  1. Oh, I thought "Italian edit" meant he was singing Origin Of Love and Stardust in Italian. I just got the French deluxe version and was thinking of getting the Italian version next to get the two Italian edits, but first I'd like to know if they're worthwhile. There's no musical difference, but he changed the lyrics, you say. So did he change them just a little or a lot? Are they totally different, or did he just change a word here and there? Is it different enough from the UK versions that it's worth getting? Please, tell me all.
  2. I agree. The underwater sequence is good, and I love your interpretation of it.
  3. Your interpretation of the video is fun. I like it. I thought the video was very pretty. The under water sequence must have been difficult to film and the result is looking cool. I like it.
  4. I ordered the French deluxe edition of The Origin Of Love as an import CD from Amazon UK. Man, that was expensive, but worth it to get the French songs. I got it in the mail yesterday and think Karen is great, even though I understand very little French, so I don't really know what Mika's singing on the French songs. But they sound good.
  5. Just got the Japanese edition with Your Sympathy in the mail today! I ordered it as an import CD from Amazon UK. Man, that was expensive, but it's nice to finally have the complete Life In Cartoon Motion experience.
  6. I'd love to get that. Where can I get that? Maybe they have it as an import on Amazon.
  7. Thank you very much for the link. I can't make sense of all that Japanese writing, though.
  8. Your Sympathy isn't on the Danish iTunes, either. I got the track by copying it off of YouTube. Serves Mika's record company right for not including all the tracks on the European release. Why, we didn't even get Ring, Ring and Erase. I had to buy the American edition from Amazon for those. I'm gonna see if I can buy the Japanese edition from Amazon, too.
  9. Your Sympathy is not mentioned as a track on the Japanese edition of Life In Cartoon Motion on the discography thread here: http://www.mikafanclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6396 So I'm confused to what the track listing is for the Japanese edition. Could someone who has it please post the actual track listing? I'm curious as to where the song was placed on the album - between what songs. Please?
  10. Thank you for the link. There are many Mika-videos on youtube I'd like to save.
  11. That's funny, considering at Mika's show in KB Hallen in 2010, he spoke quite a bit of Danish. I was a LITTLE disappointed he didn't speak any Danish this time.
  12. Lovely performance. Surely he took a nap afterwards before the evening's concert.
  13. Here's the link that will take you to the performance video from 29 October 2012: http://go.tv2.dk/morgentv/id-59341386.html Enjoy! P.S. It's preceded by an advertisement.
  14. Here's a link to Mika's morning TV appearance: http://go.tv2.dk/morgentv/id-59341386.html Enjoy!
  15. I enjoyed it, too. He should record it as an acoustic version and release it as a b-side to his next iTunes single.
  16. Don't feel bad. I didn't get to say hello to you, either. But I did talk to a woman who was there with her young daughter. They didn't know about this fansite, so I told them about it.
  17. I enjoyed the choir, by the way. I thought it was a fun addition to the show.
  18. So Mika and the band got to eat and you didn't get anything and had to go on stage hungry?
  19. Mika was on Danish morning TV performing an acoustic version of Celebrate. You should be able to see it if you Google "Mika morgen tv". It's on TV2's homepage, or at least it was yesterday. Me and my friend went to the show at 20h. While we waited for Mika to go on, we talked a bit with the reviewer from Danish newspaper B.T. I was happy there was no opening act, so the wait didn't drag out. And thankfully the show wasn't sold out, so we found a spot with a good view (the balcony was closed), but were worried that the small turn-out might mean Mika would skip Copenhagen on his next tour. God forbid. But as it was, it was a very intimate concert and we loved every minute of it, singing along and dancing. We had a party. It was great. I think the setlist was: 1. Blame It On The Girls 2. A lovely extended version of a personal favourite of mine, Blue Eyes 3. Billy Brown 4. Relax, Take It Easy 5. Lola 6. Rain 7. Popular Song 8. Big Girl (You Are Beautiful) 9. Stardust (piano and vox) 10. Underwater 11. Love Today 12. Love You When I'm Drunk 13. Stuck In The Middle 14. The Origin Of Love 15. Happy Ending 16. Celebrate 17. Grace Kelly 18. Lollipop 19. We Are Golden I really enjoyed the part where we had to help Mika to get his bassist to stop singing. We thought the sound was very good and enjoyed the room for dancing. At the encore, we even manged to get closer to the stage and get a really good look at how pretty Mika is. We experienced no pushing or shoving. The atmosphere was really good. And thankfully it had stopped raining when it was time to go home. And yes, we went up Istedgade. It went fine. We were high from the show. What a lovely and great experience. It was only my second Mika concert. The last one was in KB Hallen in 2010. That was a great show, too, with a little more interaction with the band than this time around. But my friend and I were completely satisfied. Mika is the best!
  20. I'm going with a friend. I'm hoping we can get seats on the balcony. ;-)
