Thanks for this lovely message! Yes I am having a happy holiday with a bit of snotty nose and sore throat for every member of my family. X-(
there are still so much to do, as for Japanese New year's day is more important event. Clean up home to get ready for the brand new year to come. So many rituals to make ourselves to be lucky!
I hope you will have another exciting year...maybe meet up with Eriko somewhere in France or UK? Do you fancy? Anyway, we both family so we shall enjoy ourselves to the limit!

Well, I have no idea where you picked this... a shop or something?
I guess It's a phrase about a noodle called 'torotto tamago no nabeyaki tenpura soba', the direct translation is...Japanese buckwheat noodle in dashi broth, with tempra (deep fried veges and prawns in butter) and soft cooked eggs drizzled on top, cooked (and served?) in an individual pan.
And here is the translation; "I chose GooTa's 'torotto tamago no nabeyaki tempura soba' for this year's getting-over noode (Toshi koshi soba=Japanese eat a bowl of noodle on the 31st December before the new year starts. It is a kind of ritual hoping for good health and long life)."
It could be a bit hard to imagine the food unless you have eaten it...nice in winter day like today in UK...if you still not sure, please let me know. Nx

Hi Mrs Brightside! Yes, Japanese writings are complicated even for us. In fact, we need to learn a lot more of Chinese Characters and idioms at High School. So I really admire people who are not native Japanese read and write Japanese. ciao!

読んでいただき、ありがとうございます。 花嫁姿なんですが、顔が隠れる事を前提で立候補してしまったので、花嫁に顔を隠すベールが無いと言われ、「いいのか？本当に私でいいのか？」の疑問で頭がいっぱいになってしまいました。 現在、ブライトンのFood Festivalに出店するのに大慌てで饅頭を作っております。なかなかPcの前に座れないので、お返事遅くなってしまいまた。 そうなんです。LGは靴をもらえるので、下駄でも大丈夫と思ったら、実は花嫁で、靴は自前・・・ドレスを振りながら踊ったんですが、足元が見えないように必死でした。 大きな会場より、ライブハウスがいいです。Mikaの魅力が最大限に発揮されると思いますよ。 日本でイチゴ大福を試すなら、ちゃんとあんから店で作っているものを試してください。全く味が違いますよ。あと、コンビニのイチゴ大福はイチゴ大福でないので、お勧めしません。 期間限定ですが、明石にある大栄堂という和菓子屋のイチゴ大福が私はすきです。（一日20個しか作ってないのですが・・・） Thanks for readin such a messy report. We were not allowed to go to the backstage. So the photo was actually taken in the hall after all the audience left. As I have written in the report, he loved the Ichigo Daifuku. In fact, when MamaP was dressing me bofore the paformance, she told me that he was crazy about Ichigo Daifuku! That was the best moment in my life!!!

リクエストを頂いたので、Edinburghのライブレポです。いやぁ、もう一週間もたっちゃったなんて、信じられません。 ８月２３日の早朝、エジンバラはどんより曇り空。夜行バスが到着した足でHMV Picture Houseに向かう。まだ人はまばら。で、一応番号をもらったら、11番！（日本とは違い、チケットに番号がないので、並んだ者から番号をもらって、会場に入れるシステムです。） マイミクすみこさんと土砂降りの中落ち合って、ホテルへチェックイン。ちょっとお茶をしながら一休み。私は夜行バス、すみこさんはV Fesから完徹で、お互い疲れ気味。 雨が小降りになったので、持ってきた浴衣を着る事にした。 列に戻ると結構人が並び始めていた。このギグはファンクラブの人たちがたくさんいたので、顔は知らないけれど、ハンドル名で「どうも、おせわになっています」の世界でした。 ファンクラブが色々用意してくれたので、これ以上となく楽しいギグになりました。 用意してくれたものその１－ギグTシャツ。スコットランドの旗にMikaの歌のキャラが書いてあるもの。Lollipop Girl、Big GirlやBilly Brown等など。前もって頼んでいたものなので、私の名前が入っている。 用意してくれたものその２－Party Bag。イギリスでは子供の誕生日会の終わりに手土産として渡される小さなおもちゃやお菓子の入った袋。中身は全てライブ中に使用されるよう取説が入っている。 風船ーRelax（膨らまして、振る。） 蛍光の腕輪ー腕につけて振り回す。 紙コップーBilly Brownで歌の歌詞に合わせてシェイクする。 シャボン玉ーRain Blower（吹くと伸びる笛）－トランペットをするときに、いっせいに吹く。 ハートの形の白い風船ーふくらまして、Happy Endingで 仮面ーKick Ass 紙リボンとチュッポチャップスーLollipop さて、日本公演（４回）も指をくわえて見送り、エデンプロジェクトも仕事の関係でいけず、今回逃すともう後がないと、LGでも、BGでもどっちでもいいからやらせてくれ～と、ママPに頼んだ。「考えておくわ」のそっけない返事だったけど、ギグ直前にママPから「おいで、おいで」の合図が!!! 会場１時間前の６時に何とか会場に入ったけど、会場の第一印象は「ちっちぇ～！」でした。二階席もあったけど、１５００人収容なので、ライブハウスの大きさ。だから、舞台もちいさい！舞台と観客との間がやく50cmほど???凄すぎです。 当のMikaはさすがに連ちゃんだったので、お疲れ気味。うっすらと無精髭…ああ、一段と濃い。なんともまぁ、観客とのふれあいの多かったギグでした。風船でて、シャボン玉でて、トランペットソロのときにみんなで吹くと伸びる笛を鳴らしたら、「なにやってんねん」と、お叱りの言葉。投げられた笛を投げ返すけど、JimmyとiMMaがそれを拾ってMikaに向かって、ぶーーーーー。 さて、Death Marchに出る時間になったので、舞台袖に行ったら、ウェディングドレスを着せられた。どぇ～！そんなことなら、頑張ってダイエットしたのに…後で写真を見て、なんてデブで不細工な花嫁や…よく、ママPが私にやらせてくれたなぁ、と、今更ですが、再度ダイエットを決意するのでした。 とにかく、舞台が小さいので、ゆっくり歩く事と念を押され、至極ゆっくり歩く。が、浴衣を着ていき、足元は下駄履きだったため、自分のドレスにつまづき、ひまわりを引き倒し、iMMaのマイクスタンドを踏みつけて行進させていただきました。もう、こけそうで必死！ ママPに一応「よかったわよ！」と言われ、安堵。そして観客に戻ってしばしMikaを眺める。Mika&Jimmy劇場はどんどん磨きがかかり、「おいおい、ちょっとブラック過ぎへんかい？」と、突っ込み入れそうなぐらい、力が入ってました。 そして、最後のLollipop。ウサギのマスクを渡された。前が見えなくて、舞台の上でうろうろしていると、iMMaの腕がぐーんと彼女の方に引っ張ってくれ、何とか踊れる場所にたどり着く。そこからは、ドレスに下駄を引っ掛けようが、ドレスが重たくて持ち上げられなくても、老体に鞭打って頑張りました。 最後は舞台を降りた後、Mika本人から「今までで一番よかったよ。（お世辞。）すぐに戻ってくるから、待っててね。」とのこと。そして、記念撮影。トロい私は完璧にMikaと会話するチャンスを逃す。仕方がないので、出待ちでチャンスを待つ。 と、言うのが、雪見大福が好きなMikaなら、イチゴ大福も好きだろうと踏んだ和菓子屋のり子、誕生日プレゼントに弁当箱を送り、その中にいっぱいイチゴ大福とヒヨコ饅頭を詰めて、ギグの前にお世話係のマリアに「今日中に食べてねー」と、渡しておいたのだ。どうしてもその感想が聞きたかったからなのだ。 結果は、「They are amazing!」でした。そして、もらったサインにキスを意味する、ｘマークがぁぁぁぁぁぁぁ！有頂天。 翌日、重いウェディングドレスを着て飛んではねて踊った結果の筋肉痛に悩まされる事に。老体にウェディングドレスは合わんと思った瞬間でした。 今回かなった夢リスト １）Mikaにあう。 ２）Mikaにサインをもらう。 ３）Mikaにイチゴ大福をたべてもらう。 ４）ウェディングドレスを着る。 とうとう、ツアーが終わり、Mikaもイタリアで休暇を楽しんでいるようですね。今思うと、夢のようだったあの夜。いい思い出になりました。 イチゴ大福の注文、来ないかなぁ！

Big thanks, Nightbird!!! I love to have the copy of your photos. I will PM you. Awww, during the march, I was just thinking about left foot, right foot, left foot, right foot.... I nearly tripped over on my dress, pulled down the bunch of sunflowers and was stepping on microphone stands! Now my son (6 years old) looks at this photo over my shoulder and asks me many questions...i.e.where is daddy? I didn't wear Wedding dress on my wedding day, so I felt so ironic as I kept asking my husband to let me wear it one day...Mika (mamaP) let me put it on first! Anyway, the night was one I would never ever forget!!! By the way, has anyone spotted that Mika is changing his top at the back of his piano! I cannot think about anything else but Mika now!!!
