  9. My report: The beginning I have to start in the beginning of March. I was waiting desperately for a gig that was do-able for me. Last year I limited me to 500 km, what I already couldn't hold in 2012, as the gig in Vigevano was 580 km away. When Colmar was confirmed, I was torn between Colmar (maybe car) and Liège (maybe plane and train). I didn't know what to do, how to manage. At easter my mother told me, if I drove to Colmar, she'd come with me. I said, if she came with me, she would have to go to the gig also... End of April my mum talked with my aunt and now my auntie wanted to come with us also...But I still had no idea what to do...train, plane, everything was expensive and impractical (including driving with the car to Vienna or Venice). Express cards were sold out already, I had nightmares about accidents. In the beginning of june I booked a hotel room, still not sure, what to do. Then I got my birthday present (money from my parents for the gig in Colmar) and so the decision was done. Trying to get the tickets took me a lot of nerves and a lot of time also, but in the middle of july I finally had them... The trip Unfortunatelly I had to work on friday, so I couldn't start the trip before noon. I met my aunt near my work and we left at 12.15 noon, I drove to my mother's place and there we left at 1.15 pm The journey went well for about 1.5 hours, then the traffic got really hard and there was a lot of traffic jams, stop and go, from Hallein till Munich. I managed to drive wrong, so. I. had to drive through Munich (I never wanted to drive through bigger cities, as I live in the countryside), but it went well also. After Munich there was a lot of traffic again and it took about one hour, then I could finally drive. Faster than 20 or 50 km/h. Buuuut...then my satnav guides me through lonesome places, bad streets, streets which where closed because of construction works...I really got the feeling that something didn't want to get me to Colmar for that gig...but finally, finally, after hours of driving we arrived in Colmar at 1 am. The day before the gig We made some sightseeing with Mousetrap, which was really nice. Unfortunatelly I got a bad stomachache in the later afternoon, so we had to return to the hotel where we didn't leave this day anymore... The day of the gig We arrived the venue at 9.30 am, I was glad to see some familiar faces. At 11 am was the entry, then everyone hurried to the entrance of the express tickets. I was the only one with "normal" ticket of all the people I knew, so I felt a little lost. But then I met Lena Machu's husband and a little later Lena and I asked them if I could stay with them. So I wasn't alone anymore :-) When Miri and Ingie and the other arrived I went to say hello to Miri. I saw the wristbands and asked, what they were for, when I saw "Vip" on it I said, ah, well, I am no Vip...Miri said, everyone on the list would get one, so I said, so no wristband for me then (I didn't realize, that the list was from the RSVP on MFC). Miri said, of course my name was on the list, I was quite shocked and din't know what to say. Queing was quite nice, hot, time flew till 5pm, then it went a little slower. The entry of the express tickets began at 7.10, it went really fast, then they let the others in. I managed to get a place in 4th (later5th) row, which was ok. Asaf Avidan Er, well, let me say, he was quite...special. He is definitely not my cup of tea and one or two times I had to laugh about him. Sorry, Asaf. Mika When Asaf and his band left, construction workers build up the stage for Mika, it was quite diverting watching them, so time flew and finally, finally the band entered the stage. They began to play and Mika came... He started with Soleil mal luné and I had tears in my eyes as I had wished so hard to hear that song live once. I managed to overhear Overrated, I think it was the moment, when I helped a german girl besides me to find her contact lens... I loved the gig, I loved to be involved with the suns, balloons and glasses, I danced and sang, I loved how the audience sang, I jumped (as far as I could). As everyone said, Mika was in a great mood, but the only thing I understood the whole evening was, when he said in the beginning "Guten Tag, wie geht's". Nevertheless I was really glad, I decided to go. It was over too fast...as always. I am sure, if a gig lasted 3 hours, it would be too fast over also... After the gig We gathered toghether and were led backstage, where everything was prepared (thank you guys for everything, I am so glad I could be a part of it). I won't repeat everything, as other people already told about it in a better way than me. When Mika came to our table, he talked a little with Sabine and Karin, signed a few things and he left too soon...we took a group picture and then we left the backstage area. My aunt and my mother waited in my car for me, but we had managed to talk before they went, and they said, that they had enjoyed the gig very much. The trip home On monday we left Colmar at 9.30 am. We drove through France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Germany and finally back to Austria. The trip went well, we had not too much traffic and I was ok and enjoyed driving. After 1.565 km (all together) I drove into our carport and managed to crash into a pile of it...fortunatelly my car was ok though...but I couldn't have driven anymore...I was glad to be home again...we arrived my place in 7.20 pm It was definitely worth the whole travelling, it was one of my best gigs so far. I was happy to see familiar faces and it was nice to meet "new" ones. And I hope I'll see you again
  10. Oh, it was you with your sisters who had that great shoes, I loved them also
  11. For sure I am, as I didn't think I would be there also, was like that, when I realised it:
  12. Hello, welcome to the mfc! And thank you and Lena for your company while queuing
  13. It must have been during the time when I helped trying to find the contacts of that German girl who was beside me...I missed that totally
  14. Wanted to say thankyou to Miri, Ingie and those who managed the m&g, thank you so much
  15. That's a pity :(

    another time then ;)
