you are wise beyond your years. You are -or should be- an example to us all . Cheers, Id3
  11. I should hope not, especially as I didn't bid for myself but for somebody else who was out of reach of the Internet at the time. I have more respect for people's intelligence, I know that teasing them -it was a joke, not anyone can take them obviously- wouldn't make them bid one inch higher. I don't KNOW what Mica would think about it, I just listen, watch, and not only when he is performing. I think he is 'frighteningly', to borrow the word from a journalist, ambitious, and that's a blessing or we wouldn't be enjoying his music. I don't get less pleasure from his talent because I believe that he is not a Mother Teresa in tight pants. I don't get satisfaction out of people -whether they are young or old- spending all their savings on a gig ticket, and it's none or my -our- business, but I certainly wouldn't judge them if they did, and enjoyed it thoroughly. It would be mad, but madness doesn't make me uncomfortable, especially sweet madness, the kind of madness that doesn't hurt others. Cheers, Id3
  12. Sorry, I shouldn't be laughing, especially as we have all been there, yours truly included, but they are brilliant at that little game : sorry, we have done our job, it's the other guys you should contact now... or : sorry, we are so ready to send you your ticket/ep/badges we have already licked the stamps, but the manufacturer hasn't sent them to us yet, so we are stuck. Of course you'll get them, no question about it, and if you don't, see JCD on the day of the gig, HE'll sort things out for you. He may not be a fairy, Ticket or otherwise, but he is a wizard . Cheers, Id3
  13. Flattered, most certainly . He is an am!bitous artist, wanting to make it, go very high, already on his way there, and every single sign that it's happening and that his talent is acknowledged must delight him . Forunately we don't all react in the same way, or we would be a very boring bunch of fans. I don't think I would roam the planet as Sara does, still I am very happy for her and, obnoxious as I am, I would never criticise her when she is at her most decadent . Or we could also argue that 40 pds for the acoustic tour tickets -that's what they more or less cost, wasn't it ?- is a shame because with that money you could feed some families for a week... The value of anything is in the eye of its buyers and they have every right to spend their money as they see fit. And enjoyable. Cheers, Id3
  14. By 'being privileged', and I will remind you of the fact that I was answering Laurel's post complaining about the tickets not having reached her yet, not commenting on the number of gigs per country, I only meant that at least you UK residents don't have to queue up to get your bleeding tickets , they are sent to you. They are not outside the UK, which seetickets, for instance, didn't have the honesty to warn us about and I gave up on Latitude for that reason and offered my ticket for free to a friend of mine. Sandbag did try to send them, with their usual efficiency , but apparently many outside UK residents didn't receive them on time and had to collect them at the box office. In the same way, and although I don't keep tabs, most UK residents seem to have received their Songs for Sorrow eps, some of them a few weeks ago, I have just received mine but some people are still waiting for theirs. I'll admit that the word 'privileged' was not appropriate : actually, receiving what you have paid for is just normal service... only some of us don't get it, some of us do. As a French comedian said in a sketch : 'We are all equal, some people are just more equal than others' . Cheers, Id3
  15. I wish I could wear rose tinted glasses too, but they definitely make me look too camp . I do believe that when Sire sees how flatteringly high the bids went the last thing on his mind will be his over the clock queuing up, or dowright bankrupt fans. The Ticket Fairy, yesss. Cheers, Id3
  16. I dearly love a rebel ! Team M should consider hiring you to discipline the arrogant beggar ... Cheers, Id3
  17. I am just repeating what people have already said. Soaring S wrote she'd rather pay for the tickets. It wasn't possible, too bad, we had to accept it, if reluctantly. I don't believe Sire is that desperate about money , but I think it will make him feel good to see that three pairs of tickets have gone for 300, 220 and 200, the other two possibly for more, our friend K may not have been the highest bidder. Cheers, Id3
  18. Still, you are privileged : you live in the UK. I won't tell you what it's like for foreigners , it would send you and you don't need extra stress at the moment, do you ? Cheers, Id3
  19. Everything Sire-connected is stressing : M team, sandbags... seetickets -the ones who sold tickets for Latitude- were not bad either . I wonder if there isn't a secret competition between them, the winners -the company or the team who have caused the biggest number of stomach ulcers or panick attacks in MFCers - getting something huge, like M's custom made boxers or soaked shirt after a gig, or, every wildest dream, his old trainers . Cheers, Id3
  20. Did I get it right : those who can go will be given access ? Seems to me vague enough for Sire to tell us, afterwards : 'Ooops, sorry, I didn't mean that at all'... one of the half-promises, half-lies we keep getting from the Mastah ... Asking AC to grill the Ticket Fairy wouldn't even be a guarantee as communication between M and his team sucks -we do need a nose pinching smilie here ! Cheers, Id3
