    Idem svuda po malo, ali najvise sam u wonkaland-u, cini mi se. Svratim i u Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's Supermika... Igram Celeb game, onako bezveze, ubacim se dok cekam da mi se nesto otvori. Bila sam i kod Oldlingsa, ali se tamo sve prebrzo odvija, kao da cetuju, pa mi je naporno da ih pratim. Zao mi je sto onaj nas Ex-Yu nije malo aktivniji JC_pitiful.gif

     

    A internet mi jako lose radi ovih dana i strasno me nervira, pa provodim vise vremena ovde nego sto bi trebalo. Redovno mi se prekida veza, pa mi se brisu postovi. Neki se dupliraju, neki ispadnu polovicni, looodiloo. JC_out_cold.gif

    I had some buts, but my whole message disappeared when I tried to edit. My internet connection is sh** I'm too tired to type again. And dont fell that there's point to argue anymore, everything is explained. That's great attitude.

    I agree with that, but you said if Mika was doing art for art's sake he would probably be singing in a bar with just his keyboard and selling his CD's after the show. So I thought that you talk only about music. It must be a bigger team cause he succeeded to get to masses with his concept, and they can't do everything by themselves. It's understandable, and OK. And the fact that Greg and Mika were getting annoyed (which I didn't know) is just proof that he wanted to do his own thing, and not to be just a product to be sold. Most of today's music sounds just like a product to be sold. The concept of MIKA sounds much better than Mika the product. Of course not, that's not what I said. And i agree with the thing you said about being a product of his own personality and creative energy and not just a product (if I can add, of some producer or record company)

    Not art, for art's sake, but music, for music sake. He is not Tom Waits. He makes pop music, so he anticipates masses, but when you say "product" it sounds so industrial to me. And the machine that pulls everything is still mostly his family. He must promote himself in order to perform, and we all know that he likes to perform as much as he likes to create. And I'm not arguing, I completely understand what you are saying, it's just that "product" word that annoys me. Because what attracted me to Mika's music is that it didn't smell industrial like most of today's music does. And I hate myself for not knowing English better so I can explain what I mean. I hope you'll understand.

    Oh, you mean his dad is the boss?!? I don't know, but still want to believe that he is the same Mika who wrote "Grace Kelly", and not liking "obligations" when it comes to writing his music. When was that tweet? I didn't see it. Product is such a harsh word, don't you think?

    When I saw The Wild Boys thread I thought no way it's a Duran Duran one. And then I opened it.... No way! It is! I was Duranie ages ago, and I'm not crazy about them anymore, but it's sweet to see such thread. I never saw them live. And now I'm not interested. I'm not nostalgic at all. I guess we must be the same age, cause I was "Simonette" when I was 11. It was such a crush! Honestly, now I'm not sure what happened with me back then.
