    Quite honestly I don't get it either : I've been bidding for someone else and every time I go on ticketmaster they say current minimum bid for ticket, which I suppose means that the current bids go from 55 pds a ticket to 1 000 pds, but that must be Lill's latest bid, what else would you expect from such an fan ?     Thank you, Ellie, for a serious, thorough and still lively and vibrant report ! Don't worry, a maiden festival doesn't have to be wet. The sun must have felt good . OMS... yes, even when his voice wavers a bit, it's sheer heaven . Drunks ? They are a curse , and sadly not only at festivals . You must have been tempted to punch him in his beer belly, but then he would probably have thrown up his booze all over you, better take the high road and ignore the goon. Do you notice that when he performs at festivals Sire, who hardly wears any jewellery in theatres, is decorated like a Xmas tree ? The blue sneakers are a bit of an eyesore, what with the beads and orange jacket. Plus, he was wearing them without socks ... good thing it was an out of doors venue ! Cheers, Id3

    The first time I saw him on TV, it was a short interview in French, when he told the guy with that stubborn, petulant air he has sometimes : 'People'd better get used to me because I'm not going to be a shooting star' and I thought, the kid's got balls -he looked about 18 at that time. Then they showed the BG vid. Found it interesting and bought a ticket for the next gig I could go to, Brixton Academy. The first gig, from the very moment he jumps on stage.. you've read about people being hit by the blast of an explosion and you think, so that's what it feels like... Totally but waiting for the Ticket Fairy to move it can be very boring. Cheers, Id3

    Stop living in denial, AC, that's Niki's job . Actually I am not the only one who calls you by that endearing nickname, DL does too, I think, it's quite catching. And I started doing it because I could never get your letters right, or in the right order . So ACDC seemed the solution to my problem. And the band are brilliant ! If, again, she is the TF I am thinking of, it's not a strategy, she just hasn't a clue ... unfortunately ! Cheers, Id3

    Sire is an -almost- 26 year old adolescent, hence the 'F...' words or risqué innuendoes he is so fond of . Hence the fact that after writing a coming of age album, he is soon releasing a... coming of age one . Can't wait for the third album .     If the ticket fairy turns out to be male, dark, tall and curly, I would suggest pistachio nuts ... If it's a she, and the she I am thinking of, she is very partial to flowers . 'trying to work something out', 'had to work out a few details'... if M people invite you to a Xmas party, better come over with your own tree and grub because they'll probably realise on New Year's eve that they should have worked something out for December 25th ...     Bet you -come on, guys, I need the money- that on July 24th, when everybody will have realised that no tickets are going to be showered on ordinary MFCers , they will all rush to ticketmaster and then Sire is going to go Madonna high, bless him ! BTW, had you heard that Madonna had to cancel her show in Marseilles -not that I would have gone, don't like that circus- because the stage roof collapsed on the people who were putting it up, killing two, probably more in the hours to come ? All the more reason for Sire never to do stadiums again. Brixton Academy, Sadler's Wells, Passionkirche, Concertgebouw, those are safe, strongly built venues . Id3
